This is the practice of sudden entry. There are three oceans: the ocean of symbolic signs, the ocean of illustrative examples (264), and the ocean of the meaning of the primordially pure nature of reality, explained extensively. Secondly, clarifying the ocean: On a comfortable seat, assume the vajra posture. Establish the seven points of meditation. With the spine straight, the channels are straight. With the channels straight, the winds are straight. With the winds straight, the bindus are straight. With the bindus straight, wisdom dawns clearly. By looking with one of the three ways of seeing, whichever is preferred, the appearance expands as the pure realm of the Sambhogakaya. The five dharmas of wisdom are: wisdom that transcends the body, the Buddha that transcends the mind, the Dharmakaya that transcends the ground of all, the prajna that transcends the intellect, the self-sound that transcends the elements, and the self-appearance that transcends words. Peaceful abiding, non-conceptual, things are like the all-pervading sky. Insight, without delusion, like stars scattered in the sky. Clear light, non-conceptual, clear like the sun in the sky. Union, non-dual, like the sun and its rays. That which is self-aware wisdom, dawning clearly, even if it goes to the realm of the sky (265), there is no precipice, and there is no suffering of falling for my awareness. Even if it goes to the peak of Mount Meru, there is no decline or sinking. Even if it goes to the bottom of the ocean, there is no moisture or erasure. Even if it goes into the midst of a fire, there is no heat or burning. Awareness is spontaneously accomplished, directly perceived, unstained by the faults of birth and death, the karma of samsara, unstained by good and evil. Without fault, self-liberated, self-arising in the great, therefore it is called the view without partiality or attachment. Essence is Dharmakaya, pure, free from elaboration, naturally empty. Nature is Sambhogakaya, with marks and signs, appearing as a rainbow body. Nirmanakaya is various, taming beings with compassion. The nature of reality is resonant, the colors of wisdom are: blue, white, yellow, red, and green, appearing in five colors. The wisdom of Dharmadhatu is the nature of space itself. Mirror-like wisdom is clear, without birth or cessation. Equality wisdom is undifferentiated, knowing all. Discriminating wisdom is non-conceptual, each clear. Accomplishing activity, the result manifests. (266) The five kayas are shown, their intention and conduct liberated in the sky. Without signs, free from elaboration, empty of verbal expression. There is no day or night, no duality of day and night. The thought of grasping samsara and nirvana as two does not arise. It is precious to be seized by the essence of the Trekchö view. The Buddha's teachings are the supreme lamp of the world. Unwavering.

O, the guidance to clarify the ocean. Within three days and nights, signs will appear without doubt. This is called "The Dark Guidance of Entrusting the Ocean, the Wheel of Clear Light." Completed, written by the yogi of the Great Perfection of Naturalness, Longchen Rabjam. If awareness is not cultivated manifestly, in the bardo, wisdom will arise as a demon. By grasping the illusory body of awareness with the mind, one takes on a bad body, fearing oneself. When realization and conduct become manifest, this illusory body is a radiant deity. The meaning of awareness is suchness itself, always gazing at the edge of the sky. The nature of reality is like the sun rising in the sky, realization is like a river flowing continuously. The body without a body (267) is the best of bodies, the end of the body is realized as the Dharmakaya. The mind without a mind is also the best of minds, awareness is self-luminous and all-knowing. Speech without speech is liberated from the realm of expression, the inexpressible emptiness is the sound of Dharma. In the pure realm of Dharma nature for those to be tamed, the nature of omniscience abides. Taming the difficult-to-tame ignorant beings, taming sentient beings with the hook of compassion. Samsaric beings are liberated into the Dharmakaya, delivering the wish-fulfilling jewel to its own place. Thus it is said. Good! Good! Good! From the Profound Yangtik, The Great Garuda Completing its Wings dwells. This is called The Great Garuda Completing its Wings. Homage to the Great Expansion of Dharmata. The rootless, baseless, unchanging, innate mind, the unmade king, naturally abiding, self-liberated. Transcending abandoning and adopting, rejecting and accepting, hope and doubt, homage to the nature of mind, the basis of completion. The expanse of primordial purity beyond (268) thought, the king of mind, the Great Perfection of Naturalness. Not abandoning anything, the nature of transcending everything, listen to the nature of all dharmas being primordially liberated. The inexpressible, primordially complete mind, the great sky, without action, without effort, transcending memory and thought. Whatever arises, without attachment, the spontaneously vast expanse of awareness, naturally abiding, self-liberated, directly seeing the inconceivable. It is the natural state, do not fabricate or adulterate it. Why do you forget its essence through ignorance? Imposing a clever box on the innate mind, fabricating and fabricating, obscuring the meaning of the essence. There is no liberation, and thus it becomes a bondage again. Whoever has a broad and relaxed mind, that is the natural state, there is no need to fabricate it. Flowing appearance is self-purifying, do not adulterate it with antidotes, do not abandon
