Knowing there is no clinging. The arising of non-conceptualization is the appearance of the Nirmanakaya. In whatever way appearances arise, great bliss arises naturally, which is the appearance of the Sambhogakaya. Appearances merge with mind and Dharmakaya, and all conceptualizations cease, which is the appearance of the Dharmakaya. At the time of the ultimate fruition, how the three kayas transform is shown: All appearances are pure in their own place. When the appearance of the exhaustion of Dharmata arises, the wisdom of the Dharmakaya's knowledge arises. Even the root of the slightest conceptual designation is not extinguished, and it is called the great unconditioned state. In experience, when the ultimate self-awareness wisdom reaches its limit, because experience does not increase further, it is called the Sambhogakaya, and the source of the qualities of the established designation is not extinguished, and it is called self-appearing, self-illuminating, and without clinging. Without the need for physical and verbal actions, constantly abiding in the meaning of manifest awareness, now transcending the clinging to instructions and Dharmata, it is called the Nirmanakaya, established in its essence. The way to practice the three kayas on the path, and the way the kaya is the three kayas, and the way to accomplish benefit. The benefit of sentient beings is also not extinguished, and it is called great compassion that does nothing. At the time of the completion of the fruit, the way to benefit beings is shown: That is also called kaya, which is the way to integrate the three ways of accomplishment into the path. Putting the word "kaya" in it, wherever the kaya is, it exists for the benefit, the path must be practiced relying on the kaya, and the fruit is not established as the kaya. Even so, if there are confused sentient beings who do not want to practice the path, but want to obtain the fruit at the same time (165), or someone says that liberation can be achieved without doing any good deeds, this is wanting the fruit without practicing the path, like not relying on the path, which is impossible. On the contrary, the secret mantra practitioner needs to realize the illusion. This is the fruit on the great secret path. So it is said. The so-called fruit is determined on the path, which is the intention to practice the three kayas on the path, which is taught in Tibet. Yes. If there is a path other than the three kayas that needs to be practiced, it is contradictory. If the path is regarded as something unreal, it will become seeking an unreal place. Therefore, all the tantras and instructions of secret mantra speak of the three kayas.

If it is said that the mother and the five wisdoms are the fruit, then here, this treatise of the Great Perfection is what acts as the path. The way to act as the path has already been shown above. Furthermore, regarding how this becomes the body, although there is a body (166), the reason why it cannot become the body is: one's own humans and animals, the bodies of the five elements of flesh and blood maturing individually; as well as vidyādharas, the body of light; the bardo, the body of mind that severs memory; pretas, the body of consciousness acting together; hell beings, the body of accumulated illusory wheels. Body is what is called body from the bodies of the six different realms and so on. The nirmāṇakāya is the body without certainty, because it is in accordance with the six realms of beings, therefore there is the body of conceptual habitual patterns. The sambhogakāya has the body of wisdom illusion appearing and being accomplished. The dharmakāya is the way of benefiting sentient beings, because it emanates two bodies, the rūpakāya, from activity to benefit sentient beings, therefore there is the precious secret body. Thus, these three bodies are the appearance of the path, wisdom, at the time of the ultimate fruit, the three bodies do not exist. Then, if there are no three bodies like this, is it as if wisdom is cut off? Wisdom is also not cut off, although there is no accomplishment in the place of activity (167), the compassion of self-force without obstruction, like the rays of the sun, is compassionate to sentient beings, the all-knowing eye of wisdom appears without obstruction, benefiting all sentient beings without ceasing to arise. For example, like the weather warming up, all the heat naturally arises, like ice and so on melting naturally, all the ice melts, like the branches and leaves of trees maturing, for sentient beings, the great blessing of the nature of the Sugata, the plan of the wisdom of knowing everything, appears without interruption. Therefore, know that all the happiness and well-being of all beings is the compassion of the Tathāgata. The Lamp Combining the Three Bodies, completed by the Indian paṇḍita Vimalamitra.
