।। In appearances and experiences, and in dreams, Various forms will arise. At that time, regarding the essential instructions, Understanding through reasoning, And relaxing in the self-nature, free from clinging. First, the method of reasoning is: Whatever miraculous display appears, it symbolizes, The entire phenomenal world, all beings and environments, Appearing as forms, but in essence, they are empty. Without parts, and devoid of inherent existence. Like illusions, dreams, and reflections in water, Because they are unborn, they have no place to dwell. Unobstructed, transcending all coming and going. What is there to fear in that? Sound is empty from the very moment it arises. Smell, taste, touch, and all phenomena as well, Are empty in essence (232), like images. In the nature of emptiness, which appears as non-existent, What is there to fear or be delighted by? By examining the object of fear, Just as it is without inherent existence, Looking back at the mind that fears, The mind has no basis in the three times. Having examined it, it cannot be found, it has no reason. Without color, shape, or identifiable characteristics. What creates joy and fear, and by what? Thus, in the object and the mind, in grasping and being grasped, There is nothing; at that time, all phenomena, Like the sky, are without self, So grasping at otherness is naturally empty. That itself is self-arisen wisdom, Resting in self-luminous freedom from elaboration. Second, relaxing into self-pacification: Whether examined or unexamined, at any time, There is no inherent existence, like images. For that, there is no need for recollection or thought. Whatever appears, relax upon whatever arises. The entire phenomenal world, samsara and nirvana, all things, When they appear, the nature of reality appears as emptiness. When empty, the three realms of samsara are empty. When constant, the Dharmakaya is unchanging. When cut off, karma and afflictions are cut off. Therefore, whatever appears (233) does not appear, There is no good or bad, gain or loss, Rest in the state of equality, free from a basis. Even if gods or demons appear, do not cling to them. For the formless, there is no need to fear. The one who fears is the mind, and the mind cannot be identified. For that, there is no need to abandon the unreal. Thus, for object, mind, joy, fear, And all the conceptual thoughts of the five poisons, Directly see and self-liberate, for identification, Relax in a state of non-clinging. By that, the dualistic grasping of enemy and friend is pacified. Attain the limit of freedom from hope and fear. Incidentally, the common accomplishments are: Gods and demons, vows and obstacles, become empty helpers. All circumstances are the meeting of mind with mind, naturally liberated. Therefore, practice this essential point. May all beings, through this virtue, Be liberated into the realm of unbornness! Om.

The Key Instructions for Clear Practice, named "Nectar King." Composed by the Great Perfection Yogi Longchen Rabjam, it is complete. The Wheel of the Three Key Points of Dharmata is present. །།Accomplishing the fulfillment of qualities and all power, the unchanging radiant infinite treasury of the Victorious Ones, I bow to the lotus feet of that one (page 234), and write clearly the Wheel of the Three Key Points of Dharmata. It has become the pinnacle of all vehicles. From the key points, clear light manifestly arises. In a single instant, it unites with the Dharmakaya. May that one be victorious from the beginning. Thus, such supreme instructions, as I have heard from the Lama, this unerring, extremely profound instruction, I will ascertain it exactly as it is. Gathering together the essential points of the Great Perfection Secret Heart Essence, there are three aspects to diligently practice: the key points of body, speech, and mind. Firstly, there are two aspects: the key point of the body as the basis, and the key point of the door as the support. The key point of the body is taught first. Furthermore, if the body is not disciplined in the key point, the channels will not be disciplined in the key point. If the channels are not disciplined, the winds and awareness will not be disciplined in the key point. If the winds and awareness are not disciplined in the key point, clear light will not manifest. Therefore, in order to bring these into the key point, it is crucial to learn the postures of the five bodies. Firstly, the posture of the Dharmakaya is like a lion, with both soles of the feet placed on the ground, suppressing the moving karmic winds. Straightening the body allows the winds to flow comfortably. Placing the power of the head on the nape of the neck naturally stops conceptual thoughts. Curling the fingers and sitting in a dog-like posture causes the warmth of wisdom to arise and balances the elements. The posture of the Sambhogakaya is like an elephant, lying face down with the body pressed against the chest, increasing the realm of bliss, warmth, and wisdom. Placing both elbows on the ground causes the male and female winds to flow naturally into a neutral state. Slightly lifting the throat with the palms stops the coarse winds. Extending and curling the toes outwards balances sinking and excitement. The posture of the Nirmanakaya is like a sage, sitting in a squatting position balances the channels and winds naturally. Placing the soles of the feet on the ground suppresses the power of water. Straightening the spine allows the winds and mind to flow in dharmata. Pressing the knees against the chest causes the fire winds to blaze into wisdom. Slightly pulling the intestines upwards and fixing them to the back.
