Knowing it to be like an echo in a valley, merely an appearance; appearance is self-liberated, connected with the means of abiding. When a yogi first practices, speech should be cut off, not speaking to anyone; this is the key point of speech, so self-utterance (313) ceases. Abiding in great non-conceptual meditation, abiding in one-pointedness. The sound of abiding is on one's own body; the garland of Ā আলি (Tibetan, Devanagari, Romanized Sanskrit, literal meaning) and Kā কালি (Tibetan, Devanagari, Romanized Sanskrit, literal meaning) abides, encircling the heart with a garland, so how are all the things spoken in the voice alone in the channels? It does not go beyond Ā আলি (Tibetan, Devanagari, Romanized Sanskrit, literal meaning) and Kā কালি (Tibetan, Devanagari, Romanized Sanskrit, literal meaning); it is the recitation of Ā আলি (Tibetan, Devanagari, Romanized Sanskrit, literal meaning) and Kā কালি (Tibetan, Devanagari, Romanized Sanskrit, literal meaning). This is the key point of not needing mantra recitation; the yogi who knows how to practice it is that speech is mantra, it is a garland of mantra without a target. Therefore, whatever is thought is meditation. The sound of arrangement is the letters Ā আলি (Tibetan, Devanagari, Romanized Sanskrit, literal meaning) and Kā কালি (Tibetan, Devanagari, Romanized Sanskrit, literal meaning); all that appears as form in gatherings and invocations is indeed written. All that is invoked is imputed words, but there is no basis for establishing it on the basis of things, so everything is empty. All those thoughts are self-liberated, one's own self-liberation, like a snake knot. When yogis know this, letters are exhausted, so the limit of numbers is exhausted; therefore, it is the single bindu. The sound of invocation is fourteen (314) Ā আলি (Tibetan, Devanagari, Romanized Sanskrit, literal meaning) and thirty-four Kā কালি (Tibetan, Devanagari, Romanized Sanskrit, literal meaning), etc.; since various things appear from the root activity, this itself is also empty because it has no nature of speech; appearance is without nature; for example, it should be known like the moon in water. The letters Ā আলি (Tibetan, Devanagari, Romanized Sanskrit, literal meaning) and Kā কালি (Tibetan, Devanagari, Romanized Sanskrit, literal meaning) that abide in the body all abide in the center of the heart in the form of a garland, arising from between the tongue and teeth, and between the two lips, and from the depths of the palate and the throat. If a yogi examines that well, that place is emptiness, the self-nature of no place. The impermanent collection of Ā আলি (Tibetan, Devanagari, Romanized Sanskrit, literal meaning) and Kā কালি (Tibetan, Devanagari, Romanized Sanskrit, literal meaning) generates each letter residing in each channel, so one should know the distinction between white and red. If one contemplates that and places the mind on that letter, the karma wind is exhausted; the bindu awareness is self-liberated, its essence is separate from the moon. The meaning of the sound of the five elements is that the way a yogi sits and views is that one wants to see the actual basis, abandoning external busyness and going to abide in a solitary, uninhabited place, (315) first, upright conduct precedes, cutting off attachment to the body by standing in "kere," standing in the key points of the body, extending the legs and arms.

Like paper, the neck is slightly tilted back, and the back is straight. The key to speech is to make a loud "gu" sound, and forcefully utter loud sounds. The key to severing verbal attachments is to throw the mind into the sky. Eyes and awareness in the vastness of the sky, clearly maintain mindfulness and awareness. Then, exhausted, one becomes somewhat intoxicated. Then, awaken from that state, recover one's spirit, and act according to one's liking. In a secluded place, where all people do not move, in an empty valley, pile up sandalwood and other very numerous dry woods. Then light a great fire, and offer tsok and torma to the dakinis. Then observe the shape of the fire to judge common accomplishments. If the fire appears in the shape of a flower, or like the tip of a spear, it indicates that the activities of power and attraction will be accomplished. If the fire appears in the shape of a wheel, or like a sword, or like a triangle, it indicates that fierce activities such as expulsion and destruction will be accomplished. Know that these are also emptiness, without self-nature. The yogi should practice according to his own liking. Also observe the supreme accomplishments of color. White and yellow are non-discriminating wisdom. That itself is self-born, very white, clear, and transparent, is the great bodhicitta of the yogi, a sign of the appearance of the nirmanakaya who benefits beings with compassion. If it is very bright red and clear, it indicates a sign that one will stay in the world for a while, and the shape is also like a sheep's horn. If it is bluish-black, appearing as a terrifying black, and slender, with a similar shape, it indicates that one wanders in cemeteries with various fierce behaviors, a sign that one is suitable for walking. If it is very clear, yellow, and the tip is black, it indicates that I have abandoned all fears, and like a lion, it is a fearless sign of being free from harm from others. After performing such supreme practice, or in that secluded place, light a pile of firewood, and then blow the flames with your mouth. Then, at a distance of about two fathoms, sit on a comfortable cushion. The key to the body is to lie face down like an animal, without closing the eyes, supporting the elbows on the ground, raising the neck upwards, and placing the palms of the hands on the cheeks. Throw awareness into the center of the fire, like a lion.
