Due to clinging to the place of birth, clinging to the light of external appearances, the illusions of the external world, such as the four continents, Mount Meru, and various others, appear as containers. Clinging to the light of inner nature, a body with habitual imprints is formed. This again arises from the five lights becoming the five gross elements, from which the vessel and essence of the world mature. Secondly, the three and four aggregates reside like a lamp inside a vase, relying on a kati crystal tube within the heart, its essence being emptiness, its nature being clarity, and residing with the essence of unobstructed awareness of great compassion. This also, within the realm of the pure dimension's lamp of five lights (128), is the reality of the empty-dot lamp. In the center of what appears as the circumference of five lights, like a small house, awareness itself is aware, without grasping or being grasped, it is the lamp of self-arising wisdom, residing as the essence of the five kayas. Its radiance dwells in all the veins and petals, the actual path, the lasso of water's lamp, is like the stars and planets clear in water. The radiance of the empty-dot lamp, in the middle of whatever appears as the nature of light, opens and dwells in the external empty form. From there, outwards, within the rainbow of the dimension's appearance, the self-radiant empty-dot lamp within the heart and eyes, and various threads and subtle points appear. This is the state of wisdom. The mind is connected from the heart to the lungs by a vein, from which the radiance of awareness arises, mixes with the air of the lungs, and manifests through the five senses, becoming the basis for grasping, dualistic clinging, and habitual imprints. Thirdly, the way to practice the essence of the spontaneously accomplished jewel of the empty-clear dharmakaya, the way the clear-empty nature appears in the bardo (129), the way to practice the essence of the wisdom-illusion of the sambhogakaya, the way the compassionate awareness-emptiness nirmanakaya now appears, and the way to practice the essence of the conceptual habitual imprints, there are three. The first is, according to whatever way of residing or looking is pure and solitary, when focusing on the self-radiance of the clear sky, free from clouds, without distraction, looking at the appearance of the great wisdom's light, the dimension-awareness of the five lights, the self-radiance of the pure nature of reality, the wisdom free from all grasping and elaboration, the empty-clear self-arising wisdom lamp, the meaning without limit or partiality arises from within. Remaining in that state, because of the appearance of clear light, dullness and sleep

No hesitation. Because there is no object of focus, there is no regret. Because dualistic grasping is destroyed, there is no doubt. The intention of the great spontaneously accomplished nature abides in the three bodies without separation. At that time, the emptiness of the sky is the shell of the spontaneously accomplished jewel (130). The light that appears first is the mandala of the five inner clear wisdoms. By looking at that, the mind does not focus on anything inside or outside, and knowing the clarity is spontaneously accomplished as great compassion inner clarity. At that time, sinking but not dull, clear but not grasping, is but without self, separate but not mixed, and not separated. At that time, three samadhis arise: by placing the manner of looking, all the elaborations of the grasped and the grasper are pacified, and abiding in the state of emptiness and clarity as appropriate is the abiding samadhi. By becoming accustomed to that, in long meditation, the mind of the grasped and the grasper does not waver and is not distracted, which is the unwavering samadhi. By becoming thoroughly accustomed to that, at all times, knowing abides as it does during meditation, which is the spontaneously accomplished samadhi. Now, by practicing in this way, later, in the appearance of the spontaneously accomplished jewel, there is no doubt that one will recognize one's own face. This is the most important point. Second, the intention of the union of light networks. (131) The intention of the five spontaneously accomplished bodies. The intention of original purity, exhaustion of phenomena. Among the three that are practiced with examples, the first is that in the midst of blue light, white, yellow, red, and green swirl, and in the midst of each of white, yellow, red, and green, the patterns of those swirling are spread on the surface of the sun, and by looking at the mirror from the night direction, when the five appearances gradually appear in the sky, knowing that it is the appearance of the five lights of the first bardo, in self-appearance, one abides in the state of clear emptiness, free from elaboration. By becoming accustomed to that, one is liberated in the appearance of clear light compassion. It is the most important point. The second is that the mandala of the clusters of the five families is gradually spread out as before, and by looking at it, in the five days of meditation, one is liberated into the body that appears as a youthful vase body. This is the most important point. The third is that on a night when the sky is free of clouds, when the planets and stars spontaneously appear, by looking at it in any way one pleases, the wisdom of emptiness and clarity, free from elaboration (132), will appear. Also, the pure sky is the shell of the spontaneously accomplished jewel, symbolizing original purity, and the planets and stars appearing as clear light are:
