Homage! Offering the relics, even at the transition of day and night. The sounds of dakinis, cymbals, flutes, And divine musical instruments, accompanied by the appearance of five-colored light. I respectfully bow to the wondrous and towering cloud of offerings. When the relics are burned by flames, The appearance of five-colored light pervades the sky, (495) All beings abide in the state of non-conceptual meditation. I respectfully bow to the wondrous appearance that pervades. At that time, a melodious sound resounds in the sky, At the peak of the seasonal clouds, a multitude of rays of light appear, The expanse of the sky is pervaded, especially the western direction is clear. I respectfully bow to the extreme agitation of beings' minds. From the increase of the relics of skillful means, The skull abides perfectly in the mandala of five-colored light, In the expanse of self-arisen five-colored light. I respectfully bow to that which has become a wondrous support. Even when building a stupa of cymbal-shaped relics, The umbrella of five-colored light and the supreme banner of victory, In the expanse of the sky, it becomes beautiful due to its appearance. I respectfully bow to that which has become a field of merit. The conduct of the holy ones is inconceivable, As long as existence lasts, so long does benefit and happiness last, This great activity is boundless, Thinking like this, it also transcends the realm of thought. Sometimes they show passing away, and sometimes they show birth, Sometimes they abide in samadhi, and sometimes they purify the fields, Sometimes they accomplish benefit, and sometimes they subdue the maras (496). Without moving from the dharmadhatu, the emanations are continuous. Therefore, we meaningful beings, From the place of samsara to the edge of the peaceful forest, Will surely be swiftly guided by his compassion, We constantly pray with reverence at all times. Having slightly encountered this holy one, Those beings who merely hear his voice and see his face, Cut off the lower realms and attain the path of liberation and enlightenment. Such qualities and so on cannot be fully expressed in words. To the guru, the leader of beings including the gods, I and all others respectfully bow, With clouds of samadhi filling the boundless expanse of the sky, Filling the appearance, I make the supreme cloud of offerings. Whatever sins of body, speech, and mind there may be, I pray that you eliminate them with the rays of compassion. However many fires of karma and afflictions there are, I pray that you pacify them with the water of wisdom. From now until reaching the essence of enlightenment, You extend your hand with the compassion of liberation, The suffering of samsara and the lower realms will not arise, The lesser vehicle (497)

Please bless and protect us! Always rely on the virtuous spiritual friend, complete the ground and path of clear light wisdom, may we attain the peace of enlightenment! Wherever we are born, may we never be separated from you, with the same conduct, may we accomplish the great task of benefiting others! With your compassionate and supreme eyes, always watch over us, eliminate all faults, perfectly accomplish all goodness, may all wishes be fulfilled! Please be our refuge and protector, our helper! Please be our protector, friend, and guide! Please light the lamp of wisdom and clear light! Please bless us without separation! Thus, with the strength of my devotion, I sincerely pray, may this virtue lead me and all beings to attain the state of immortality and freedom from sorrow! When the venerable Guru Kumaraja passed away (498), the thousand-petaled lotus of supplication was offered with a grieving heart and lamenting voice. This is composed by the omniscient Lord of Speech, who possesses unwavering faith in the venerable Guru and is well-versed in the wisdom arising from hearing, contemplating, and meditating on the vast scriptures of the Sugata. Thus, it is complete. Auspicious! All auspiciousness! (499) The biography of Omniscient Vimalamitra, "Seeing is Meaningful," is respectfully recorded here. (500) Om Swasti Sarva Mangala Siddhi Phala Ho! Titled "Guru's Biography: Seeing is Meaningful." I prostrate to the venerable Gurus of the three lineages! He initially generated the mind for the benefit of beings, in the middle, he carried great burdens on his shoulders countless times, and finally manifested enlightenment and became a Buddha, like the son of a goddess born in Lumbini Garden. This supreme being also follows in his footsteps, accumulating merit for many kalpas (Sanskrit, kalpa, an extremely long unit of time) in the past (501), in the middle, his armor of diligence is boundless, and finally, he accomplishes the two benefits and bows with his head. The biography of the great master Vimalamitra, like the edge of the sky and the expanse of the ocean, is difficult to fathom with ordinary wisdom, but it is briefly described to remember his kindness and benefit future generations. Just as in a garden where lotuses bloom, the seven horses (sun) rise, increasing the joy of the bees, my
