Ro! By understanding the meaning of the Sambhogakaya without clinging to various appearances, beings will become proficient in the Buddha's instructions. By understanding the meaning of the Dharmakaya completely without abandoning it, one will become proficient in the lineage of the Guru's instructions. In later times, if there is no lineage of the Buddha's body's meaning, one will not be liberated from the cycle of ordinary existence. If there is no lineage of the meaning of speech, one will not be liberated from the cycle of speech. If there is no lineage of the meaning of mind, one will not be liberated from the cycle of mind. So, to whom did the lineage of body, speech, and mind of all the Buddhas, the direct transmission of the body, descend? From the Dharmakaya above, the Sambhogakaya appeared. From that very (457), the Nirmanakaya Vajradhara appeared. From the luminous aspect of the Sambhogakaya, compassion, the force of its own nature, stirred spontaneously. From abiding in the inexhaustible nature, it was offered as the very arising of the wind of wisdom. From that, propelled by the wind that arises as wisdom, both Samsara and Nirvana arose. Therein, Samsara is regarded as the skillful means of the Tamer, the nature of the Tamer of those to be tamed. Samsara is regarded as the wisdom mother who liberates. From the union of these two, the cause symbolizes the proximity of Samsara. By focusing on the object of focus, the boundary is gathered by the cause of the possessor. By the immediate cause, Samsara is ripened. From that, just as the container of the four elements, called "substantial grasping," arises, sentient beings to be tamed do not exist as substantial entities. From the part of the seed of the elements, from the place initially called the Formless Realm, the latent tendencies of mind-emptiness (458) arise. The sphere of infinite space arises. Without focusing even on just that, the sphere of nothing at all arises. From the aspect of the mind sphere, only the mind of the senses arises. That is also because of slightly not discriminating, slightly not acting and not grasping, the sphere of slightly nothing arises. All of those are just consciousness; apart from that, there is no external object. Therefore, the sphere of infinite consciousness arises, and mind and the power of mind always arise. That also, like space, is emptiness, holding vastness with color, ripening the senses into sentient beings. Therefore, it distinguishes lineages with particular clarity.

Thereafter, arising in the distinction of the Form Realm, it is not present in the body of the gross four elements, but dwells purely in the body of illuminating light like the moon in water. From this, the manifestation of the distinguished body arises from the combination of desire and mind, and the combination of form and appearance. Maturing in the Desire Realm, at this time, the distinction between gods and humans is indistinguishable. The emanation body in the first eon of those to be tamed is called "Joyful Garden Stacked Pavilion." Those beings born there can also live for countless years. At the time of the Able One, the four elements are not actually present. Only from that as the support of focus, the minds of those to be tamed arise from the inert four elements. As the desire of their nature stirs, the latent four elements arise. The bliss of latent fire arises. As the bliss of latent wind arises and desire stirs, the inherent heat and moisture of the latent four elements combine. From the essence of the elements, the nature of light, like dew on a precious tree, the sons of the gods, Sun Radiant and Moon Immaculate, are born as emanations. (460) Although possessing form and faculties, the four elements are not actually present. To tame those sentient beings to be tamed, that emanation body, possessing three ways of seeing: In the place of Joyful Garden Stacked Pavilion, seeing with the eye of taming appearances, they remember the aspiration of their previous generation of mind. In the place of birth, possessing a thousand-petaled lotus flower, seeing with the eye of knowing all aspects, they remember the power of the pure aspiration of their previous father and mother. To the two sons of the gods to be tamed, seeing with the eye of taming beings, they remember the power of the aspiration of their previous abode and their own teacher. The essence of the lotus water's heart, held by the heat of the fire element, the teacher Vajradhara himself, in the calyx of a thousand-petaled lotus flower, rises as a beautiful eight-year-old child, white in color, blazing in nature, as a sign of being free from the defilement of afflictions, white in color and radiant, descends as an emanation. At that time, the retinue is on each lotus petal, in accordance with the causal nature of the Buddha himself.
