Though not within my power, I rely on the successive previous masters and the kind lamas, as well as the tantras, oral transmissions, instructions, intentions, and the words themselves, following the order of their respective desires. Relying on the words, regarding the profound meaning, whatever (53) does not contradict it and is not understood by everyone, I gather the essence of the treatises desired by each, and explain it for the sake of those who are free from the mind of samsara. Even beyond the five methods of abiding in the natural state, the unlabored, spontaneously present wisdom, a state without fabrication, the self-appearance free from cause and condition, the very nature without obscuration, effortless and unique, unmade by anyone, the primordial perfection, the heart essence, enjoy the realm of spontaneous accomplishment. That illusory water arises from form, the heart essence of hundreds, and the examination exhausts the mind. The path of unobscured, naturally settled, and uncorrupted, without seeing, without equal, is the very substance of all wisdom. Grasping at the realm of delusion, therefore, is the very nature of independence. In the realm of self-nature, without obstruction, is the trace of the heart essence. Do not examine the realm of emptiness, but settle in its own place and be liberated. That which is without limit is the place of birth of the superiors. The confidence to enter is not reached by the inferiors. Abiding and unmoving, it is a realm that is not a fault from the beginning. The three, attainment, vision, and liberation (54), are the very nature of abiding in bliss. What is self-nature? Where and by whom is it shown? The ground of non-meditation, that itself is self-awareness. Separated from sound and mind, it is the realm beyond all. The self-made with object, that itself does not need to be fabricated. Abiding obstructs, moving settles in its own place. Not seeing, not abandoning, there is no awakening on the face. This groundless one abides, it is the realm of whatever is desired. Entering into it, there is no going beyond. The self-nature, difficult to determine whether it exists or not, is able to touch the mind, the wisdom itself without thought and without delusion. Actionless, holding the strength of a fool, with a happy mind, those with the mind of space, free from elaboration, should practice. That wisdom, without appearance, separated from emptiness, not grasping, not holding, not corrupting, each is independent. By what does one touch the three? Neither false nor true, the way of abiding is clear. Self-nature is one, separated from form itself. In that very substance, there are no words or expressions. Look in the state of primordial purity, self-emptiness, and absence of characteristics (55). Without foundation, without root, not dependent on anything, high and low, existence and non-existence, appearance pervades emptiness. From that, self-nature is the limit of mind, cut off in one state. Not dharma, but co-emergent, primordial and without duality. From where did it arise? By whom is it experienced and conquered?

Where does the meaning of self-appearance shine like a mirror? Without alteration, without turbidity, by whom is it not stolen? Two wisdoms, one in essence, without difference. Without ground, path exhausted, never having a result. Seeing, hearing, perception, one alone liberates. Without searching, who does not find it, dwelling in the heart of all. Primordially existent, beyond looking and seeing. That very self, unmade, the original state. Cause empty, condition clear, essence dwells by gathering. The two extremes of doing, acting, judging, and grasping are self-liberated. What is born from awareness, and what is transformed by each individual. That very way of abiding, what need is there to speak of it? Without effort, no need to search, it is the reality of all sources. Self-purified, the Dharma of defilement is transformed and (56) made. I have realized that effort ceases and liberation occurs. Moreover, is there liberation and abiding in liberation? Where does it exist? It is the pervasive wisdom. From emptiness, the path is made, the reality of Dharmata. Through emptiness, without effort, it is also the essence of the path. Blocking the breath and closing the eyes binds one's own mind. Without fabrication, without dependence, in the groundlessness. Transforming the body, with clarity, resting binds appearances. Without direction, without division, without mind. With the fetters of mental judgment, one binds the natural state. Primordially liberated, without action, without reservation, without certainty. With desire and experience, one binds with conceptualization. Without searching, abiding in its own place, without a place. Relying on cause and effect and scriptures, it is awareness itself. All dharmas are free from elaboration and without turbidity. The key to effortless self-liberation is extremely great. The key to the cessation of cause, the vanishing of conditions, and the exhaustion of results. Not relying on anything, the expanse in which one alone liberates. The meaning of being free from action, pure meditation, without looking (57). By whom is it not fabricated? Appearance is liberated by abiding in its own place. The intention that transcends entering, knowing, symbols, and terms. If it is free from the words "this," then it is that very nature; who can fabricate it? What is there to do on the path that is free from artificial clinging? By what is it not defiled? The place of self-awareness's liberation. Afflictions of body and mind are one's own Dharma. Unknowing children, although they appear vast. Abiding in self-nature, unmade, genuine self-awareness. Primordially self-liberated, no one can destroy it. Without unraveling, liberated in its own place, what need is there for effort? Primordially self-liberated, the very absence of a cause for liberation. Sinful actions and non-virtue, the ripening is a great friend of happiness. Effortlessly, without searching, the key to effortlessness. This very dependent arising, virtuous, benefits whom? Without a Buddha, by whom is the rope of bondage tied? Delusion and ignorance.
