Because its place is naturally arising, various different conceptualizations empty themselves, therefore it is not corrected by an antidote. Therefore, since there is no place for the breath to go out, it is called the movement of self-liberation. There is no place for the breath to accumulate when it goes inward, because the basis of the breath-mind is empty. This is the first content of the second general meaning, which explains that relying on the time when conceptualizations disappear, the nature of reality is determined. Now, the second content is to look at the place where the mind arises by the key of separating object and mind (130), which is to explain that by means of teachings and metaphors, relying on what has been taught above, the three realms of samsara are completely shaken, and the key to the self-liberation of the three existences is shown. Therefore, if the mind is not corrected by its own nature, it will be clear, and if the water is not turbid, it will be clear. In this way, liberation comes from merely loosening, and abiding comes from abiding in one's own state. There is no other way except liberation from abiding in one's own state. This loosening also arises from the key taught when the body and mind were previously separated. Therefore, for a person who understands the key, the basis of the body is empty, and the mind does not abide there. Merely loosening the body and mind arises from the key. This is the second content, which repeatedly explains the place where the mind arises by the key of separating the body and mind. Now, the third content is to show that the power of habituation of the mind does not abide (131) by the key of not abiding in previous and future lives. The body follows and uses, and the mind becomes the support of emptiness. The key to the exhaustion and disappearance of the basis of the breath's coming and going in the relationship between the two is that it arises from the previous throwing of the breath into the sky. Therefore, the previous life naturally ceases, and it does not abide there now. For the karma of future lives, it does not abide in conceptualization, and because the place of reversal and the source are confused, it is called rootless and cut off. Therefore, knowing that these different conceptualizations are not true, and knowing that everything is a false appearance, such a person is said to not abide in the three realms. Therefore, liberation comes from merely knowing this key, and there is no need to rely on habituation to continue. Moreover, this is not other-power, but relying on self-power, one will be liberated from the three realms simultaneously in an instant. This is the third content, which shows the power of habituation of the mind by the key of not abiding in previous and future lives.

Having shown liberation without relying on a lama, now is the fourth branch meaning, showing the time when the basis for reverting in the three realms (132) is made empty by the key point of wind. That is, because the basis is exhausted, the support of samsara vanishes, and sudden thoughts naturally disappear, the movement is completely purified. Because it cuts off movement, awareness, and memory, it is a razor. That is, between the earlier and later movements, blowing and driving from the mouth of the wind, emptiness in the place of emptiness, vanishing in the place of vanishing, separated from thoughts, not knowing the boundary between samsara and nirvana. Because memory vanishes into its source, it is called a yogi who adorns the seat of unborn. That is, if given instruction, give instruction between the earlier and later appearances and awareness. Because between those two, the nature of reality is seen, including the non-existence of mind itself, the karma and afflictions that cause reversion in the three realms are exhausted. Because that itself is exhausted, the cause of samsara, karma and habitual patterns, the result, the connections of various sufferings are completely liberated, not remaining at the edge and being interrupted. The basis appearance is the delusion of existence, and the path of non-existence, between the natural cessation of causes and conditions is emptiness, so the connection between samsara and nirvana is severed. (133) These explain the common meaning of the second object of mind, the second seeking the source of mind, thereby explaining the exhaustion of the root of samsara, and explaining it in four inner meanings. Now is the third common meaning, examining the connection between body and mind, especially explaining that the nature of reality is established through the knowledge of faults and virtues. Explaining through three branch meanings, the first is cutting off the wrong path of the ground and path, establishing the root of mind. If one wants to go, etc., it is explained that if one wants to rely on the ground and path to reach the other shore, the vehicle will be bound by it again, and will revolve again, because the previous ground, the karmic connection of the cause and effect of samsara, revolves again and again, there is no other way, so there is no need for the vehicle that focuses on the ground and path. That is, because one abides on the previous ground, one cannot enter others. Therefore, the thoughts of the mind of dharma with desire (134) are led to various places, becoming the impure beings in the bad situation of body, speech, and mind, there is no other place to go except to hold the root of the three realms of samsara. By what reason does it hold? Because one's own mind exists or not
