It is necessary to bring the meaning of reality to its ultimate conclusion. In a secluded place, when wisdom distinguishes between clarity and turbidity, one may become lost in what to do due to remembering various things. Therefore, one must settle into a meditative posture and practice. There is no better opportunity than this now. As one faces the boundary between samsara and nirvana, it is crucial to generate diligence and strive in practice. Worldly affairs, common (326) Dharma practices, ordinary appearances—whatever they may be, put aside the big, abandon the small, and practice with firm vows. Because negative habits pursue meditation, the activities that each person previously engaged in, crafts and merits, retinues and possessions, food and wealth, fame and gain, etc., become obstacles to Dharma practice. Therefore, hold them with mindfulness. How much did you do before? How much did you enjoy? Even if you did, there was no essence. So, from now until you attain enlightenment, resolve not to let even a moment flow towards non-Dharma aspects, and practice with great diligence. Whether male or female practices, only great diligence is important. These are indispensable constraints for accomplishing the ultimate Dharma. Therefore, it is crucial to strive in the practice of solitary abiding. Secondly, the order of how to practice has four aspects: view, meditation, conduct, and result should become yoga. Firstly, there are three (327): view like cutting off city traffic, instructions like the mountain king standing firm, realization like the complete liberation of the three realms. The first is: the spontaneously accomplished self-arisen wisdom of the Great Perfection, free from activity, whose essence does not establish anything, whose nature is clear and pure, whose compassion manifests in everything. In the realm of awareness-emptiness, the great primordial purity, all appearances of samsara and nirvana are a play, like ornaments and skills, abiding as self-appearing, self-arising, and self-liberating. That is, the self-nature of awareness is empty, clear, and completely transparent. In the state of not establishing anything, from the play of the spontaneously accomplished five lights, external appearances, including the body, are established, appearing as the adornment of self-appearance, appearing as the play of wisdom, appearing as the unobstructed play. However, appearances are not established as true. For example, the appearances of a dream are the play, adornment, and dance of self-appearance without any place to be found. From the play of compassion-awareness, the inner mind and mental events, the eight consciousnesses, are established.

E! It appears in the play of intelligence (རིག་, rigpa), in the play of compassion, and although it appears as a self-arisen adornment, its own nature is not established as true. For example, like the consciousness in a dream, although it appears there, it is self-liberated from the place of appearance, self-purified, self-vanished, and appears as the play of self-arisen skill, adornment, and enjoyment. Therefore, all external objects, intermediate bodies, and internal minds appear as mere magical displays of baseless, self-appearing emptiness. There is not even a tip of a blade of grass of truth or establishment. The appearance in the untrue is because the manifestation of intelligence has not ceased, so it appears as skill, adornment, and enjoyment. Just as the essence of a jewel is not cut off in any way, and the desired skill, adornment, and enjoyment arise, it is because the jewel is complete with the nature of great qualities. Therefore, all phenomena first arise from intelligence, now also appear in the face of intelligence, and finally dissolve into intelligence. Therefore, it is called naturally enlightened and completely pure in self-arisen wisdom. Since intelligence has five types, it appears as the five aggregates. (329) Since there are five lights, the five elements appear as mothers. Since there are five wisdoms, the five afflictions appear. Although the appearance seems deluded, the meaning abides in complete purity. That which is non-existent and enlightened in the nature of clear appearance is the view of non-duality. As the lion is complete with skill, from the five afflictions arise the five wisdoms, from the five objects arise the bodies of the five lights, from the five aggregates arise the five Buddhas, from the five elements arise the five mothers. The three realms themselves are Buddha-fields, which are the self-nature of non-dual view. As it is said. As it is said in the Garland of Pearls: All aggregates, realms, and sources dissolve into lineages and lords of lineages. As it is said. Vessels and essence are originally empty, ultimate and conventional are form. As it is said. Secondly, the instruction of Mountain Stillness is that whatever appears is understood as the play of Dharma-nature. Without distinguishing between good and bad, without calculating right and wrong, hold the time in the unchanging state of stillness. By seeing the self-nature of view, there is no doubt or contradiction in the mind's intellect, so the mind is at ease like an unmoving mountain. As it is said in the Consequence: When the nature of view is seen, there is no place for the mind's intellect to strive with words. As it is said. Thus, the yogi who has realized this, when looking at external phenomena, sees that appearances have no self-nature. When looking at internal Dharma-nature, he knows that emptiness
