Like that, there are three ways to rely on the guru: through material offerings, through body and speech, and through practice to please him. The first is, even if the guru himself does not desire it, to offer mandalas made of grains, medicines, and various jewels, and to offer the essence of delicious food and drinks. If he desires, to deceive and offer one's own sons, daughters, servants, and wives, as well as other people's sons and daughters, and to honor him with whatever form of wealth and goods pleases him. As it says in "Klong gsal": "Offer precious sons and the essence of wealth, what is most cherished and pleasing to the mind." The merit is stated in the Tantra of the Origin of the Ocean of Ambrosia: "Even if you were to offer offerings filling the three thousand worlds, adorned with various jewels, to the Buddhas filling the sky, it would not compare to applying a single drop of butter to a single hair of the guru. Hundreds of thousands of merits cannot compare." The second has three aspects. Pleasing with the body means accomplishing the guru's activities without sparing the body, as well as prostrations, circumambulations, rising when he stands, and so on. If someone opposes the guru, being able to subdue the opponent, and so on. As it says in the glorious Tantra of the Origin of Ambrosia: "If someone with a malicious mind (16) acts to harm the guru, and you kill him yourself, even if you take the lives of a hundred thousand beings, the merit of this cannot be compared. Completing the guru's activities is also the same as that." So it says. Pleasing with speech means taking the guru's teachings and explaining them to others, praising his qualities, and speaking pleasantly, thereby harmonizing with the guru's mind. The merit is stated in the Tantra of the Wheel of Maturation and Play: "Pleasing the guru with speech through supreme wisdom is superior to the Dharma spoken by all the Buddhas. Even if someone reads and speaks it for hundreds of thousands of eons, the merit is immeasurable." So it says. Pleasing with the mind has two aspects. Pleasing with faith and respect means constantly remembering the guru's qualities and generating great longing with devotion and reverence. The merit is, as it says in the same text: "Among qualities, faith is the most supreme. It is incomparable to pleasing the Buddhas filling the three thousand worlds with offerings filling the three thousand worlds." So it says. The second is pleasing with Samādhi (17) is the guru's

The practice of La ritual is: Outer Lama is the incarnate body, Inner Lama is the peaceful and wrathful complete enjoyment body, Secret Lama is the peaceful Dharmadhatu body, resting in a state free from all elaborations, and so on. Or as stated in the respective sadhanas. Alternatively, visualize oneself as the deity, and from the union of the sun and moon on top of the various lotuses on the crown of the head, white Ah (藏文:ཨ,梵文天城体:अ,梵文罗马拟音:a,汉语字面意思:阿) radiates light, visualizing all outer and inner vessels and contents as the pure lands of deities. Invite the Lama's three bodies, the nature of great bliss, surrounded by countless Buddhas, Bodhisattvas, heroes, and heroines, to reside on the lotus and moon on the crown of the head. Mentally prostrate, make offerings, confess sins, rejoice in merits, request the turning of the Dharma wheel, pray not to abandon samsara until samsara is empty, and pray for one's own realization, samadhi, compassion, bodhicitta, and any desired meaning (18). From the body, speech, and mind of the Lamas, three rays of white, red, and blue light emanate, touching the body, speech, and mind of oneself and all sentient beings, purifying the obscurations of the three doors, fulfilling deficiencies, and visualizing the attainment of any desired accomplishment. Finally, from the thumb of the Lama's foot, the nectar of bodhicitta flows like a stream of milk, filling the five places of one's crown, throat, heart, navel, and secret place, thereby obtaining the five poisons and the five bodies, and attaining the accomplishment of the nature of the five wisdoms. Then, the Lamas dissolve into light and merge into oneself. One's own self also dissolves into light, not abiding in any entity, resting in the state of the Great Perfection of self-nature. Afterward, dedicate the merit for the benefit of all sentient beings. The benefits of practicing the yoga of four sessions day and night are: temporarily pleasing everyone, fulfilling all wishes, pacifying all diseases, evil spirits, and obstacles, constantly generating the three, compassion, and bodhicitta, generating samadhi and special realization in the mindstream, pleasing the Lama (19) and proclaiming the supreme secret treasury, increasing the effectiveness of view, meditation, and action, gathering Dakinis like clouds, and retinue.
