The non-virtuous deeds of the earth diminish naturally. When meditative stabilization is accomplished, direct perception and miraculous powers are achieved. Thereafter, when experiential appearances further increase, being the same as the path of joining, one possesses faith and diligence. Mindfulness, meditative stabilization, and wisdom are empowered, and afflictions are completely vanquished, being a great and powerful antidote. There are no lice or nits, and even dreams are auspicious. The continuity of bad migrations is cut off, and truthful words are also accomplished. Thereafter, when awareness reaches its limit, appearances are in the order of beginning, middle, and end. Seeing the fields of vision and meditation, and meditative stabilization, miraculous powers, etc., seeing higher and higher, one sees the qualities of the realm. That is like an earthenware pot, glass, or rainbow, like the appearance of a lamp in a gradual transformation analogy. The stains that obscure the realm (101) are purified, and the qualities of power increase, like a new appearance. In terms of meaning, there is no increase or decrease in qualities before or after. Like seeing the sun through clouds, the meaning of the Sugata-garbha is understood. Because of direct seeing, it is taught through metaphors, and should be understood. That is also like a newborn infant seeing the sun from the gap in the house, and an intermediate person from the roof, and an old person from the top of a mountain. Like seeing the sun, the nature of seeing and meditation is the same. That is also like seeing the sun without difference. Although seeing the Sugata-garbha is without difference, seeing the light of the sun, wherever one sees a country, like seeing it spread throughout the kingdom, the difference in seeing the self-luminous qualities of the essence is great. How to meditate on what has already been seen, although it is the same as the path of meditation, the qualities are not the same because of the new appearance. It should be understood by the example of seeing the sun and sunlight. In this meaning, on the nature of realizing the nature of reality, clarity and non-clarity, the extent is the difference between large and small. The difference between the two is illustrated by an example, like a blind person, a dim-sighted person, and a person with clear eyes. When seeing the sun, how can a blind person see it? A dim-sighted person sees it slightly impurely. A person with clear eyes sees it without obscurations (102). Individual ordinary people are like blind people. Because they cannot truly see the essence of the essence, they see it with faith and aspiration, and hearing, thinking, and reaching the ultimate. Among them, at this time, like seeing sunlight, because it is very close to seeing the essence, this is a noble being who has become the pinnacle of the supreme vehicle. Like looking at a vase covered with silk, the ten obscurations of that realm gradually disappear, and the vase of essence becomes very clear. Therefore, in seeing the essence of the essence, seeing

Even similar meditations are distinguished by the differences in impurities, between clarity and non-clarity. Like the sun, the essence of the mind is measured. Like light, from the aspect of radiance or appearance, virtues also have great and small extent. One virtue arises from the power of purifying one obscuration. Like sunlight in a changing appearance room, on a rooftop, or a mountain peak, the extent is seen as great or small. Or like a mirror, where one side is purified of dust, the appearance of reflections increases. This way, the gate of wisdom is supremely excellent. Here, appearances are higher and higher. From the five-fold realm, deities appear as forms. Hundreds of thousands of millions of realms are seen, possessing the essence of meditative qualities and dharani clouds. The first "Sang" (103) is in the place of twelve hundred. Higher and higher, it resides in places of thousands, ten thousands, and millions. It is one with the way of purifying like the dust of the ocean. In the lower secret mantra, the mandala is spontaneously accomplished. The way of seeing it directly is also this. Therefore, the signs of having gone on the true path, the qualities of the ground, path, heat, and virtues are not deceptive. Like the growth of a seed, sprouts, leaves, branches, and fruits arise in order, this is considered similar. Whatever qualities exist in the realm, appearance is the nature of reality due to being free from impurities. Nowadays, those who boast of being great yogis, not knowing the ground and path, being mere emptiness and cessation, falsely claim to have penetration, singleness, and immeasurable signs. All those fools wander in the darkness of the lower realms. Because they slander the meaning of the true essence, such evil paths should not be heard, let alone practiced and contemplated. The system of emptiness and annihilation of the sky, and distancing from the world, contradicts the words of the Sugata, so it should be abandoned far away. Therefore, the supreme qualities of the clear light ground and path, through familiarity, will certainly arise without deception. Such a profound path should be followed with reverence at the crown of the head (104). Then, the appearance of the exhaustion of reality is, the collection of all conceptual impurities of the perfectly pure three grounds, is said to be exhausted because it is manifestly exhausted, because the coarse body is exhausted, and because deluded appearances are exhausted. Appearance is great wisdom clear light, mind, grasping, and conceptual thoughts subside. Freedom is obtained over realms, wisdom, and dharma. Therefore, when the path of meditation exhausts reality, without effort, meditation proceeds spontaneously. Like the crest of the ocean and the great Garuda soaring in the sky, one obtains the power of birth and entering.
