Since it does not gather anywhere, wind-mind is liberated on the ground. Without grasping at appearances and non-appearances, it dissolves into the expanse of Kuntuzangpo. (147) Therein, the four appearances that are spoken of arise, but since there is no grasping there, there is liberation. Here, although the yogi gathers wind-mind in the channels of samsara and nirvana, there is no affirmation or negation. By transforming the way of looking and the angle of vision, and by not thinking about anything, one is liberated from those appearances. The yogi who meditates in this way, at all times, day and night, outwardly, the clear light of appearance arises; inwardly, the clear light of emptiness arises. Method and wisdom, the realm of awareness, are inseparable. Outwardly, the clear light is the appearance of method; inwardly, the clear light is the appearance of wisdom. The view is without limit or partiality. The meditation is of pure, self-luminous abiding. The conduct is of the self-liberation of the six aggregates. The result is without hope or fear, spontaneously accomplished by its own nature. Although various lights and appearances appear, the purity of the nature of reality manifests as the miraculous display of unbornness, like the appearance of a moon in water. Everything arises from unbornness, and as soon as it arises, it is unborn. (148) Birth and non-birth are the same. Various appearances are free from elaboration. Its nature is non-dual, boundless, and transcendent. It is the intention of Kuntuzangpo, Father and Mother. Thus, when the awareness of the yogi who realizes that all phenomena are appearances without inherent existence, like reflections, is introduced, self-awareness is uninterrupted, vividly clear, Kuntuzangpo. Clear but without grasping, empty and clear, this is the intention of Kuntuzangmo. At that time, the clear light is without grasping. In the state of the four lamps, the twenty-five great qualities are also perfected. The clinging to the senses, such as the eyes, is reversed, and there is no conceptualization. The clinging to the aggregates, such as form, is reversed, and the wombs of the six realms are emptied. The clinging to external objects is reversed, and one is pacified in non-duality. The substance of mind is burned, and the arising of self-liberated mind occurs. Since the feeling is determined in its place, ego-grasping is destroyed. Since the appearance of gathered feelings is recognized as self-appearance, it is self-awareness. Since awareness is seized in the diligence of the nature of reality, samsara is emptied. (149) The source of the delusion's self-continuum is determined, and self-light is recognized. One gradually liberates the six realms by oneself, and cuts off the precipice of the six realms. One emerges from the pit of samsara and does not return. Since phenomena fall downwards, one realizes the measure of the meaning of the nature of reality. The source of the corpse is burned, and the wisdom of

Having obtained a body, severing the chain of attachment, habitual tendencies are naturally purified. Entrusting the lineage to Ar, awareness abides in the expanse. Seeing the five lights as the seals of the deities, awareness is naturally clear. Reversing the view and meditation of conceptual mind, one obtains the Dharmakaya, the all-illuminating, pure, and stainless. Cutting through the grounds and paths simultaneously, effort is naturally pacified in its own place. Severing the root of the view that grasps with conceptual mind, one is free from pride. Perfecting the three kayas on the path, confusion is purified from the very beginning. Appearances are raised as reality, thoughts become manifest. Severing attachment to sound, one vanquishes the fear of the four maras. Pressing down on the ground of great contemplation, one is free from all aims and fixations. From the outside (150), severing the manifest attachment of hoping to become a Buddha, hope and fear are naturally liberated. Accomplishing activities to the end, benefit for beings is spontaneously accomplished. The prince pressing down on the great earth, the Dharmadhatu is inexhaustible. Thus, the qualities spoken of from liberation from bondage, a single yogi now obtains, therefore liberation is here. For a person accustomed in this way, samadhi and clairvoyance, eyes and magical powers, and so forth, arise. Thus, abiding in the clear light day and night, being free from all mind, intellect, and consciousness, the great samadhi of the continuous clear light arises. From that, clairvoyance, such as knowing the minds of others, and divine eyes, such as clearly seeing Jambudvipa and so forth from the meditation chamber, and magical powers, such as transforming the body into various forms and going in the sky, and other immeasurable qualities arise. This is the instruction of becoming accustomed in this life. Second, the clear light of the bardo (151) is: When the elements gradually dissolve, and space dissolves into the clear light, the appearances of the five lights in the space realm arise in various ways, and between self-awareness, the five rays stand erect like stretched ropes, when the wisdom of awareness recognizes that as its own appearance, this is the intention of Samantabhadra, the father. Recognizing self-appearance, even though it appears as five lights to oneself, without grasping at the light, relaxing without fixation, this is the intention of Samantabhadri, the mother. That is, in the first instant, one recognizes one's own nature with the intention of the father. Second, with the intention of the mother, one abides in non-dual samadhi. Third, on the primordial ground, dissolving into the inner clarity, spontaneously accomplished jewel, this is called the nirvana of the Buddha. Now, repeatedly training in the clear light that appears, is a crucial instruction.
