The mandala of the Vajra Realm blazes with light and rays. Downwards, in the realms of the six destinies, at the time of the self-manifestation of the inconceivable emanations of the six Thubpas (Sages) who tame beings, the three kayas are liberated, the three eyes dissolve, and the six abhijñās (superknowledges) arise, reaching completion in the primordial ground. These are the six abhijñās: At the time of recognizing one's own nature and being liberated, at that time, the abhijñā of the eye sees upwards the realm of the Dharmakaya, which transcends the intellect, the appearance of the primordial purity, the basis of liberation; directly sees the realm of the Sambhogakaya, the Akanishtha (highest) Vajra Realm; and downwards sees the appearance of the six destinies, which are tamed by the Nirmanakaya. The abhijñā of the ear, upwards, the speech of the Dharmakaya abides in the single peak of wisdom, (406) and hears the great inexpressible, unthinkable, and unutterable sound; directly hears the speech of the Sambhogakaya, clear, pure, and unchanging; and downwards hears the speech of the Nirmanakaya, the sounds of each of the six classes of beings, the sixty branches. The first two speeches are known as having inexpressible meaning, so they are called hearing, but the third is that the hearing of the ear has no grasping. The abhijñā of the mind, upwards, knows the intention of the Dharmakaya, the indivisibility of the Dharmadhatu and wisdom; directly knows the intention of the Sambhogakaya, the five wisdoms; and downwards knows the intention of the Nirmanakaya, suchness and as-many-as-there-are. The abhijñā of the place, upwards, the abode of the Dharmakaya, the Dharmadhatu free from elaboration; directly the abode of the Sambhogakaya, clear light, unchanging; and downwards the abode of the Nirmanakaya, sees the great field of self-manifestation for taming. The abhijñā of karma knows all the karmic results of one's own nature without exception. The abhijñā of magical power knows that the emanations of the six Thubpas and others show whatever tames whomever. The (407) activities of these are: the eye distinguishes, the ear hears, and the mind knows, so that body, speech, and mind are enlightened in the primordial state. The place performs the meaning of activities for the Buddha's fields and sentient beings. Karma purifies all one's own deluded habitual tendencies, so that one does not enter samsara again, and with compassion, one tames and guides sentient beings with emanations to purify their karma. Magical power empties samsara with great benefit for others. Thus, these six abhijñās cause Buddhahood.

manifested all the Dharmas completely. The three bodies are: the present body of flesh and blood, the intermediate state dissolving into the body of wisdom, and liberation into the body of Dharmakaya Jewel. The three eyes are: the present eye of wisdom, the intermediate state dissolving into the eye of Dharmata, which dissolves into the eye of Wisdom Jewel and is primordially liberated. Thus, when the Bardo's clear light, the self-appearing clear light, arises, in the first instant, recognize and decide in the self-appearance. Secondly, place it on the interruption and abide in meditation. Thirdly, self-liberate and become enlightened in body and wisdom. Fourthly, benefit sentient beings with emanations. Fifthly, abiding without change in the primordial state is called the intention of Wisdom Clear Light. The five instants are also considered to be the instant of accomplishing the deed. The third is the way of traversing the realms of subsequent appearances: Because the inferior faculties of this Dharma are small in diligence, they are exhausted from some practices and have no time to practice. They see a little of the appearance of clear light and have faith in the instructions. Those who have no faults in their vows, when the Bardo of Dharmata Clear Light arises, after not recognizing it, by the blessings of the instructions, as soon as the spontaneously accomplished Bardo disappears, the Manifest Joy, the South Precious Fulfilling, the West Sukhavati, the North Karma Accomplishing, and the Central Ogmin Thickly Arrayed, one of these five, is instantly born by miraculous birth, and in that lifetime Buddhahood is attained. For some, in a small part of a dream, it is said that they are born in that realm in an instant from the Bardo of Existence. (409) Some of the very last of the faculties, although they see the clear light, do not practice it. At the time of death, they are not clear, and after the Bardo of Dharmata disappears, the Bardo of Existence arises. When they recognize death, they remember the instructions of the clear light and the realms of the five families with great remembrance, and are born there. The intermediate ones practice the generation and completion stages like illusion, and the inferior ones take refuge in the Lama and the Three Jewels, and are born in this Jambudvipa with leisure, or in the heavenly realms of Tushita, etc. It is said that they will meet such a Vajrayana and be liberated, so it is very important to be diligent in practice. The third meaning is to show the way of liberation of the result: the superior in this life, the intermediate in the Bardo, the inferior in another life, wherever they are liberated, it is light.
