It is like grasping the five lights with a hook of binding, and dissolving into the nature of purity that gathers, in the state of wisdom arising. And the weaving of the thread of unfailing dharani, these are the three. The example of liberation in an instant is like a lion leaping, and like a lamp illuminating when a vase is broken. The example of liberation in three instants is like a shooting star streaking across the sky. Entering wisdom swiftly is like a golden needle. The example of the appearance of the light of wisdom in the nature of reality is like a rainbow appearing in the sky. Non-retrogression is like lightning and the power of a great measure. The example of perfect enlightenment is like the unobstructed clarity of mountains and rivers when dawn breaks. It is also like stars appearing in the ocean and the moon in water. The subsequent appearance of mind and color from the absence of manifest existence in the bardo is like the subsequent arising of a green sprout, previously non-existent, at the time of seed germination. Liberation into oneself through the activity of the nirmanakaya is like a stream merging into the ocean, and the rays of the sun merging into itself at sunset. The example of nirvana is like a rainbow dissolving into the sky. The example of different awarenesses in the same realm is like lighting many lamps, where the light is not divided, but the essence is clear in each. The example of one awareness perfecting various abilities is like one seed giving rise to a trunk and branches that separate, and then ears of grain arising on them, ultimately perfecting into many fruits. The example of liberation from one's own ground to one's own ground, abiding in indivisibility, is like dividing the sky and then releasing it again. The example of the four extremes is liberation from one and other, like gold and the yellowness of gold. Non-liberation is like mirages and water. Liberated non-liberation is like plums and vases. Non-liberated liberation is like the sun and light. The example of the sign of wisdom abiding in itself is like being drunk. The example of not being liberated by meditating without conceptualization is like a painting or a craft here. The example of wisdom being self-illuminating within a precious container, with nothing else appearing, is like guests gathering and sleeping in a spacious room at night. Initially, confusion arises from within the precious container, like a child seeing his own face reflected in a mirror, not recognizing it, and thinking it is someone else.

Like pride, etc. An analogy for not being confused later is like a child recognizing the ultimate limit of his body. It's like crops that don't return to the fields after they're ripe. Son of the family, the nature of the analogy is like the symbols that represent each one. The definition of analogy is that it is called analogy because it represents in a harmonious and similar way. The divisions are: analogy representing the base, analogy representing the ability, analogy representing liberation, and analogy representing non-duality. The need is to understand the meaning. So it is said. Although the analogies are scattered, they show great meaning, so the key is very important. Fifth, the four extremes also have the same nature, depending on the Dharma of the occasion, appearing as one, different, liberated, and unliberated. The definition is that the four extremes are different, so they are four extremes. The divisions are: the four extremes of time and (451) the four extremes of liberation and non-liberation, which are two. The analogy is as shown before. From that very text: the nature, definition, and divisions of the four extremes, and the corresponding analogies. The analogy should be understood as before. The nature is the two that include the divisions, namely the four extremes of time and the four extremes of liberation and non-liberation. The four extremes of time are: the time when the pure human body reaches the ultimate limit of the body; the time when the ability of wisdom is perfected; the time when the limit of karma is exhausted and great wisdom is perfected in oneself; and the time when the compassion of the perfectly enlightened Buddha is exhausted. The four extremes of liberation are: what is liberated from one and different is the bindu and self-born wisdom. Son of the family, why? The bindu itself appears as self-born wisdom, and self-born wisdom is inseparable from the bindu. Because there is no duality in meaning. What is liberated from one and different is the Dharmakaya and space. Son of the family, why? Because these two are different, the naturally pure space has the nature of four colors and four shapes (452) due to Mount Sumeru and the four continents. Although the nature of the four elements is pure, the habitual tendencies have not been removed, so the essence is non-discriminating emptiness. The Dharmakaya great bindu is the same as emptiness, but is liberated from these. Therefore, it is unliberated from one and different. The liberated unliberated is mind and wisdom. Liberation is the same basis. Unliberated is
