The root texts of the four cardinal wheels, and gradually clarifying the bindu light body, etc., causing the breath to be held in union, according to the order of the guru's words. The disciple should meditate clearly without distraction, and the guru should slowly and solemnly play the damaru, pausing in between with a beautiful melody. Ema, son of a fortunate lineage! The navel, the wheel of manifestation, is the abode of the manifested body. The five winds have transcended movement and effort. The bindu light body shimmers and dissolves. Ema, son of a fortunate lineage! The heart, the wheel of dharma, is the abode of the dharma body. The five Buddha families are each like a spark of fire. Ema, son of a fortunate lineage! The throat, the wheel of enjoyment, is the abode of the enjoyment body. With marks and signs naturally arising, the bindu light body, yala la. Ema, son of a fortunate lineage! The crown, the wheel of great bliss, is the abode where the three bodies converge. From the peak where the fruits converge, the wrathful king roars, yala la. By these, the visualization should be made clear. Eighth, throwing the flower: In order to symbolize that the eye of wisdom is blinded by beginningless ignorance, the eyes are covered with a black blindfold, and between the palms, a blindfold of five-colored silk is held, and recited: Emaho! From the essence of the original clear light, until now encountering this supreme vehicle, by the karmic results of training on the ground (73), may the supreme lineage descend upon this. After reciting, throw it into the center of the mandala. Ninth, naming: When the flower falls in the center, give the name: Spontaneous variety, Vajra Essence in the east, Desire for spontaneous arising in the south, Great Bliss King in the west, Five Gates Free from Action in the north. Tenth, opening the blindfold: The disciple says: Alas, Vajradhara Protector Lord, I am blind in the three realms of samsara. Please, Lord, with your wisdom and compassion, dispel my ignorance. In response, the guru says: Ema, son of a fortunate lineage! In the past, you were blinded by the delusion of grasping and fixation. You left what was within yourself and searched elsewhere. The spoon symbolizes the wish-fulfilling jewel. After reciting, it is thought that the ignorance is dispelled by opening the blindfold with a golden spoon. The meaning of this is that the essence of mind, endowed with the five wisdoms, is like a wish-fulfilling jewel that is inherent within oneself, but one does not recognize it and clings to duality.

Ignorance obscures the eye of wisdom, wandering in samsara by seeking externally (74). Now, with the guru's compassionate wisdom teachings, the obscurations of ignorance are removed with a golden needle, and the radiance of awareness is shown manifestly in the heart. Thus it is said. Next is the eleventh, showing what is seen. First is the guru's showing. The guru says: Look, look, son of lineage! Do not be distracted, look within the state of mind! My seeing is diverse, what do you, child, see? In response, it is said: I see the guru as the Buddha. Thus it is said. That is, those with purified karma see deity forms and light masses, etc., and with faith, see the Buddha. Second is the showing of the mandala. Look, all you fortunate ones with eyes! Look at this beautiful mandala! Now is the time to generate supreme faith. What do you see your mandala as? In response, one answers according to what color is seen most prominently, such as white, yellow, red, blue, etc. (75). This is identifying the family of whichever wisdom has manifested for oneself. Then, gradually introducing it with a golden needle, etc., the reality of the mandala is explained: The central circle appearing blue is a symbol that the ground, the nature of reality, is devoid of opposition. The eight-petaled lotus appearing beautifully adorned is a symbol that the ground is endowed with the purity of the five root winds. Appearing as four corners is a symbol of being endowed with the light of the four elements. The four courtyards with doors are a symbol of the four activities being complete in oneself. The five walls of Pañca Rekha are a symbol of being endowed with the enclosure of the five wisdoms. The four steps are a symbol of the four immeasurables being spontaneously accomplished on the ground. The eight animals are a symbol of the eight aggregates of consciousness being pure from the ground. The four wheels are a symbol of the four wheels of Dharma, outer, inner, secret, and unsurpassed, being turned from the beginning. The four umbrellas are a symbol of being primordially clear in the realm of the four (76) that are permanent, stable, unchangeable, and spontaneously accomplished. The various vajras are a symbol that all dharmas are enlightened from the beginning, abiding in the state of Great Perfection. The silk of desirable qualities is a symbol of not abandoning desirable qualities, but appearing as adornment. Pagu is...
