ṇid(Seed Syllable, Tibetan: ཉིད, Sanskrit Devanagari: णिद, Sanskrit Romanized: ṇid, Literal Chinese Meaning: ཉིད)! The appearance in the realm of the senses is very wonderful! Speak these words, and also explain the meaning of these words. Then, in order to let the meaning of the Great Perfection that transcends expression dwell in the minds of the fortunate ones, no object whatsoever has any inherent nature. Invisible, lifeless, without essence, meaningless, without words, without letters (103), without sound, without designation. Thus, the way things exist is determined to be inexpressible. The meaning of the words, the meaning of inexpressibility, should be generated in the mind. If even a little certainty is not generated, in order to be free from attachment to samsara, all phenomena should be shown with many examples, such as all dharmas are like dreams, like illusions, like cities of gandharvas, like lightning in the sky, like spinning wheels, and so on. By the meaning of this, having freed oneself from attachment to samsara, there is a need to enter into a higher meaning. Again, in order to generate certainty in the higher dharmas, and in order to be free from desires, this fault of attachment to samsara should also be shown: Samsara is like a water-extracting tool, like a snake entering a bamboo tube, like a bird being crushed, like a wild animal caught in a net (104), like a ship with a broken rope in the outer ocean, like sinking into a great swamp that is difficult to cross, like a moth entering a burning flame, like losing one's way in a terrifying pass, like being caught in the midst of a man-killing executioner, and so on, shown with many examples. Thus, having remembered, in order to be free from desires, these should also be shown: Desire is like pouring hot water into a thirsty person, like a poisonous leaf, like being entangled by a poisonous snake, like the edge of a razor, like the lust of a woman, and so on, shown with metaphors from many aspects. Then, let the three doors of body, speech, and mind meditate for a moment in the emptiness of the Great Perfection. In order to encourage the meaning with symbols, these words should also be spoken: All dharmas are empty and without self, grasping at the characteristics of objects is entirely mistaken, the

The very nature of the Dharmadhatu (105), in being free from elaboration, to follow after elaboration due to words is truly confusing. In the self-aware wisdom free from attachment, this mind of clinging desire is truly confusing. When the wisdom of the essential meaning naturally arises, to regard it as arising from others, striving and practicing, is truly confusing. Since the nature of mind transcends the two, birth and death, to grasp at the two, arising and ceasing, is truly confusing. Since the fruit is naturally complete and free from aspiration, to rely on discriminating awareness and time is truly confusing. In the miraculous display where all happiness and suffering are equal, to view happiness and suffering as two is truly confusing. Since Kuntuzangpo abides within oneself, to seek a yidam elsewhere is truly confusing. Since one's own being is primordially enlightened, to grasp at the three lower realms is truly confusing. When the play of samsara and the lower realms is wisdom's arising, to desire perfect Buddhahood is truly confusing. Since the five poisons are unabandoned and naturally arising as great, to grasp at them as the five afflictions is truly confusing. When the deluded (106) appearances are the Dharmakaya naturally abiding, to grasp at phenomena as self is truly confusing. When the nature of the nine vehicles arises, to grasp at the tenets of each is truly confusing. With these words, generate joy and teach. Then, with various distinctions of sound, offer the torma to the assembly of dakinis. In order to increase enjoyment, also hold a tsok feast. The student should offer the most cherished wealth to the lama and please him. Then, the master should teach the instructions on unborn nature and make one recognize one's own mind. Teach the samadhis that rely on speech and have them meditate. This is called the Empowerment Without Elaboration, the Arrangement of Jewels. Completed by the great master, the emanation Garab Dorje. Gya Gya Gya! The essential letters of the Empowerment Without Elaboration, the Arrangement of Jewels, the sacred key is present. Among the forty-four instructions. ༈ Homage to the Bhagavan (107)! Homage to the Great Vajradhara who reveals the hidden! Furthermore, the very letter of the hidden essence, in the Empowerment Without Elaboration, the Arrangement of Jewels, the words that are hidden and secret, confused and twisted, with this black letter that reveals the hidden supreme clarity, accomplishing and quickly producing the fruit, the letter that strikes the essential point of self-nature, should be practiced by those who have fortune. Those who have fortune desire to complete the four empowerments.
