Like the sun or moon revolving, above are the Kunsang Yab-Yum (Samantabhadra and Samantabhadri), (210) in the middle are the five Buddha families Yab-Yum, below are the six realms, and their teachers are the six Thubpas (Muni), all arising from self-appearance. When one recognizes one's own nature, eight ways of arising occur, along with six kinds of direct perception, six kinds of recollection, and eight ways of dissolving. First, to make one recognize one's own nature, there are three instructions. The instruction of trusting one's own appearance is like meeting a familiar person: trust one's own appearance and settle without hesitation. The instruction like an unchanging golden peg: when recognizing, settle without being distracted elsewhere. The instruction like shooting a great arrow that does not return: upon recognizing, liberate and abide in self-luminous non-conceptuality. At that time, the eight ways of arising are: arising like compassion, therefore, like a mother to her only child, compassion arises impartially towards all sentient beings. Arising like light, therefore, from those appearances, self-light radiates, filling all of space. Arising like form, therefore, within all spheres of light, self-appearance as the form of deities. Arising like wisdom, therefore, the Buddha's pure lands self-appear. Two (211) Arising like non-duality, therefore, abide single-pointedly in non-conceptual samadhi. Arising like the exhaustion of extremes, therefore, realize all phenomena of appearance as transparent. Arising like the impure door of samsara, therefore, the six realms appearing in the sphere of silk light are realized as dreamlike illusions. Arising like the pure door of wisdom, therefore, the knowledge of suchness and all that exists is self-clear. At that time, there are six kinds of direct perception. With the direct perception of the senses, liberation in the realm of appearance and conditions. With the direct perception of the pure vision of wisdom, realize self-appearance as clear light. With the direct perception of wisdom, afflictions are exhausted in their own place. With the direct perception of mental pliancy, abide single-pointedly in samadhi. With the direct perception of the exhaustion of defilements, realize the bonds of the aggregates are naturally exhausted. With the direct perception of wisdom vision, realize self-appearance as the nature of reality. With the direct perception of the complete knowledge of the Buddha, know the actions and continuities of oneself and others completely. Similarly, there are six kinds of recollection. With the recollection of view, realize everything as self-born wisdom (212). With the recollection of meditation, settle equally upon realization. With the recollection of deities, enjoy

The body is liberated into the Dharmakaya. By remembering the key points, one recognizes the self-luminous clarity. By remembering the lama, blessings naturally arise. By remembering the yidam, siddhis are naturally accomplished. The key to these is that by seeing the end of primordial purity, the nature of reality, one recognizes the ground of primordial liberation. By directly seeing the spontaneously appearing Sambhogakaya realm, one is liberated into self-appearing form and wisdom. By seeing the impure Nirmanakaya's field of beings to be tamed, one engages in activities where samsara and nirvana are inseparable. Then there are eight ways of dissolution: External appearances dissolve into inner clarity, like the full moon dissolving into space. That is, compassion dissolves into compassion, so that those to be tamed and those who tame are purified. Light dissolves into light, like crystal light being gathered within itself, without distinction. Form dissolves into form, like a lamp inside a vase, the clear part is clear within. Wisdom dissolves into wisdom, like a child entering its mother's lap, awareness dissolves into the ground. Non-duality dissolves into non-duality (213), like a wave dissolving into water, phenomena are liberated into the nature of reality. The end of liberation dissolves into the end of liberation, like the space of a container merging with the great space, without focus, abiding in the nature of reality. The impure door of samsara dissolves into pure wisdom, like gathering up the ropes of a tent, samsara and nirvana gather into a single bindu. The pure door of wisdom dissolves into essence, like a lion taking possession of a snow mountain, one takes one's own place in the state of primordial purity of reality. Thus, whatever the manner of dissolution, when one recognizes one's own face, the nature of the manner of arising also abides in oneself, and thus one abides in the primordial purity of the ground of primordial liberation. Again, without moving from the state of Dharmakaya, the two form bodies appear, spontaneously accomplishing the benefit of sentient beings, this is the ground of primordial liberation. From the self-arisen awareness, it is said: What is the first ground of liberation? Thus it is said. The third general meaning, the way of ultimately being liberated into the realm of the self-nature Nirmanakaya, is: That is, familiarity and diligence, like the rising and setting of the sun and moon, the spontaneous appearance disappears, and (214) being born in a pure realm at the same time, therefore there is no bardo between existence. For other beings, only like a dream, the bardo between existence appears, but relying on the compassion of the supreme lama, and the power of truth of familiarizing oneself with the manifest luminosity of the nature of reality, in the eastern direction, in the Abhirati, the Immovable Vajra realm, being miraculously born from a lotus, the Akshobhya with
