Having completed that, if one does not become distracted from its essence, then conceptual thoughts will dissolve into the Dharmadhatu, which is called the self-arising of the Dharmakaya. Second, the liberation of experiential appearances: From becoming accustomed to these experiences, when experiences of bliss, clarity, non-conceptuality, and inconceivability arise, (311) if there is clinging attachment, by staring intently at the essence of that experience as before, one will see that it is free from the consciousness of grasping. That itself is the recognition of self-nature, and it liberates arrogance and the clinging to affirmation and negation. Third, the liberation of adverse conditions: At that time, in order to purify bad karma, adverse external conditions will appear in layers, such as beatings, robberies, thefts, destruction, bad words, and so on, and various unpleasant things may occur. However, when they appear more intensely than before, the sting of adverse conditions gradually arises. By staring inwardly at that very awareness that has perfected its skill, it will subside on its own in that very instant, and the wisdom of empty-clarity self-arising will appear as vast and clear. Fourth, the liberation of perceived objects: Sometimes, when the mind is distracted by the desires of the five senses, by staring intently at the awareness that arises in that very object, self-clarity will appear without obscuration, which is called the liberation of the six objects into Dharmata. Fifth, the liberation of sickness: Also, (312) when more illnesses arise than before, make the intense pain of the illness the very core of your practice. By staring at the awareness of that pain, it will appear nakedly without any cause or sufferer of the illness, and that itself is the recognition of self-nature. Sixth, the liberation of spirits and demons: At that time, the obstructing forces, being unbearable, will display various magical displays. By recognizing and looking at the essence of whatever magical display appears, the one who fears and the object of fear will be liberated upon encountering each other, and fear and hatred will arise as the wheel of Dharmata. Seventh, the liberation of the five poisons: When thoughts such as desire gradually arise, recognize the source of perfected skill. By staring intently at that, the conceptual thoughts of the afflictions will arise as wisdom, and a bliss, clarity, purity, non-conceptual strength, and so on, will arise more than before. Eighth, the liberation of the thought of death: At that time, various doubts will arise about the Dharma and one's own practice, and thoughts of fear will arise due to the fear of death. Therefore, regarding doubt, one should look at the internal and external objects and mind.

When gazing intently at thoughts that include doubt (313), one sees them as being like rootless space. Do not doubt anything; eliminate it by recognizing it as rootless and baseless. When carefully observing the nature of the thought of death, one sees traceless, self-luminous emptiness. Even if the body is broken down into minute particles, awareness, as non-material self-luminous light, does not die. When observing the nature of awareness, one sees the great separation of the basis of birth and death. Thus, one sees the immortal, intrinsic wisdom and gains great confidence in not fearing death. These are the completion of the conditions for the path of one individual. Self-arisen awareness is vast and without limit; release the knots that the mind has grasped. May all beings, through virtue, from the very beginning, attain perfect enlightenment. May one attain the state of natural, equal, and vast expanse. This concludes the work called "Ultimate Wish-Fulfilling Jewel," composed by the supreme vehicle yogi Longchen Rabjam. The Essence of Transference: Luminous Light. Homage to the Lord who is from the beginning (314), as vast as space, Kunsang Gyalwa. In order to enter the non-abiding realm, I write the essence of transference: luminous light. Furthermore, in the Sound Tantra Collection, there are many explanations about practicing transference, etc. This is the key instruction on the definitive meaning: First, sit comfortably on a cushion, take refuge and generate bodhicitta, then practice guru yoga. Visualize the central channel extending from your secret place to the crown of your head, straight like an arrow shaft, with the Brahma aperture open like a star or a window. In the heart, visualize a sphere of light with a surrounding aura of five-colored rainbows, and in the center, a shimmering blue "Ah" (藏文:ཨ,梵文天城体:अ,梵文罗马拟音:a,汉语字面意思:阿), the size of a mustard seed. By focusing the mind on this, the clear, empty, self-arisen wisdom light will arise. This is the initial protector, the unchanging light of the Sambhogakaya, the indivisible intention of Kunsang Yab-Yum. Then, recite "Ah Ah Ah" (藏文:ཨ་ཨ་ཨཱ་,梵文天城体:आ आ आ,梵文罗马拟音:ā ā ā,汉语字面意思:阿阿阿) one hundred and eight times with intonation. As you recite, the sphere becomes higher and higher, emerging from the Brahma aperture (315), shooting like an arrow into the sky above, and dwelling in the heart of Vairochana Buddha, the principal deity of the five families, in the spontaneously accomplished, densely arrayed pure land of the Sambhogakaya. Afterwards, that pure land also becomes higher and higher, eventually becoming inconceivable and unimaginable, like space.
