This should be done. First, the common Dharma should be taught. First, to subdue appearances with the instruction of practicing without attachment is, from the common Dharma: Whoever practices in whatever way, they should abandon the ten non-virtues of body, speech, and mind, and practice without violating the precepts and vows; whatever they do with the attitude of not clinging to anything, all of it becomes Dharma, thereby attaining the temporary status of gods and humans and ultimately enlightenment. Second, to subdue the mind that remembers with the instruction of meditating without focus is, here, the meditation that is in accordance with the common Dharma is that the person who wishes to practice should abandon all worldly affairs in a secluded place and practice the guru's instructions. Although those previously taught are also included, here one should meditate by focusing on the mind. (Page 253) First, the body posture should be as before, and with the mind, grasp these flowing thoughts. Focus the gaze on the tip of the nose. First, do not separate from the thoughts. If accustomed, then meditate on a single Hūṃ (ཧཱུྃ, Devanāgarī: हूँ, Romanization: hūṃ, Literal meaning: Hūṃ) inside the body, and emit it from the crown of the head to the soles of the feet and all places of the body, making the body feel empty and light, and maintain this feeling. Then, penetrate all the obstructing and heavy objects of the external earth, stones, mountains, etc., making them empty and light. Then, all appearances become countless forms of Hūṃ (ཧཱུྃ, Devanāgarī: हूँ, Romanization: hūṃ, Literal meaning: Hūṃ), and the inside and outside of the body are all like shimmering mirages, and maintain this feeling. Then, just like seeking relatives and entering a path, focus on Hūṃ (ཧཱུྃ, Devanāgarī: हूँ, Romanization: hūṃ, Literal meaning: Hūṃ) on a piece of wood or a pebble in front, and then draw it back. Relying on this method, practice in all paths such as curved lines, streams, and valleys, so that when a thought arises, observe the place of its origin and where it goes, but do not find it. (Page 254) Rest the thought in a state of self-awareness and unobstructedness, and meditate by resting equally. View all subsequent thoughts as illusions or mirages. View external appearances as dreams, recognize that it is only one's own awareness, and practice, so that it is connected with Śamatha and Vipassanā, and the cause of Vipassanā is obtained. Having become accustomed to this, third, to subdue afflictions with the instruction of viewing without grasping is, to introduce: In general, all external appearances are the magical displays of the mind, that is, the transformations of thoughts.

Since the true nature of the agent is not known, the objects of perception, such as forms, sounds, smells, tastes, tactile sensations, and dharmas, appear externally, but that is not true either. The agent, such as the self, Ishvara, and Vishnu, also does not exist, but it is a mistake to cling to what was originally there as if it exists. Now, it is decided that the external objects of perception are the magical manifestations of one's own mind. Internally, the conceptualization of clinging, the awareness that clings to the generalities of dharmas and their own characteristics, the six consciousnesses (255) that are aware and aware, arise and cease in an instant, and their own nature is emptiness. From the crown of the head to the soles of the feet, even if you search, you cannot find it. The past has ceased, the future has not yet arisen, and the present awareness arises suddenly, recognizing that appearance and emptiness are inseparable. If there is no clinging to it, then that view is the intention of the Buddha. In all of the Great Perfection Mind Series, Space Series, and Instructions, there is no other teaching than that, so one should realize one's own mind as the Buddha. Appearance and emptiness are inseparable, and that is the nature of reality. From here: This cannot be grasped by words, Words can only represent a direction, Therefore, consciousness and non-consciousness are one, There is no difference between them. This "this" is devoid of experience, Like the dream of a mute person, Like the sunrise in a cloudless sky, Like a rainbow dissolving in the sky. It is devoid of base, metaphor, and reality (256), This transcends all expression. The knowable is spoken of, and by looking at and realizing it, one obtains the result, which is the inseparability of the two truths. Fourth, the instruction of the fruit of no abandonment and no attainment is to make self-awareness irreversible. Having practiced and realized in this way, what is obtained? One obtains the meaning that all dharmas are empty and selfless. How is it obtained? By remembering, one obtains non-proliferation. By whom is it obtained? It is obtained by the practitioner. The necessity of obtaining it is to obtain the fruit of the three bodies of the equality of samsara and nirvana, thereby perfecting the two benefits, which are in accordance with the common dharmas. In particular, the conduct, meditation, view, and fruit of this itself will only gradually be realized now, but one should recognize that it is different from what was said above. First, the conduct is: From here, all that appears and does not appear is an illusion, relaxing without examination, examining and
