Having attained it, the eight ways of dissolution occur simultaneously. That is, compassion dissolves into compassion, just as rays converge when the sun sets. As the appearances of the six consciousnesses dissolve into oneself, the impure delusion becomes nameless, transcending the appearance of form. Light dissolves into light, like a rainbow disappearing into the sky. The light, color, and characteristics are without distinction, becoming one taste in the expanse of emptiness, free from grasping. Body dissolves into body, like the body of a vase, with knowledge clear within. Without characteristics such as faces and hands, self-appearance is completely pure. Wisdom dissolves into wisdom, like a child entering its mother's lap, the mother of dharmata and the child of awareness blend into one. Non-duality dissolves into non-duality, like water dissolving into water, the essence is the same, without distinction. Liberation from extremes dissolves into liberation from extremes, like space dissolving into space, there is no object of empty appearance. The door of pure wisdom dissolves into essence, like a lion seizing a snow mountain, free from suffering. The door of impure samsara dissolves into the door of pure wisdom, like gathering tent ropes, dissolving into a single bindu. At this time, the Buddha's qualities and activities arise and appear immeasurably, as described in the Kalachakra Tantra. With this diligence, with the last breath, due to the scattering of the senses, only a part of the bardo of existence appears. From the pure land of the Nirmanakaya, one exhales and does not enter the city of the womb. One is born miraculously in pure lands such as Abhirati in the east, enjoying the Dharma of the Mahayana for five hundred years, and without the bardo of dharmata, one perfectly attains complete enlightenment. Moreover, in the pure land of Abhirati in the east, one sees the face of the Nirmanakaya of the Vajra family. In the pure land of Glory in the south, the Nirmanakaya of the Ratna family bestows empowerment. In the pure land of Lotus Heap in the west, the Nirmanakaya of the Padma family, Amitabha, prophesies. In the pure land of Complete Action in the north, the Nirmanakaya of the Karma family, Amoghasiddhi, exhausts the limits of karma and habitual tendencies. In that very place, one is liberated and becomes a Buddha. Ordinary beings who have not seen the door of this Dharma, from that, are scattered by karma from existence, and lose their boundary from the bardo of existence, becoming a mental body.

Since everything is complete and without any hindrance, one possesses a body; just as a bird's feather is blown by the wind in the sky, one contemplates and enters into everything swiftly and swaying. At this time, one does not see one's own form; for example, like a body in a dream. Form does not see form; for example, it appears like dust in the sunlight through a window. Here, continuing the remainder of karma, like placing a fence on a broken embankment, connecting the boundaries of habits is: those who have accumulated good karma will be born in higher realms; those who have done evil will obtain bodies in the three lower realms, etc. Such a bardo is explained with twenty points: First, the difference in form is: the time spent in the bardo is half of the previous form and half of the next form; that is also without flesh and blood, like a dream. Second, the place of birth is: (399) the mind-body is difficult to grasp and without any hindrance. Third, the difference in light is: for those with pure karma, white light shines for one yojana; for those who are impure, the light is dim, shining for one cubit. Fourth, the difference in the place of birth is: among the four places of birth, it is a miraculous birth. Fifth, the difference in the direction the head faces is: gods and humans think they are above; demigods and animals are horizontal; hell and hungry ghosts are below. Sixth, the lifespan is: in a moment of seven days and the second birth after death; it continues like that for seven weeks. Seventh, the difference in clairvoyance is: in a moment, one sees one or two three-thousand great-thousand worlds, etc.; this contaminated clairvoyance disappears due to the power of strong habits. Eighth, the size of the body is: like an eight-year-old or sixteen-year-old child, observing everything and wishing to enter. Ninth, the behavior is: after the power of the previous Dharma nature truth disappears (400), the previous habits arise, so one mainly does what one was previously attached to. Tenth, the difference in name is: from the habits of the four great elements, the previous form of a fleshy body appears. Eleventh, the difference in magical powers is: the senses are very clear, the limbs are complete and large, the consciousness stays where it is focused, there is no hindrance to anything, and one can penetrate where one thinks. Twelfth, the difference between karma and non-karma is: the strength of previous good and bad karma.
