Ra gsum (41) is recited. Then, placing it at the heart, starting from "with mind," recite "Dharmā kāya citta abhiṣiñca hūm (Tibetan, Sanskrit Devanagari, Sanskrit Romanization, Literal Chinese meaning: Dharma body, mind, empower, hūm)," three times up to "mind vajra." Then, placing it at the navel, starting from "all three of body, speech, and mind," recite "Kāya vāk citta ratna karma abhiṣiñca svāhā (Tibetan, Sanskrit Devanagari, Sanskrit Romanization, Literal Chinese meaning: Body, speech, mind, jewel, karma, empower, svāhā)" and "Please bless body, speech, mind, qualities, activity, and all vajras to be inseparable." After reciting three times, place it on silk, have the disciple hold it with upturned palms, and recite these words three times: "All Buddhas, gurus of the ten directions, please consider with compassion. For the sake of sentient beings, by the blessing of wearing this liberation, may all sentient beings who see, hear, remember, offer, praise, or speak of me, or who are touched by me, quickly attain perfect enlightenment." Thus it is said. Fourth, how to wear it: Then, wrap it in colored silk and put it in an arm cover, saying, "This needs to be in contact with breath, so always wear it and do not let it separate from warmth." (42) After saying this, wear it on the crown of the head, neck, or left armpit, without letting others see it. From "Essential Points at the Time of Offering": "The emanation body is worn like this, whether on the crown of the head, in the armpit, or on the neck. From the letters of the Great Self-Arisen One, the exemplar is written from precious jewels, the size of a four-finger scripture, wrapped in various silks." Thus it is said. Also, by wearing it in the three places of body, speech, and mind, it is liberated into body, speech, and mind. Men wear it in the left armpit, and women wear it in the right armpit. Regarding wearing it constantly, from that same text: "Therefore, do not separate from this, whether walking, sleeping, sitting, standing, eating, walking, prostrating, circumambulating, rising, hand gestures, running, bathing, or eliminating waste. Likewise, speaking, reciting mantras, thinking, practicing, whatever activities of the three doors are done, do not separate from this." Thus it is said. Also, it is very important not to separate from warmth. Fifth, how to read it: (43) Among the eight types of times, the first is when the sun and moon are eclipsed by Rāhu, arrange outer and inner offerings, and visualize oneself as Vairocana Buddha, father and mother, blue in color, in vajra posture, surrounded by

Meditate on the eighth petal, holding it with the tip of the hand gesture of achieving supreme Bodhi, and visualize a white four-spoked wheel on the tongue, marked with the syllable ཨཱོྃ་ (Tibetan: ཨཱོྃ་, Sanskrit Devanagari: ओँ, Sanskrit Romanization: oṃ, Chinese literal meaning: Om), and recite it when distracted. By reciting the pure and clear self-sound six or nine times, pervade all worlds, and with light, liberate all sentient beings from samsara. Whether day or night, when seized, in times of suffering, for sentient beings of the animal realm, make a feast that matches their food, in times of calmness, perform ransom, and in times of confusion, one should contemplate the meaning of Dharma. Just as it is said therein: When the sun and moon are seized by Rahu, recite this six or nine times, and by speaking intensely with the tongue of the wheel, that is also no different from the Emanation Body. At this time, perform the virtuous act of ransom, make a feast for sentient beings of the animal realm, contemplate the meaning of Dharma, reciting (44) is in times of distraction, ransom is in times of calmness, animals are in times of suffering, contemplation is done in times of confusion. Whoever does it like that will also attain the qualities of the Emanation Body. Thus it is said. Second, when an earthquake occurs, visualize oneself as the Immovable Buddha parents, white, holding the vajra with the mudra of subduing demons, and visualize a three-pointed vajra on the tongue, marked with the syllable Sanskrit Romanization: hūṃ, Chinese literal meaning: Hum), and by reciting six or seven times, with self-sound and light, pacify all harm and injury, and visualize attaining liberation. This is done in times of distraction. For yogis who possess vows, it is done when the number of years of the gathering is equal. That is, when a male and female yogi hold a gathering once a year, the number of years of the gathering is accomplished. In times of confusion, make a feast for the people, and in times of suffering, invite them from their respective places, as it is also said therein: If an earthquake occurs, recite this six times, seven times, or five or three times, with the vajra tongue (45). The gathering is the number of years of yoga, at this time give generously, the yogi who possesses supreme vows, perform the feast of the gathering in this way. Recitation occurs in times of distraction, the gathering is done in times of calmness, the feast is in times of confusion, the yogi is in times of suffering, call them from their respective places. Like this, from the difference of occurrences.
