From... Who is accustomed to light? In the realm of experience seen by oneself, the appearances of the four elements—earth, water, fire, and wind—naturally subside, and one gradually experiences the five colors. This is a sign of being inseparable from light. In the realm of experience seen by others, one is unimpeded like a madman, able to pass through mountains and rocks, and similarly able to enter underground (450). One will also not sink in water. So it is said. That is also, first, from seeing the atoms of the body, the light becomes clear and bright, and the movement of wind ceases. Merely focusing awareness on the appearance of earth and stones can cause them to melt, and focusing on animate objects can cause them to move and make sounds, and so on. In Thalgyur it says: The direct appearance of reality ceases, the appearance of earth and stones melts, self-awareness merges into anything, and when it merges, animate objects move, the measure of the movement of wind is grasped, the atoms of the body are seen, whatever form appears is perfected into that body, and in that, the father and mother embrace, everything is in a circular contour, the yogi's body is also luminous, appearing as walking, coming, and abiding. Everything is awareness reaching perfection. So it is said. That is also, first, when all the grossness of both inner and outer is exhausted, the inner wind-mind reaches perfection, the qualities of wind, many siddhis are accomplished, and because one has gained mastery over the mind, it is a sign that awareness merges into anything. Moving and making sounds, being without afflictions, and not needing food and clothing will arise. At that time, one will be able to see the atoms. After that, the body is liberated into light, and...
