The body is invisible, speech is imperceptible, and the mind is not a clarifying entity but is ceased. In the state of immutability, without moving (361), it performs the benefit of beings to be tamed, hence it is called all-pervading and universal. At that time, when dissolving into the expanse, the previous appearances all dissolve, and from the manner of the example of dissolving, they dissolve with outer clarity and inner clarity. The pacification in the unbiased expanse is like light dissolving into light, clear like unbiased crystal light dissolving into it. The body dissolving into the body, the knowing aspect is clear within, like the body in a vase. Wisdom dissolving into wisdom, awareness is liberated on the ground, like a child entering its mother's lap. Non-duality dissolving into non-duality, phenomena and dharmata intermingle, like water dissolving into water. The end of liberation dissolving into the end of liberation, dharmata abiding in its own nature, like the space in a vase dissolving into the space of the ground. Compassion dissolving into compassion, beings to be tamed and the tamer disappearing into the expanse, like the rays of the setting sun. The impure door of samsara dissolving into pure wisdom, samsara and nirvana uniting in the expanse, like gathering the thread of sound. The pure door of wisdom dissolving into essence, gaining stability in primordial purity, like a lion (362) occupying a snow mountain. In general, since all of samsara and nirvana are said to be self-appearances, on the self-appearance of the ground appearance, the lower beings to be tamed appear like samsara, the higher tamers appear like nirvana, the expanse is liberated, and the ground of samsara and nirvana appears in non-duality, it is spoken in relation to this. The way of benefiting beings by emanation in the bardo is that light radiates directly from the mouth of the sambhogakaya, going down to the realms of the six classes of beings, appearing as their respective teachers and performing benefit. Moreover, emanations arise from three unions. As it is said, the union of the mouth of the sambhogakaya, the union in the womb corresponding to the karma of the six classes of beings, the union of benefiting beings corresponding to self-appearance appears, and later it is liberated in the expanse. Thus, those with the best habituation are liberated in the manner of the union of the sun and moon, liberated at the same time as abandoning the body and the arising of clear light, so appearances below that do not arise. Those of middling capacity are liberated in either the appearance of union or wisdom, and the lowest are liberated from the appearance of spontaneous accomplishment. Also, wherever (363) liberation occurs, the appearance up to liberation arises and dissolves into the expanse, so there are no appearances below that. Wherever these are liberated, they are

At the first moment, recognize; second, decide; third, abide in the intention; fourth, manifest awareness arises and self-liberates, and emanates apparitions. Fifth, when dissolving into the expanse of the Dharmadhatu, spontaneous accomplishment also dissolves into primordial purity. It is because external appearances dissolve into the Dharmadhatu. The fourth meaning is the way of continuing: the least diligent of this Dharma breathe out into apparitions. Also, those who have obtained the key point of recognition but have not had time to practice meditation are liberated through rebirth. Thus, even though the appearance of spontaneous accomplishment arises, because there is no familiar samadhi, arising and ceasing are simultaneous, so the self-appearance is not recognized, and the appearance vanishes on its own. The consciousness of the power separated from the body wanders aimlessly without support, like an appearance in a dream, with a mind-made body that is unobstructed anywhere, possessing the magical power of karma, with the appearance of past habitual patterns, going to all places related to relatives (364), but knowing that they have died because they are not seen. At that time, the bardo being is frightened, remembers the lama and takes refuge, and when remembering the instructions, the best are liberated by knowing in the state of true non-existence and luminosity, as it is said. The middling are liberated by abiding in the generation and completion stages like illusion, as it is said. But because it is extremely difficult, it is only a continuation of past good habitual patterns. The lowest should focus on the pure land in their minds and avert with refuge, as it is said. But this is with the intention of averting bad womb abodes. That is also half of the previous habitual patterns and half of the later appearances arise. In the bardo, knowing that all appearances are self-appearances and confused, one should remember the key points of the instructions. Abandon bad womb abodes and choose good ones to enter. That is, in hell, there is dark rain; in pretas, there is mud and filth; in animals, there are rocks and tangled trees; in humans, there are mansions and crowds of people; in asuras, there are wheels of light; in gods, there are flower (365) gardens and immeasurable palaces, etc. Because the place of Dharma is human, choose to be human. When going there, men and women engage in sexual intercourse, or just rejoice together, or the appearance of either parent, etc., is uncertain, in the center of the lotus sun and moon in the mother's womb, contemplate Hūṃ (Tibetan: ཧཱུྃ, Sanskrit Devanagari: हुँ, Sanskrit Romanization: hūṃ, Chinese literal meaning: 吽), and when your consciousness enters, may you obtain the enlightenment that liberates from this basis of taking rebirth! With that aspiration, the rDo
