Having said this, he threw it into the ash pit. After three days, people saw vibrations and bright rays of light in the pit, so they went to check and found it filled with delightful things. The gods and kings of the sages also saw this sight and were amazed, so they made offerings to him. After seven years, he naturally knew all the Dharma without learning. After that, he went to Oddiyana (present-day Swat Valley in Pakistan) and debated with the Panditas and won, and was known as an emanation of the Buddha (14). The king was very happy about this and gave him the name "Garab Dorje"; his mother called him "Cremation Ground Ash Hair"; the locals called him "Cremation Ground Bliss"; and the Panditas called him "Prajñābhava". In this way, he obtained four different names. This was because he had previously listened to the Dharma from the twelve emanations, and it was due to the aspiration of the four rebirth bodies. After that, he went to the northern Mount Radiant Sun, where he remained in meditation for thirty-two years. Then, he went to the top of the piled-up Malaya jewels, and recorded the Sutras and precious Tantras that he had heard from the Buddhas in the past, especially the 6.4 million categories of Atiyoga teachings, and kept them in a cave where the Dakinis could not appear. After that, he went to the Cool Grove charnel ground northeast of Vajrasana (Bodh Gaya) and taught the Dharma to the Dakinis. At that time, in the city called "Second Level" west of Vajrasana, there lived a great teacher named Mañjuśrīmitra, the son of the Brahmin Legdan Tonpa (15) and his mother, Light Lamp. This teacher was proficient in all fields of knowledge. Mañjuśrī had prophesied, "Hey! Son of lineage, if you want to attain Buddhahood in one lifetime, go to the Cool Grove charnel ground!" As soon as he heard this prophecy, he immediately went. He met the master and listened to the Dharma for seventy-five years. Then, at the source of the Dantic River northeast of that charnel ground, the master showed the manner of passing into Nirvana. At that time, he uttered a sorrowful lament, "Alas! Alas! Alas! When the light of the teacher's lamp is extinguished, who will dispel the darkness of the world?" After saying this, he extended his right arm from the center of the radiant sky, up to the elbow, and threw a mustard-sized treasure box filled with precious gold, which fell into the hands of Mañjuśrīmitra.

When the testament that had descended into his hand was opened, merely seeing the testament that succinctly struck the key points with three words, he became equal to the master in realization. Thereafter, the sixty-four myriads of the Great Perfection of Naturalness were divided into the three sections of Mind Section, Space Section, and Instruction Section. The Instruction Section was further divided into Explanatory Transmission and Whispered Transmission, and after annotating the Whispered Transmission, since a vessel to entrust the Explanatory Transmission was not found, all the texts were hidden beneath a boulder sealed with a vajra crossed-vajra at the northeast of Vajrasana (present-day Bodh Gaya in Bihar, India), and then he dwelt in contemplation in the great charnel ground Sosa Ling in the west of Vajrasana. At that time, in a place in China called Shwa Khyams Ling, the son of the householder Gewa Dänpa'i Yidchen and the mother Nangsal Khyenma, the great master Shri Singha, who was a learned scholar endowed with the qualities of study, having heard that (the master) had prophesied as before in Sosa Ling due to great compassion, went forth and met the master Manjushrimitra, and listened to the Dharma for twenty-five years. Thereafter, on the summit of the stupa of that very charnel ground, when the master passed away without remainder, as before, cries of lamentation were uttered, and from the midst of a mass of light in the sky, what was called the Sixth Meditative Experience descended as before (17), and upon seeing it, he became equal in realization. Thereafter, Shri Singha extracted all the texts from the northeast of Vajrasana, and went to the interconnected rock caves at the foot of the Bodhi tree in China, and divided the Great Perfection Thigle cycle into the four sections of Outer, Inner, Secret, and Unsurpassed. The first three sections were hidden as treasures for the sake of the meaning of elaborations, and the last was retained. After the dakini prophesied, it was then hidden in the auspicious Thousand-Doored Temple, and then he dwelt in contemplation in the great charnel ground of Cool Bestowal. At that time, in the city called Elephant Peak in the west of India, the son of the householder Deldän Khorlo and the mother Selrigma, the great master Vimalamitra, and in the city of Kamala in the east of India, the son of the butcher Shanting Lakpa and the mother Gesemma, the two great masters Yeshe Do, were dwelling there. When they went to the lotus grove in the west of Vajrasana to relax, Vajrasattva prophesied:
