Then, the size is like ten horse tail hairs split apart, the color is blue, and it appears to be coming and going. It arises from the edge of the citta. The path of these appears from the eyes. Now, I will show how the wisdom of awareness exists within oneself. That great wisdom of awareness relies on one's own skandha of form, and its place is in the center of the heart. How is that? It is called the intention of Samantabhadra's gau joint union. In the eight-petaled heart treasure, in the place where the light of wisdom and rainbows gather, the peaceful deities, as small as mustard seeds, each abide with their own light. That is the gathering place of the father and mother deities. Moreover, when these deities move, the sound of "Ig" (Tibetan: ཨིག) arises. That is the way the light and deities abide. The lineage of awareness, the intention of clear self-knowing, has been abiding since the beginning (Tibetan: ཡེ་ཐོག་) (22). The degree of subtlety is like a knot tied in a horse tail hair. It is difficult to grasp and accompanied by coming and going. It goes in the direction the eyes move. Grasp it, and with the view of the Dharmakaya, upwards, at the eyebrow, unite the eyes and consciousness into one channel and grasp it. Once grasped, it will appear in the vision of the Dharmadhatu. Meditate on the inseparability of these two. Because empty awareness appears in empty space, this is called the essence being self-purified and abiding in an empty place. This is called the appearance of emptiness from the beginning, liberation in emptiness. Because awareness clearly arises in an empty place, clarity and emptiness are inseparable, and appearance is self-purified. This is called the intention of pure union. The lineage of awareness is called the king of clear self-knowing, and it has been abiding since the beginning. There is no difference in the way it abides, inseparable from the appearance of enlightenment. The way of appearance (23) is constantly opened. The direct awareness of its senses is called awareness that is thorough, because awareness itself can be experienced. If you combine with your own essence, the essence is awareness, that is, you know yourself, and it abides in the way of appearing as self-nature. Therefore, it appears as body, wisdom, light, and bindu. Because compassion manifests, the Dharmadhatu, awareness, objects, and senses are all self-appearing. If you combine with your own dwelling place, the essence in the citta is the peaceful deity.

Five, in the conch house, the five wrathful deities reside in the form of yab-yum. The nature is at the root place, existing as bindus and subtle bindus. The five lights of compassion abide clearly. The essence is emptiness, the nature is luminosity, and compassion is unceasing. (Tibetan, Devanagari, Romanized Sanskrit, Literal Chinese meaning). When the eyes meet the sky, the realm and the peg are struck; this is the key to immutability. When the sky and awareness are recognized, one's own face is struck; this is the key to knowing awareness itself as vipashyana (24). That itself is without separation, and the experience of the spontaneous exhaustion of the three kayas arises. (Tibetan, Devanagari, Romanized Sanskrit, Literal Chinese meaning). Such a person who practices in this way, through the power of habituation, does not need to be shown the key, which is that the nature of reality is free from elaboration. (Tibetan, Devanagari, Romanized Sanskrit, Literal Chinese meaning). No expression can reach the top. The abiding of awareness is that awareness is not defiled by conceptual thought; because it is awareness that is not interrupted in anything, it exists in appearance and emptiness. (Tibetan, Devanagari, Romanized Sanskrit, Literal Chinese meaning). To strive in this is only to abide in the continuous stream of awareness itself. In order to stabilize in the expanse, drive one's own peg into all appearances. In order to stabilize awareness, settle into the essence itself. In order to stabilize the view, constantly focus on the continuous stream. In order to stabilize knowledge, imprison awareness in the expanse. In order to stabilize the body, thoroughly train in all postures. In order to stabilize speech, always remain like a mute (25). In order to stabilize the mind, always look at the continuous stream. In order to cut off all delusions of appearance, become accustomed to emptiness. A person who practices in this way is close to the Buddhas. Therefore, one should become accustomed to this. (Tibetan, Devanagari, Romanized Sanskrit, Literal Chinese meaning). When the bindus at the tip of the continuous stream appear like three interconnected bowls, one gains mastery over a third of reality, which is the key to not entering the womb. When a single deity appears in each bindu, the peg of the expanse of awareness is struck. When five deities appear in each bindu, attachment to the three kayas is cut off. This is the key to making the three kayas the path. Unconceptual awareness, objects, light, palaces, and half-bodies appear within the bindus. (Tibetan, Devanagari, Romanized Sanskrit, Literal Chinese meaning). When one's own body does not appear, but occasionally fingers of light appear, the imputation of the dharmakaya is cut off on the path. When five deities appear in the lamp of empty bindus, it is the sambhogakaya.
