One should believe that this is merely an appearance of delusion. In short, the essence of self-arisen wisdom, abiding in its own place, the view is empty like the sky, and the clear, free from elaboration, arising from within, is to have mastery over the meaning of the Great Perfection. Without engaging in sinking and excitement, clinging and extremes, effort and fabrication, rejection and acceptance, be aware! Be clear! Be open! Be aware! Be luminous! Be at ease! Be pervasive! Be expansive! Outwardly, even if you look at the light of appearance with your eyes, (292) the mind's grasping does not enter. Inwardly, even if you naturally abide in samadhi, it is not tainted by the experience of attachment. The outer, inner, and intermediate are all spread out and abide in a state like the sky, which is called placing the mind on the unmistaken view of manifest heart essence. At that time, the mind, together with the alaya consciousness, and the mind, together with the afflicted mind and consciousness, are separated from the individually clinging thoughts of the five senses, and do not waver from the samadhi of clear light wisdom, and do not abandon appearances, which is the secret of compassion. Because it is separated from the mind, the habitual tendencies of meditation naturally exhaust themselves, and there is no karma to be born into the form realm. Because it is separated from the mere one-pointedness of thoughtless mind, the boundary of being born into the formless realm is empty. Because it is separated from the grasping and the grasped with thoughts, there is no karma to be born into the desire realm. The impure earth, stones, mountains, rocks, etc., the seers of external delusion, the five consciousnesses such as eye consciousness, etc., are naturally extinguished and separated by looking at the clear light, so the basis of the habitual tendencies of the place of rebirth in samsara (293) is exhausted. Since there is no deluded mind that is born into samsara, the place of birth, and the habitual tendencies that cause birth, this is the key to attaining Buddhahood in one lifetime. In short, since the wrong path and obscurations of awareness and wisdom appear as the mind, therefore, by stopping the mind through ways of seeing, ways of observing, etc., wisdom does not waver, and repeatedly practicing in the great non-clinging of appearance and awareness is the ultimate view of the secret heart essence. All sutras and tantras say that habitual tendencies rely on the mind and are established as non-thought, and in the Two Truths it says: "Mind and mental factors are of the nature of the three realms, The imputed aspects are thoughts." And in the Entering the Middle Way it says: "He who stops the mind, manifests it with his body." etc. Although one desires non-discriminating wisdom, there is no other distinction like this, because after the mind stops, it is like a piece of wood.
