Yes, because it is not so. The self-arisen lamp of wisdom that grasps at characteristics is that all objects are the expanse and awareness (279), appearing but without inherent existence, and that the conceptualization of grasping at the two, object and subject, is purified in its own place. Becoming the nature of pure union is not mistaken. From this very point, it says: "The wisdom of the emanation body has two aspects. It knows the nature of what is to be known as it is. It knows the meanings of how many there are." This is the meaning of that. The awareness that grasps the base is mistaken when conceptualization is combined with afflictions, and being free from the causes of those mistakes is not mistaken. In essence, this is called the all-ground. Moreover, when it abides in its own body, it generates all knowledge and abides only as self-luminous. So it is said. The base-abiding is mistaken when it is not separated from the causes of obscuration. Its essence abides in the nature of non-mistake. From then on, the nature of primordial purity, that is, possessing three wisdoms, all awareness that is not tainted by parts, abides in the essence of omniscient wisdom (280), and that wisdom also abides in subtle wisdom. So it is said. The awareness of higher seeing, the continuous stream, is that one's own awareness does not recognize its own face as the wisdom body, and conceptualizes outwardly, and that light rays, shapes, and colors, etc., are taken as objects and subjects of the meaningless six realms of beings, and that taking and rejecting, and thinking that one has done something, is mistaken. That very thing, one's own awareness becoming accustomed to self-appearance and self-liberation, is called non-mistake. As for the awareness of direct transcendence, because it is the name of having practiced and reached the limit, the state of the result of the exhaustion of mistake is non-mistake. That is, it is called abandoning Dharma, it is called exhausting Dharma, it is called transcending Dharma, it is called liberating from Dharma. So it is said. However, if conceptualization arises that both object and subject are truly existent, and conceptualization that they are not truly existent, then it is now tainted by mistaken awareness. The third, the meaning of going into practice, is that at the time of the direct perception of the awareness that sees the expanse and awareness (281), even if one examines the way of abiding of the essence of indivisibility of appearance and emptiness with the awareness that grasps at characteristics, it appears to be in accordance with everything and yet not everything, and whether the nature of mind and wisdom is one or different.

The view is to ascertain that there is nothing to point out, encompassing all aspects of reality, both ultimate and conventional. Practice must not be separated from this for even a moment. If separated, it is like a barren field. Because it is directly seen by the senses, diligence arises naturally, and one meditates in this way. If one practices without separation, then bodies and realms appear as numerous as atoms. Hearing the sound of the Mahayana Dharma, although the five sense gates are not blocked, there is no conceptualization of desire. Knowing that the appearances, desires, and formless conceptualizations of these in the mind are all delusions, wisdom that knows cause and effect arises, and not even for a moment does the mind move towards the ten non-virtues, hence it is called conduct. Because the result is that one's own mind manifestly becomes connected with wisdom, it is said to be increasing experience (282). When awareness reaches its limit, even if one looks at the aspect of clarity filling the three thousand worlds, the delusion of pervasive dualistic grasping is extinguished. Having obtained the power of whatever one desires, one is able to accomplish the benefit of all sentient beings. When all phenomena are exhausted, one is separated from all the habitual tendencies of dualistic grasping. This is the intention of all the Sugatas of the three times, so there is no practice superior to this. For that reason, the physical postures and ways of looking when practicing in this way are only the initial conditions. To strike the essence as the key point is taught as follows: "In order to point to the Dharmadhatu, drive the self-peg into all appearances." The Dharmadhatu, as taught before, is the appearance arising from internal causes and conditions. Therefore, mix all appearances such as forms with it and practice without difference. It will not work to set appearances aside and practice the radiance of the Dharmadhatu, such as the light of the sun and moon, rainbows, bindus, and body appearances, separately (283). In order to stabilize awareness, settle the essence into its natural state. This means being skilled in the five divisions of awareness, and that the Vajra Chain is now connected with the Dharmadhatu and arises flowing from within the channels. The first arising appears in the tears of the eye, and then appears in the outer sky, merely appearing in various shapes and colors. However, it itself does not change from beginning to end, and although everything changes, it is not defiled by anything. This should be understood. In order to stabilize the view, constantly fixate on the chain. This means that appearance is emptiness.
