Free from conceptual appearances. This is the fortunate yogi. Even the faces of the Buddhas are seen unobscured and completely clear. The intention is placed in a single sign. The self-appearance of non-dual wisdom is seen. The appearance of delusion is naturally reversed. The wisdom of non-delusion is the very appearance. Thus, it is definitely perfected. The Dharmakaya and the Dharmadhatu are realized as being of one nature. In the midst of action, there is nothing to be done. The ultimate view of the Great Perfection of inherent nature is realized in this way by the fortunate one. The pure realm of the three kayas is seen as pure appearances in this way. Therefore, the qualities (42) are used in inexhaustible increase. This is called "The Drop of Nectar Heart." Composed by the Brahmin teacher Manjushri Mitra. Translated, revised, and finalized by the Tibetan translator Kawa Paltseg in the presence of the Indian scholar Vimala. Complete. (Tibetan) The teaching called "The Essential Point of Intelligence" is present. Among the 114 instructions. Homage to the Bhagavan, the complete self-appearing wisdom. Freed from the laws that bind beings, Severing attachment and clinging to anything, Concentrating the essential, definitive, great secret into essence, Gathering the permission to enter the unobstructed path, The words of the glorious lama, the true essence, In the sky free from attachment and pure of defilement, The appearances that are distinct and clear, not mixed, Relying on the five wisdoms, Whoever is fortunate enough to find the meaning of the essence, The clinging of the five senses (43) naturally reverses, With the senses that are free from the four clingings and possess measure, Opening the door to the self-purified, diverse appearances, Subduing the key points free from attachment and clinging, In this way, one should look at the definitive meaning. Those fortunate ones who practice in this way, who have no doubt about the meaning of the Great Perfection of inherent nature, like wise ones entering a bird's nest, should first please the lama with various methods, abandon all the deluded actions of the world, and in a solitary place free from circumstances, diligently practice this again and again with the lama's instructions. For such a one, the diverse appearances of inherent purity are definitely self-appearing. At that time, these are great beings.

It is extremely important to recognize the ground. The appearances of the wisdom aspect are such that, initially, through the power of focusing on the lamp, the appearances of various colors of light manifest as white, (44) red, yellow, green, and blue, among others. Likewise, they also appear as twenty-five different colors. The shapes are like the form of nectar, stupas, lotuses, multi-eyed patterns, meshes, brocade tents, seals, patterned forms, nets, and half-net shapes. The modes of appearance are upright, upside down, fragmented, truncated, radiating, and circular in nature. The appearances of bindus are such that tiny bindus are like a mustard seed split into ten parts, and they appear as round, very round, curled, very curled, circular, and in the shape of circular enclosures. The numbers are double, triple, hundreds, thousands, and countless, among others. The modes of appearance are that they appear orderly, scattered, (45) mutually, as limbs, and each one appears to contain five bindus in the center. The appearances of various forms of deities are that each is single, in union with a consort, pervading in groups of five, small, large, very small, and very large. There are various peaceful and wrathful forms. If these appearances are summarized, they are pure appearances and impure appearances. When the pure reality is seen, all understanding of the way things exist naturally ceases, and the non-dual result is seen. When impure appearances are seen, all characteristics of inversion and non-inversion are naturally understood, and all philosophical views of oneself and others are understood and comprehended without confusion, just as they are. Thus, being skilled in these two appearances means being skilled in all dharmas, words, and letters. In this way, being skilled in everything of oneself and others, one becomes known as a "hero who holds the tenets" (46). This is the 'Essence of Wisdom - View,' composed by the teacher, the Brahmin Shantideva's friend. Translated and revised by the Tibetan translator, the monk Kawa Paltseg, in the presence of the Indian scholar Vimala, and finalized.
