By doing this now, all the outflows of afflictions and so on will be exhausted. "Pleasing to the ear" means that the ear faculty is not inverted or distorted, and the meaning of the words and phrases is understood without addition or subtraction; the meaning is based on one's own continuum, and ultimately cuts off the fabrication of words and phrases. The intention of the lineage is that from the perfectly enlightened Buddha, the teacher Dharmakaya, up to the present yogi, me, the words and phrases have no addition or subtraction, and the wording is not mistaken; without adding or subtracting with the words of ordinary people, from the beginning, without more or less, one passed on to another, for example: even if a very exquisite golden patra (578) is passed on in the hands of many people, it itself has no addition or subtraction, just like it finally falls into the hands of one person, the lineage of words has no impurities mixed in; just like pouring from a full vase into a full vase, it is filled without addition or subtraction, just like from Buddha to the vidyadhara and the present yogi, the intention is the same; because it can be compared without addition or subtraction, therefore, this is a sign that the oral instruction is extremely profound. So, to whom was such a great secret definitive oral instruction transmitted? At that time, in the city of Serkyai in India, there was a king named Little Indrabodhi, who was an incarnation of the protector Maitreya, and had five hundred panditas as his objects of offering; among them, there was one who was learned and accomplished, Vimalamitra, who manifested as a rainbow body, and served as a special object of offering for sixty years. At that time, in Tibet, there was a king, an incarnation of the Bodhisattva Manjushri, named Trisong Detsen (579), who built the spontaneously accomplished palace of glorious Samye, and made the sacred Dharma flourish and spread; his object of offering was named Nyang Tingdzin Zangpo, who remained in single-pointed shamatha for seven years and seven months; with pure flesh eyes, he saw the four continents at the same time; the great Nyang Ban said to the king: O King, in the city of Serkyai in India, there is a king named Indrabodhi, who has five hundred panditas as his objects of offering; from among them, invite one who is proficient in the secret mantra of the result, and spread the teachings of the secret mantra in the kingdom of Tibet,

He said, "I will do it." The king was very pleased and said, "So be it." At that time, in the kingdom of Tibet, there were two intelligent translators, one was Kawa Loten from Kawa in Uru Phenpo of Ü-Tsang, and Kawa Pel Tsek, the son of Droza Dorje Cham (580), and the other was Chokro Gyaljung from Lhashap Dargong, and Chokro Luje Tsen, the son of Droza Tsema. The two of them were summoned together to Li, and offered wine. The king, wearing a precious hat, gave the order: "Hey, two talented young men, you have gained the power to use magical abilities. In order to spread the profound Fruition Secret Teachings in our kingdom of Tibet, in the city of Shravasti in India, there is a king named Indrabhuti, who has five hundred panditas in his place of offering. Go to him and offer these seven golden platters, offer these nine bushels of gold dust. This is a gift from the king of Tibet, please send a pandita who is an expert in the Fruition Secret Teachings as a return gift." The king commanded in this way. The two translators accepted the king's command and went to India. They paid homage to King Indrabhuti, offered the previous golden platters and gold dust, and conveyed the previous message. The king was very pleased and said, "The two Tibetan Bodhisattvas please stay in this pavilion." When the panditas finished their activities and came out for a meal, the king said, "Great scholars, the king of Tibet has sent me a very precious gift, as a return gift, please send a pandita who is an expert in the Fruition Secret Teachings." Master Buddha Guhya said, "Where is the gift-giver who said such a thing? Bring him here." The king brought them. The two translators saw the signs and marks of Vimala's body and developed great admiration. When they looked up, they saw Vimala at the same time. When looking down, he also recognized them from the sand, and then stood up and uttered the sound "Gha Gha Pa Ri." The two translators had two ways of understanding this word (58
