He gave the complete transmission of the Tantras and instructions, including "Gechan" and "Without Letters," for three months. Furthermore, upon hearing of someone who claimed to be the nephew of Yangwenpa, he summoned him and had him memorize all the Red Lord of Hosts (Tshogs bdag dmar po), including the Monkey-Faced Lady Lord of Hosts. He said that to study, one should pray to these, and then gave the complete transmission, permission, and blessings of White Achala, the Blue One Kneeling, Manjushri Arapachana (འཇམ་དབྱངས་ཨ་ར་པ་ཙ་ན།，梵文天城体：अ र प च न，梵文罗马拟音：arapachana，汉语字面意思：无垢语), Lion of Speech, Vajravarahi, and Prajna Illuminating. Furthermore, he gave the King-style Great Compassionate One and all the Great Compassionate One practices, Orgyen Rinpoche Sangye Nyamjor (Guru Rinpoche's Union with Buddha), and the instructions on the Mind Section practices, including Kunjed Gyalpo. (626) Furthermore, he had him memorize all the Guru's Mind Accomplishment Empowerment, Dzogchen Samantabhadra's Self-Liberation, and so on. He arrived at Samye Monastery with his father. That spring, in Gyal, below the hermitage of the accomplished Namkhai Nyingpo, he prayed to Holy Saraswati for three months. He had a dream-like sign of blessing. To complete the recitation count, he performed a fire puja on the twenty-ninth day. In the clear sky, a rainbow appeared above the fire puja like a canopy. At that time, Lama Shakya Rinchenpa was present and said it was an auspicious sign. From then on, he took it very much to heart. In general, at that time, there was the dream-like sign, and the thought of all sentient beings as parents, and compassion arose spontaneously. That summer, he met Gyalsé Rinpoche Thogme and had him memorize the teachings on the Great Vehicle Mind Training (627), the teachings on the Three Essentials of the Heart, and all the transmissions of the generation stage and completion stage. At that time, strong love, compassion, and renunciation arose, and in his presence, he vowed not to drink alcohol, to protect Dorje Nakpo, not to abandon sentient beings, and in short, he offered many vows, including the subtle vows of the three doors of body, speech, and mind, so that the impermanent thought arose in his mind, and the attachment was forcibly shortened.
