It is to inhale a little air inside. Because no cause or condition is established in the mind, there is no karma. Because the obscuration of afflictions clinging to self is exhausted. This is called a tenet that does not arise from scripture. What is the basis, the nature of things? It arises from not understanding the wheel of mind, thoughts, and sudden gatherings. The key to that is that throwing sudden awareness into the sky is the key. Because the mind has no place to come from in the beginning, nor a place to go. (144) Who is the object of the mind entering into various thoughts? It arises from not recognizing the nature of appearance, signs, and self-liberation. The key to that is to place any change on top of any appearance. Therefore, this is called the Dharmakaya that does not arise from the alaya. Because the mind's thoughts naturally disappear, there is no place to wander anywhere. This is called the view and meditation that does not arise from oral instructions. Therefore, because the abodes of the six realms are empty, the path of the movement of air is exhausted. What is the truth of ultimate truth and conventional truth? It arises from knowing that the two are without self-nature and liberated. The key to that is to observe the traces of illusion and dreams. Therefore, this is called the experience that does not arise from habit. In this way, the first content is shown with proof, characteristics, and reasons. Now, the second goal, the summary of the four points, the second content, viewing birth and death as the basis of delusion, showing its natural emptiness. Birth is a sudden thought. Death is that (145) itself disappears where it disappears, without a trace. Death is not cutting off that trace, keeping it as it is, and calculating awareness. Death is the exhaustion of thoughts where they are exhausted, so karma and afflictions disappear. Disappearance is the merging of thoughts into the dharmadhatu, so the thoughts of the end cease. Clinging to things as self-nature is empty. Coarse thoughts gradually disappear, so the inverted awareness does not appear. In this way, the second content is shown, through observing birth and death, the basis of delusion is naturally empty. Now, the third content, relying on the key of air, shows the method of making thoughts disappear. The air consciousness is thrown into the sky, so the appearance of knowing the inverted awareness.

This is about concluding the words of debate. The appearance of wisdom transcends the antidote of self-born wisdom. Relaxing the body and speech allows one to control half of the wind. (146) Relaxing the mind allows one to find the calmness of the wind. When delusion ceases at the same moment, the basis of Dharma-nature is vast. Therefore, if the mind is not fabricated, it is clear, just as water is naturally clear when it is not turbid. To the extent that Dharma-nature appears, it is vast, because one is liberated by relying on anything. The binding of coarse thoughts arises from the wind and mind being exhaled and thrown out from the mouth. Also, because the Dharma-nature of external objects is clear, all discriminations vanish at the same moment, which is called Dharma-nature dissolving into its own essence. In this way, when discriminations vanish, memory naturally dissipates, which is Dharma-nature dissolving into the primordial state, that is, memory being cut off by the movement of the wind. This concludes the third point, showing the method of thoughts dissolving by relying on the key point of the wind. Now is the fourth point, showing how to completely cut off the wrong paths of Dharma that harm the mind through the fabrications of philosophical tenets. Wanting the body and mind to be comfortable, one binds the movement of the mind with the Dharma of thoughts. (147) There is no benefit to realizing Dharma-nature. That is merely an accumulation of thoughts, therefore it is not a Dharma that is separate from action. Using the philosophical tenet of emptiness to expand the mind, in order to protect the realm of one's own words, this knowledge harms the Dharma words of others, and there is no benefit other than creating differences. Therefore, the essential instruction for liberating Dharma-nature at the crucial point is that liberation comes simply through knowing. Also, some praise those who meditate with intellect without understanding the mind, they also fabricate the body, and focus on breathing, resting in the naturally clear state of mind, and think that experiencing self-awareness is happiness. This actually leads them to enter the formless realm within samsara, that is, to enter the birth place of infinite consciousness, and is not a Dharma that liberates from the three realms. Therefore, grasping the key point of the great unfabricated natural state cuts off the cycle of illusory appearances. Also, some meditators who strive to find objects place the body (148) in the lotus posture, block the outward flow of wind, press it inside the body and meditate, and through thoughts they identify the emptiness characteristic of their own mind, and engage in grasping and
