Adorned with a canopy and necklace, it is the inseparability of the two, the expanse and wisdom, constantly inseparable, manifesting the adornment of the three bodies. The precious vase, complete with measurements, is the unity of emptiness and the expanse. Inside, two-thirds are filled with the five fragrances, five grains, five precious substances, and five essences, fulfilling all desired meanings. The number three is to purify the obscurations of body, speech, and mind. Hanging a mirror on the vase is to enjoy the bindu of completely pure wisdom. Adorning with peacock feathers is to make the lamp of the bindu appear as radiance (258). Hanging a mansel is the nature of the Dharma, the immaculate qualities of the wise. Then, the disciple bathes and puts on new, immaculate clothes to be free from the stains of impurity. Praying to the lama is necessary to receive blessings. Then, offering the mandala is to fulfill all desired meanings. Offering by mentally transforming the three thousand worlds into jewels and the five desirable qualities is to surely bestow the qualities of the Buddha. The disciple stands with palms joined at the heart, which is to plant the seed of Dharma. In order to enter the lama's mind, reciting verses from the front is to place the lama's energy upon oneself. Ema is calling with special speech, 'son born from the heart.' Be sure to ascertain that you belong to the good lineage of the Great Perfection. Entering the good fortune of secret mantra, thereby purifying the sins of body, speech, and mind, becoming accomplished in body (259), speech, mind, qualities, and activities, for the benefit of oneself and others, one will become known as a great bodhisattva, and so on. Thus, the bliss of the physical body, the bliss of clear speech, and the bliss of the empty mind are the basis for a Bodhisattva, and from now on, the promise is given that you will not turn back. Now, the act of pressing and mixing is entrusting to the lama's mind, and instructing to meditate on the mind being completely surrounded by the garland of Ali and Kali. At this time, the lama should also recite Ali and Kali. The lama presses the pulse of the eye socket and presses the depression in front of the right ear with the thumb, thereby stopping the natural sound of the ear's wind, which is to lead to bliss.

It is so. At that time, one should also sing and dance with joy. Then, the actual empowerment is: After the teacher's work is completed, the second is the mind empowerment: Among the three, body, speech, and mind, empowerment of speech is especially important. (260) The attire is without clothes: Nakedness is a sign of being free from the signs of intelligence. Facing west is a sign of the exhaustion of afflictions. The guru applies a drop of sandalwood, camphor, and bodhicitta mixed on the crown of the head, making the body vajra and attaining enlightenment. Reciting Om (藏文:ཨོཾ,梵文天城体:ओ,梵文罗马拟音:oṃ,汉语字面意思:嗡) with wrath in speech, places power in the body. Applying the same drop to the speech makes the speech vajra and attains enlightenment. Reciting the syllable Ah (藏文:ཨཱ,梵文天城体:आ,梵文罗马拟音:ā,汉语字面意思:阿) of speech places the power of speech. Making a drop in the heart makes the mind vajra and attains enlightenment. Reciting the syllable Hum (藏文:ཧཱུྃ,梵文天城体:हुँ,梵文罗马拟音:hūṃ,汉语字面意思:吽) of the mind is the key to placing power in the mind. The guru and the disciple recite the three fiercely, and the disciple's sleep and pulse are blocked: it is to abide in the meaning of equality. At this time, it is distinguished by the signs of the disciple's body trembling, moving, and the mind being clear. Then, when the breast pulse is blocked, the experience of bliss naturally abides. At this time, meditate by sealing emptiness. Then, relying on the vase (261), the empowerment of emptiness, free from thought, is shown: The vase is the realm of emptiness: the disciple's body is visualized as emptiness. It fulfills the common and special desires. The guru is inexpressible in all dharmas. Thus, the verses are absorbed and the disciple's mind is clarified. In order to place power on the disciple's speech: The guru sings the vajra song three times: it cuts off the attachment to the three realms of samsara. Also, the drum, conch, cymbals, bell, sound, and all the differences of sound should be sounded in the ear holes to purify the impure karma. It will surely become the melody of enlightenment. Then, the causes for obtaining empowerment are shown by empowering with verses: These words, which express only certainty, should be spoken because their meaning arises in an instant. E (藏文:ཨེ,梵文天城体:ए,梵文罗马拟音:e,汉语字面意思:诶) is the basis for the complete purity of the three bodies (262). Ma (藏文:མ,梵文天城体:म,梵文罗马拟音:ma,汉语字面意思:玛) means liberation from artificiality.
