Also, it is not established. For example, just as clouds, rain, mist, constellations, and stars in the sky, which appear to exist and appear not to exist, are not difficult great illusions, memories, thoughts, and various movements also arise from the mind. Whether good or bad, one does not cling to anyone, and whether beneficial or harmful, nothing is established. Therefore, if the wisdom that arises from ignorance is mistaken, then it does not exist, and it is equal to non-existence. There is no such thing as a Buddha apart from sentient beings. Similarly, the connection between samsara and nirvana (236) appears in this way. This is the fourth meaning. Now, the fifth is to explain the meaning of non-acceptance and rejection, including the introduction: The key to vanishing is that it first arises from nothingness, and if one does not ultimately recognize nothingness, one cannot become wise. No collection of thoughts can be abandoned by abandoning them. Therefore, by understanding the meaning of nothingness, there is nothing to abandon and nothing to acquire, which is called the meaning of Dzogchen. If a person has knowledge from the natural state of reality, and introduces the former and latter of the natural state of reality, which includes the former and latter of appearances, and the former and latter of knowledge, and the former and latter of thoughts, etc., to his own mind, then once he recognizes this, memories and thoughts will naturally vanish, and the person who vanishes from the natural state will also become a Buddha in the same way. This is the fifth meaning. Now, the sixth is to explain, with an example, that one does not regress in the three realms: One does not rely on the dharma that connects body and mind, (237) and the former and latter thoughts do not mix, like the clouds in the sky. Just as it is impossible for the sky and clouds to have a prior or subsequent connection, the clouds will not return after they naturally vanish. Similarly, the key to vanishing is that it is not established whether it exists or not, O wise one! Now there is no cause for regression in the three realms, so the conditions naturally vanish. Since there is no connection between body and mind, the error has been exhausted, so one realizes that there is no connection between samsara and nirvana. If there is regression, then things will appear like this and become clear, believing that the previous is not the present. Where does this come from? Because of the key that the nature of mind has never arisen in the beginning, the present thoughts are sudden, so they will naturally vanish in just a moment. Afterwards, because of the key to the previous vanishing, it is impossible for it not to be sudden, so for what has vanished, there is no trace left, so neither benefit nor harm is established. That
