The objects and consciousness of the five aggregates and seven collections are confused, transforming into three bodies: the formless realm's samadhi mind-body, the form realm's dhyana light-body, and the desire realm's coarse flesh and blood body. In the formless realm, one relies on the peaceful, single-pointed, non-conceptual mind and the four aggregates of name. In the form realm, one relies on the mind of dhyana, the five light aggregates, with a consciousness that is largely vipashyana (insight) and not connected to correct prajna (wisdom). In the desire realm, one relies on the coarse flesh and blood body, with a conceptual mind that moves in various ways. So, how is it that in the upper two realms there is non-conceptual consciousness in samadhi, while in the desire realm there is only conceptual thought? Samsara in the three realms is a shared clinging. Although samsara is the same, the supports are different and distinct. Because in the upper two realms there is no coarse body, there are no coarse nadis, prana, or bindus. Because these are absent, the radiance of awareness is only inwardly clear, and conceptual thoughts do not arise. Moreover, in the formless realm, awareness is only inwardly clear, a single-pointed non-conceptuality, and there is no object to grasp outwardly. In the form realm, the consciousness is coarser than that of the formless realm (141), but conceptual thoughts are not as manifest as in the desire realm. Because there is a light-body that serves as a support and a manifestor. In the desire realm, because there is a coarse body, the nadis, prana, and bindus are coarse. Moreover, the radiance of awareness moves with the horse of prana, and grasping and fixating on various external and internal objects, conceptual thoughts easily arise coarsely. So, if there is a light-body in the form realm, it should be possible to attain liberation effortlessly. Because you, the Secret Essence practitioners, believe that liberation is attained by obtaining the light-body. The light-body of the form realm does not have the complete power of the three kayas—essence, nature, and compassion—so it cannot be liberated. But in the desire realm, the power is complete at the time of delusion, so liberation is attained when the light-body is accomplished. Furthermore, in the form realm, there are no nadis in which the appearance of clear light jñana arises, so the pure lands of the three kayas are not seen. But in the desire realm, there are nadis with kati crystal tubes connected to the far-reaching water lamp, so clear light is seen. Moreover, the light-body of the form realm is a body obtained from the ripening karmic imprints (142), and is an obscuration. But in Dzogchen, the light-body of the desire realm is a light-body without ripening karmic imprints, due to the habituation of clear light jñana, so there is no such fault. Thus,

All explanations of the three bases of delusion arise in the spontaneously present realm, embraced by compassion. Therefore, there is no basis of delusion apart from the cycle of the three realms and six classes of beings. As the "String of Pearls" states: "Though many appearances of the basis of delusion are explained, they are only spontaneous presence and compassion." So it is said. How then are these three modes of delusion? The difference is as follows: Just as three paths coming from three different directions converge in one place, similarly, from the primordial ground, the three different ways in which awareness manifests are fixated upon, resulting in three modes of delusion similar to the result, and the outer and inner worlds are formed as one. Furthermore, if one measures a single ground from the perspective of three different ways of viewing it, although three forms appear, they do not go beyond a single meaning. Similarly, the noble movement (143) from the ground, which is the essence of awareness, can be divided into three forms: coarse, subtle, and extremely subtle, as well as outer, inner, and secret. However, it is the same single consciousness that establishes delusion that measures them. As the "Secret Circle" states: "Though three bases of delusion are explained, the consciousness of delusion is coarse, subtle, and minute. In the nature of the three essences, only differences are distinguished." So it is said. Therefore, the way of delusion is seen as extremely difficult to understand if thoroughly investigated, and the previous teachers had many different views, and various forms were taught from different tantras and agamas. For the benefit of future generations, I have clearly set forth the meaning that I have well understood, and now it is exhausted by seeing and knowing. Second, the detailed explanation of how the body is formed in particular: As the "Clear Expanse" states: "Wisdom and ignorance grasp the object. From the union of grasping, wind, and mind, it enters the womb of the five elements. Having entered there, from the arising and ceasing of the elements, the five aggregates of affliction are formed." Therefore, here the way in which the vajra body is formed is shown. Arrangement (144): Briefly explained by the structure of the body. Abiding: Explained in detail by the three: channels, drops, and wind. Non-duality: Summarizing the meaning in great wisdom. Among these three ways, the first is that, as previously explained, in samsara, the deluded consciousness exists in the mental body of the intermediate state. Then, it arrives at the place where male and female engage in intercourse. If one is born as a male, one hates the father and is attached to the mother; if one is born as a female, one hates the mother and is attached to the father.
