Like the pure sky, without any stains, empty and clear, uncompounded, nothing is established in it, therefore it is without elaboration and characteristics, it is the peaceful Dharmakaya, primordially empty and without root. Such a meaning, the great ultimate liberation itself, is not made by anyone, but is spontaneously accomplished from the beginning, therefore it is the Sambhogakaya of unborn Dharma-nature, unobstructed and vast, pervading all appearances, existence, samsara and nirvana. All appearances, existence, samsara and nirvana are also the Dharma-nature of primordial liberation and emptiness. Not deviating from the intention of the three times without change, it is the Nirmanakaya of unborn spontaneous perfection, vast and all-pervasive. Thus, from the ground up, it is the unborn Dharma-nature, primordially empty and without root, the great state of unmade spontaneous perfection, which abides as the essence of all dharmas, therefore, in the essence of awareness and wisdom, it is also emptiness and free from elaboration. That is the intention. Secondly, in the "Longsal" it says: The awareness that abides in the body also, outwardly, is the nature of peaceful and wrathful, inwardly, is the Dakini yab-yum, secretly, is the nature of letters, (199) and most secretly, is the single thigle. As it says, here, outwardly, it is combined with the body, which is the way the mandala of peaceful and wrathful abides; inwardly, it is combined with speech, in the five chakras, the way the wisdom dakini is established as letters; secretly, it is combined with mind, the way there is a clear and non-elaborate thigle in the heart, these three. Among them, the first is where it abides, that is the way the mandala of light is established, and the three examples that explain this abiding. The first is in the "Norbü Trakö" it says: The precious eight-sided palace, the palace of the moving channels, the palace of the conch shell bhandha, and the palace of the viewing eye. These four great palaces are the great secret places of all secret mantras. As it says. Also, in the "Thalgyur" it says: In the general and citta channels, the unmade pure Dharma-nature abides. As it says. Also, in the "Longsal" it says: Inside the body of all sentient beings, the citta conch shell channel inner door, that is the place of awareness. As it says. Secondly, in the "Longsal" it says: The essence (200) empty and clear abides as the body, the nature clear and empty like sesame light, compassion appearing empty appears as a lamp. As it says. Here, the way the essence abides as the peaceful and wrathful body, the way the nature abides as light and thigle, and the way compassion abides as the lamp of wisdom, these three.

Firstly, from the 'Original Purity Tantra': Within the mind, the body abides, The radiant body has five aspects, Each holding the characteristics of its own lineage. Thus it is said. How does it hold the characteristics? From 'Lion's Complete Strength': Secret gathering, precious eight-cornered treasury, Wisdom of awareness, father and mother form, Meaning-filled bhāṇḍa, palace treasury, Wisdom of awareness abides in wrathful form. Thus it is said. And from 'Subtle Arrangement': Emaho! The way of awareness abides, In the center of each mind, It abides in the form of father and mother, The father's part holds the body of method, The mother's part holds the body of wisdom, It abides in the form of light and rays, Adorned with space and awareness, It abides as a spontaneously complete great bindu. That is the way of peaceful abiding. On each head, it abides wrathfully, Appearing as father and mother, Holding the form of wrathful and wrathful mother (201), Endowed with fivefold wisdoms, On each wisdom of the body, Are fivefold wisdoms of the head. Thus it is said. And from 'Clear Expanse': Self-awareness, essence, body abides, Clear, but nature unestablished, Within the heart, father and mother, peaceful form, In the skull chamber, it abides in wrathful form. Thus it is said. Therefore, now on one's own body, the two mandalas of peaceful and wrathful, naturally present, shining brightly like a felt tent of a felt hat, clear within like a lamp inside a vase. As the 'Original Purity Tantra' says: Essence, a part pure from the beginning, Union of emptiness and clarity, radiance of the body, Face and hands complete, the form of the vase body. Thus it is said. Explaining this in detail, among the two mandalas of peaceful and wrathful, first, the peaceful mandala is in one's own heart, in the space of the precious mind, relying on a conventional bindu the size of a mustard seed, in the expanse of the five lights, the forty-two peaceful deities abide. That is, in the center of the five lights, transparent like a silk tent, the primordial protector, unchanging light, Dharmakāya Samantabhadra father and mother, the sphere of dharma, free from elaboration, the primordial (202) original purity, the great radiance of the body, dark blue, abiding in union, from the radiance of the five wisdoms, in the middle, the Sambhogakāya five families, father and mother, abide like a rainbow. That is, in the center, on a throne adorned with lions, lotuses, moons, and suns, Vairochana, all-facing, the self-radiance of the wisdom of the sphere of dharma, dark blue, abiding in union with the mother Ākāśadhātvīśvarī, is the central Samantabhadra.
