Without being mixed, they are clear and distinct, yet one does not understand the confusion of the faces and hands with characteristics and the fundamental appearance. It is because the inner sphere is pure from the beginning. There are four aspects to awareness settling in its own place: The body of Dharmakaya, which is immutable, is like a vajra (136). Because awareness, as Dharmakaya, takes possession of the Rupakaya, the Dharmakaya is indestructible and inseparable. Because wisdom is unimpeded, life is like a yungdrung, and the nature of the Sambhogakaya's inner clarity remains constant. The continuous samadhi is without gathering or scattering, and the intention that transcends sessions is like the flow of a river. Awareness is without clarity or obscurity. Because it is free from all impurities, wisdom is self-illuminating, and one obtains a body like the essence of the sun, residing in a precious casket without change. These are the instructions for sitting on one great seat, the instructions for mingling in one pure land, the instructions for clarifying in one appearance, and the instructions for gathering in one great casket. Buddhas have no place, wisdom has no dharma, the fruit has no self, and intention has no companion. Even if one ascends from there, one leaves no trace in the sky. What is shown is the great perfection, the precious secret casket. From the intermediate state of existence of the lowest faculties, reversing the momentum of samsara is like driving a stake into a (137) formed embankment. The instruction is as follows: The intermediate state of existence is the separation from the body of this birth. In the intermediate state of dharmata, one does not recognize the true face of one's own appearance, and the appearance of wisdom fades. Because past habitual patterns arise, sentient beings with memory are like the appearance of a dream. The faculties are complete, endowed with miraculous powers, naturally timid, and wandering everywhere without staying in one place. The intermediate being has inner and divine eyes, so others cannot see it. It is diligent in seeking a body and a dwelling place. As it says in the Tantra: In the appearance of the clear light of dharmata, because the wisdom of realization has not arisen, the appearance of past habitual patterns arises. The fleshly body of existence arises first, the faculties are complete and unimpeded, those with pure divine eyes of the same kind see it, it acts by the power of karmic miraculous powers, it seeks a body and a dwelling place, it goes to houses, mountain caves, dark places, and gorges and caves, and enters the place of birth, the mind-made body of hell beings and hungry ghosts. So it is. At this time, awareness is seven times clearer than before (138). In the six recollections, the appearance is light.

Regarding the wheel of samsara and nirvana, and the instructions of the Guru, etc., it is explained to remember them. The highest of the lowest attains liberation by reversing the wheel of illusory wisdom through the practice of the generation stage of the Yidam deity. The middle of the lowest attains liberation in those fields of refuge by taking refuge in glorious Vajrasattva, etc., in the Pure Land of Manifest Joy in the East, and by contemplating the qualities of the pure land and its Buddha. The lowest of the lowest surpasses through the good karma of seeing the essential points of introduction. When a son of faithful parents is born completely, the remaining force of karma awakens, and encountering this Dharma, encountering it at the age of twenty-five or thirty-five, one is liberated without the bardo. The extensive explanation of these three, ground, path, and fruit, has been taught. The second meaning, the binding of the essential points of the six lamps, among the six: The abiding ground lamp is: The ground, the Buddha of self-existing nature, pervades all of samsara and nirvana, abiding like butter pervading milk (page 139). The Sutra of the Garland of Glory says: The Tathagatagarbha pervades all beings. The Praise of Names says: Immutable, all-pervading, pervader. The Guhyasamaja Tantra says: Apart from the precious mind, there is neither Buddha nor sentient being. The Four Wheels Tantra says: Unborn, uncreated, possessing the essence of five lights, the supreme root of all beings. Thus it is. The lamp of the citta-flesh is: Within the heart, the body and wisdom, together with their own light, abide like a lamp inside a vase. The Sutra of the Tathagatagarbha says: Within all sentient beings, it abides without moving from how it was in the beginning. The Praise of Names says: Each self-aware, unmoving, the supreme first, possessing the three bodies. The Hevajra Tantra says: Great wisdom abides in the body, all thoughts are completely abandoned, it pervades all things, the body abides, not born from the body. The Condensed Bindu Tantra says: In the center of the citta that sentient beings remember, it abides in the nature of the three dharmas. Thus it is. The lamp of the white, soft vein is: From the heart to the eye, in the vein resembling a white silk thread, the self-radiance of wisdom appears, like a halo around a star. The Extensive Sutra Verses says: Because of the connection with the lamp of wisdom, direction.
