One hundred and thirty copper plates, with turquoise inscriptions translated into one book. Twenty leaves bound with crystal silk, with fine red and blue lettering translated into one book. These were translated from Chinese books, not shown to anyone, and kept as seeds of the Dharma. I will not return to India, thinking of living on the top of the Chinese mountains, I did not take it because the road is difficult and dangerous, I took out my heart essence and hid it here, may the vow-holder of the Dharma find it! Among the one hundred and sixty inconsistent texts, the secret tantras, instructions, and letters, written in Nagara script, from here to the northeast for twenty cubits, under a red boulder resembling a sleeping tiger, marked with the letter "A," placed in an iron box and buried. In the degenerate age, the secret tantras and instructions, like adulterated market milk, when this Tibetan kingdom is filled with it, take it out and give it to someone who is familiar with Chinese to translate, use it to make up for omissions and deficiencies, there is nothing better than this. Therefore, as the lamp of the Dharma, may fortunate ones who use it appear! The Dharma's oath, the essence condensed again and again, inscribe it in your own heart, do not show it to others. For the sake of the pleasing illusory wealth of the world, if I give up my forehead eye and heart, heart blood will drip and eyeballs will fall to the ground. When a fortunate holder of instructions appears, you must let go of attachment and give this to him! Even if there is severe ice and snow on the road, I will go alone by means of miraculous power. (480) I pray to meet the fortunate heart-son! རྒྱ་རྒྱ་རྒྱ༔ (Tibetan) རྒྱ་རྒྱ་རྒྱ༔, Place it in the hearts of the faithful! There is no better way to place it than this. I am not a small clever person with little learning, so I know the meaning of all vehicles. Therefore, heart-son, this method, again, obtain extensively in the red treasury, inscribe it in your mind, and accompany it with a joyful heart. Like a cherished treasure, hold it tightly with miserliness. If you do so, you will immediately obtain accomplishment. Abiding is the adornment of the mind itself, placing is putting it in the fence of the mind, and appearing is arising as the play of the mind. ཨཱིྀ༔ (Tibetan) ཨཱིྀ༔, Who wants to use the iron hammer of great awakening to seize the mind that is like a fox in a charnel ground? The causeless and fruitless one arrives peacefully! Cutting off the source is searching for the abode of the mind, piercing the vital point is killing the horse of the mind, constantly destroying is showing how the corpse of the mind abides. Who wants to destroy the mind that is like muddy water with the hammer of self-liberation? The self-existent wheel of samsara and nirvana arrives peacefully! Exhausting dependence is depleting the number of minds, observing coming and going is determining the face of the mind, reversing it is abandoning the mind on the road. ཨཱིྀ༔ (Tibetan) ཨཱིྀ༔, Who wants to gather the mind that is like the sky with the broom of one taste of essence? The Dharmakaya of one taste arrives peacefully! Closing the doors is emptying the arising sensations of the mind, expelling the objects is emptying the support of the mind, expanding it is gathering the mind itself in the center. Who is the person who delights in the mind, the one with elaboration? Once accustomed to this, one enters the meaning of the essence. Therefore, one must strive for this. If one strives and becomes accustomed, one will see awareness. Thus was written the profound meaning.
