Therefore, it is reasonable to manifest the Nirmanakaya in order to benefit sentient beings. For example, magicians can conjure up horses, elephants, and other things they desire in their minds and display them. Similarly, it is not made of Dharmata, but the continuity of wisdom is unbroken, therefore it is the Dharmakaya. That is the manifestation of great compassion. Since the aspect of the wisdom of awareness has not ceased, it is the Sambhogakaya. Since the activity aspect of the Nirmanakaya's (159) actions has not ceased, it manifests as the Nirmanakaya, performing altruistic deeds and perfecting the benefit of others. Therefore, the last of the three bodies is the Nirmanakaya, which manifests to benefit sentient beings. The method of initially bestowing the three bodies is: with the oral instruction of recognizing the mind and the Dharmakaya, the great fundamental place is established, and samsara and nirvana are blended into one, realizing cessation in the single bindu. With the oral instruction of recognizing the Sambhogakaya, all dharmas are established as great luminosity, and the appearance and emptiness of the two births are blended into one, showing enlightenment in the bardo. With the oral instruction of recognizing the Nirmanakaya, the five wisdoms of appearance and the conceptual thoughts of beings, and this is established, by knowing self-appearance as non-attachment, the grasper and the grasped are blended into one, showing that it does not harm. By placing the fundamental place on the fundamental ground, therefore recognizing the Dharmakaya; becoming familiar with the uncommon means, therefore recognizing the Sambhogakaya; by practicing awareness without attachment, therefore recognizing the Nirmanakaya, and recognizing. How any individual integrates the three bodies into the path has four aspects: integrating the three bodies into the path during the three times of hearing, thinking, and meditating; integrating the three bodies into the path during the practice of non-conceptualization; integrating the three bodies into the path during the time of view, meditation, and action; and showing the way to integrate into the path during the practice of generation and completion stages, there are four in total. Therefore, when a yogi initially engages in Dharma practice, by cutting off the three augmentations of outer, inner, and secret with the three wisdoms of hearing, thinking, and meditating, the Nirmanakaya is present when discursive thoughts are cut off. Afterwards, when an individual abides in the Dharma, since both words and meanings are enjoyed, it is the Sambhogakaya. Afterwards, when abandoning the Dharma, self-appearance has not gone beyond Dharmata, but is self-aware wisdom.

Due to being inseparable, it is (161) Dharmakaya. When practicing non-conceptualization, when the yogi abides in samadhi, the continuum of thoughts and ideas ceases, and that state is Dharmakaya. Without the arising of grasping thoughts, abiding clearly and without clinging, that is Sambhogakaya. Then, rising from samadhi and enjoying various experiences in the post-meditation state, abiding in that state is Nirmanakaya. When the view severs the continuum of the city of views, at the time of practice and conduct, the three kayas merge into the path: The view realizes all dharmas as unborn and free from elaboration, hence it is Dharmakaya. Meditation is the union of day and night. Through meditation, all afflictions and realizations are self-liberated in their own place; experiences, warmth, signs, and the power of signs arise without arising or ceasing, hence it is Sambhogakaya. At the time of conduct, one is in harmony with worldly people. Through conduct of non-attachment and equal taste, one gains control over appearances. Benefiting sentient beings, and through ascetic practices of wind control (162), one enhances experience, transforming asceticism into the path. Recitation and, distinguishing between sinking and excitement, enhances experience. Eliminating obstacles and hindrances through separating conduct, this is taking the Nirmanakaya into the path. At the time of deity generation and completion stage meditation, taking it into the path: First, meditating on all dharmas as emptiness with the samadhi of suchness, or arising from activity. Finally, also in the completion stage, dissolving the deity and palace into emptiness, meditating on all dharmas as emptiness, that is Dharmakaya. Visualizing the gradual accumulation of the elements, and visualizing the palace, and visualizing the seat and throne, and the ritual, from the three arises the deity, visualizing peaceful or wrathful deities as desired, fully visualizing the body color, hand implements, and all ornaments, blessing body, speech, and mind, and empowering with the five wisdoms, and inviting the five wisdom deities, the emanation and retraction of light rays, and their placement, these are the complete enjoyment body, Sambhogakaya. Then there is the recitation of the mantra (163) and the heart mantra, and the near recitation, and the accomplishment and the great accomplishment, and the four types of activities to subdue those who need to be subdued, completely accomplishing the benefit of oneself and others, this is taking the Nirmanakaya into the path. How do the yogis of the three kayas appear? By taking it into the path in this way, the outer
