By the merit of this, may all beings swiftly attain liberation! This is called "The Backing Document of Entrusted Liberation - Spontaneous Perfection," which is a detailed compilation of all the meanings of the "One Teaching Son" by the supreme vehicle yogi Longchen Rabjam, along with its commentary (page 63) and the key instructions on how to hold it. It is complete. The Corrective Text of Trekchö, "Vast Expanse of Sky," is present. This is called "Vast Expanse of Sky." Homage to glorious Samantabhadra! The realm of primordial enlightenment, spontaneously present wisdom, Without basis, without root, primordially liberated, without change, The intrinsic nature, naturally abiding, self-liberated, Unfabricated, without aggregation or separation, I pay homage to that. The king of reality, the fortress of the wisdom of suchness, The expanse that equally pervades existence and peace, without duality, The meaning without abandoning or adopting, rejecting or establishing, hoping or fearing, Listen as I explain it according to how I have realized it. In the wisdom without wide or narrow, high or low, Do not identify it as "this," in the nature of space. The suchness of unborn, completely pure, In the nature that transcends the mind of yes or no, Do not bother searching with the mind in the three times. As long as there is a mind of partiality and attachment, That very clinging to self is the realm of ignorance and darkness. It has no power to realize reality, it is a binding. Therefore, if there is a specific object of focus, let it go. Whatever is focused on is a box of binding, One does not see the true meaning of dualistic clinging. The mind of yes or no is rejection and attachment. Do not be bound by taking that as the meaning! Not abandoning anything, the meaning that transcends all, The impartial wisdom, without reliance, self-sufficient, Indescribable as "this," separated from all thoughts, Equally one in the great expanse of non-duality. Just as one would cut the sky into pieces, The self-arisen wisdom is vast and impartial. Beings, with their minds, cling to their own desired doctrines. Without realizing the intrinsic nature, they are of little fortune. When one desires one's own side as "this," Then there is something to be abandoned as "other." Without the fortune to realize non-duality, it is grasping and clinging. Clinging to things as signs is truly pitiful. Powerless, bound in the box of the mind, Whatever nature is nearly deceived, Deluded in existence, what is to be done with that? Know it to be like space, without example, without partiality, Unmoving, primordially

The pure Bodhicitta (65), the nature of being without objectification and free from elaboration, is the Suchness that can never be altered. Even the thought of Suchness should be abandoned. In the ultimate sense, it cannot be pointed to as "this." It transcends all acceptance and rejection, negation and affirmation, hope and doubt. It is without basis, without the cessation of the path, and without attachment to the fruit. It is neither "is" nor "is not," spontaneously equal, and unwavering. The uncreated king, the great perfection of self-nature. It is the expanse of non-objectification, beyond thought. Just as in this vast expanse of space, the four elements change and various phenomena appear, but the sky does not change, it is the same before and after. In the state of pure, vast self-nature, the five aggregates are like illusions, the elements and sense bases, karma and afflictions, all phenomena of existence and samsara, although various manifestations appear due to various karmas, the self-arisen wisdom does not waver and does not change. The designations of self-awareness, ultimate truth, delusion, and conventional truth are also meaningless, like reflections. The unborn Dharma-nature is the pure self-nature (66). Thus, in the face of the delusion of beings and existence, from the moment of appearance, the self-nature is unobstructed, like illusion, dream, and cataract. Because it is dependent origination, it is empty of inherent existence. Because it is without essence, it has never existed from the beginning. If the gross appearance is analyzed, it is a particle. If that is analyzed, it is free from all directions. Like space, it is immaterial, the form of empty self-nature. Sound, smell, taste, and touch are also in the state of emptiness. Because it arises from dependent origination and conditions, it has no essence. The mind is also immaterial, without color, beyond the realm of sight. If analyzed deeply, there is no grasper or grasped, originally pure, the expanse of self-aware emptiness. Samsara and Nirvana are non-dual, the very act of grasping at duality, know that this is dependent origination arising from no basis. Therefore, all dharmas are unborn from the beginning, uncharacterizable, beyond all partiality, and the unskilled cling to them as real, thus becoming deluded in samsara. With the thought of grasping at "I" and "mine" in duality, being dominated by delusion is like the turning of a chariot wheel. Meaningless clinging (67), in the cycle of delusion, those who separately perceive things that have no self-nature, cling to and are attached to the non-existent appearances, the form of emptiness, being dominated by various joys and sorrows, how miserable! The continuous conceptualizations of past and future, the flood of karma and afflictions, the unbearable suffering of being without freedom, how unbearable!
