Without basis, without object. Realizing the unarisen as appearing, the unerring wisdom, or awareness, the essence of the Sugata, is the eternal, stable, unchanging, primordially pure and stainless, qualities primordially complete, unconditioned, spontaneously accomplished great perfection, inconceivable by the mind that sees the manner of reality, to be known as like space, the sun, water, and the moon. Having realized thus, the continuum of the city of the womb is cut off, therefore one does not regress in the three realms. Therefore, it is called the view of cutting off the continuum of the city. Secondly, the means to meditate on that is: The yogi who has realized thus, when looking at external phenomena, the mistaken appearances appear as unreal, realizing them as the eight similes of illusion, without refuting or establishing, and without clinging, he abides. When looking at the inner nature, the taste is the same, without accomplishment or elimination, realizing it as like space, in the state of freedom from elaboration and exhaustion of phenomena, without clinging to hope and fear, he abides (392). When looking at the secret awareness, emptiness and clarity, the unobstructed great perfection Dharmakaya spontaneously accomplished, realizing it as one, without effort, fabrication, or adulteration, he abides. The meaning of these, in the Tantra of the Heap of Jewels, the twelve vajra laughs are spoken of: Look at the self-born wisdom, beyond virtue and vice, and view and meditation, how wonderful! Without moving the ground, whatever actions of the body are done, free from virtue and vice, benefit and harm, haha! Look at the way things naturally abide, this appearance does not change its fur, does not change its color, how wonderful! Whatever happiness and suffering are experienced, in meaning there is no change, haha! Look at the great emptiness, the all-pervading wisdom, the activities of memory and thought, appearing as various plays, how wonderful! However it is done, it is liberated into the unborn in the unobstructed space, haha! Look at the all-pervading wisdom of the Dharmakaya, the unborn is primordially co-emergent, how wonderful! Even if beings are killed with weapons in one instant, one is free from benefit and harm to the continuum, haha! Look at the awareness, the emptiness, the all-appearing wisdom (393), whatever appears arises as one's own friend, how wonderful! Whatever appears does not move from one's own ground, haha! Look at the awareness, the emptiness, the all-liberating appearance, one's own enemy is oneself, how wonderful! All the afflictions are self-liberated, haha! Look at the awareness, the primordially empty, all-pure nature, not

It is wonderful to find the fruit in this way. Once realized, all of samsara and nirvana are purified in non-duality, haha. Look at the essence of emptiness, the self-nature of the ground of all. It is wonderful that the six realms appear as the three bodies. It is wonderful that beings attain Buddhahood in an instant without practicing even a speck of meditation. Look at the emptiness of the three bodies, the fruit of primordial perfection. It is wonderful that the nature of reality is without gathering or separation in the three times. It is wonderful that the two accumulations are perfected in an instant without practicing the six perfections, haha. Look at the wisdom of awareness, nakedly abiding, all equal. It is wonderful that all actions manifest as ornaments. It is wonderful that all acceptance and rejection are liberated by view, haha. Look at the emptiness of emptiness, the great primordial emptiness. It is wonderful that all the Buddhas (394) are dwelling on a precipice. It is wonderful that samsara is extinguished by the actions of meditation, haha. Look at the emptiness that is not empty, the substantial. It is wonderful that the vehicle that grasps at non-existence as self. It is wonderful that the unborn is attained through birth, haha. Thus it is said, look at the essence of the nature of awareness. There is no acceptance or rejection of good and evil, and because it transcends effort, practice, bondage, and attachment, even if one desires to attain Buddhahood, one does not escape the precipice. In whatever state of reality is not established, one binds oneself with meaningless dogmatic views of self. From the meaning of the cessation of the place of birth, those who hope to attain the unborn. They will never be liberated and will wander in samsara. Look at the great self-liberation that is beyond words. This is the instruction. To become accustomed to such meaning is to meditate by realizing the meaning that is not seen by other vehicles. To realize the high and low of views in an instant. It is like climbing to the summit of Mount Meru and seeing the four continents in an instant. Therefore, it is called the method of Mount Meru abiding. The best of those who become accustomed to this, the intermediate in the bardo, and the lowest will surely be liberated in the spontaneously (395) manifested pure land. The third, the view accomplished by that method, is called the complete liberation of the three realms. When viewed by a yogi who has realized the Great Perfection. There is not a single phenomenon of appearance and existence, samsara and nirvana, that is not liberated. At first, there was no delusion. Now, it does not abide in delusion. Finally, it is impossible to be deluded. Therefore, it is called the great primordial liberation of the six realms. Thus, by placing it on the basis of realization, all the afflictions that are included in acceptance and rejection, hope and fear, abandonment and adoption, and grasping and clinging, are like the rapids of a river.
