At that time, ignorance is cleared away, and wisdom increases because there are no habitual patterns. The Dharmakaya, self-knowing by itself, is spontaneously accomplished without moving from that. Therefore, it is self-arisen without cause or condition. Have faith and confidence in that. Free from the ignorance produced by the four conditions, therefore, it has never fallen into samsara. Now again, Vajrasattva, listen! Know the mindlessness, self-knowing, as the Dharmakaya. There is no need to accomplish great qualities. There is no Buddha of definitive meaning, bliss, and happiness. Therefore, it has never entered nirvana. Because there is no conceptualization, there is no obscuration. The meaning of that, the self-arisen essence, is free from hope and fear because there is no abandonment or attainment. Because it is not stained by any faults, all qualities are complete without cultivation. Samantabhadra is established in oneself. Because there are no fierce causes and conditions, it is called the Dharmakaya without object. (Page 115) Now again, Vajrasattva, listen! Buddhas and sentient beings do not exist on the ground. For the mindless, self-arisen Samantabhadra, there is no teacher, so it is a self-arisen body. Without hearing or thinking, self-knowing is realized. Because there is no ignorance, it is free from mind. Wonderful awareness is the speech of the Victorious Ones. Mindless, knowing all aspects. Because there are no four elements, it is unconditioned. Therefore, it is a formless wisdom body. Because there is no samsara, it is completely pure. All Buddhas are of definite meaning. It is a great teaching for all future generations. Realizing that is through my blessing. May the Buddhas of the three times listen. Nirvana arises from beginninglessness and endlessness. For the benefit of beings, it shows two form bodies. Thus it is said. Also, from the Tantra of Consulting the Intent, the way in which the primordial Samantabhadra is liberated on the ground: Now again, listen, assembled Bodhisattvas! At that time, Samantabhadra, with six dharmas, after destroying the six ignorances of the ground element, from the sprout, only a little mind is emptied. Because a little awareness arises, awareness diminishes and is destroyed. Because it is clear and bright, darkness is gone and cleared. Because it arises with a "wal" (Page 116), there is no dimness. Because it is free from exaggeration and denigration, ignorance is purified. Because there is no change, it is like the sky. Now again, Vajrasattva, listen! By destroying the mistaken ignorance, it is self-destroyed and emptied without being predicted. Because the dull and the aware are separated, it meets with the ground. Therefore, the darkness of ignorance is cleared away, like the sun rising on Mount Potala. Thus it is said. From the primordial ground, when the first instant arises, in that way, appearance is spontaneously accomplished. Spontaneously accomplished, self-appearance. Self-appearance is wisdom. Wisdom is primordially liberated. Primordially liberated.

Self-awareness. Since self-awareness is the Dharmakaya, the wisdom of compassion manifests outwardly, arising like a sprout in an instant. Having realized these six dharmas, the six kinds of ignorance separate from its essence are naturally purified. From the appearance of grasping and being grasped, it is naturally liberated. Self-appearance is clear as body and wisdom, and all that has gone into darkness due to self-ignorance is cleared away. The wisdom of self-awareness arises brightly, and in the second instant, although it dwells in the great clarity of the original ground, there is no dimness, like a lamp in a vase, attaining enlightenment in the youthful vase body (117). The appearance of clinging to the appearance of nirvana, and the imputation of the appearance of samsara, free from the hope and fear of the two doors, reaching the ultimate in the original ground, abiding immovably like the sky. At that time, all the delusions of self-awareness are naturally purified. The consciousness of the knower, which has not been established in either good or evil, the unindicated, the outward manifestation that arises like a sprout in the first instant, also dissolves into the inner in the second instant, which is called self-destruction. Because the awareness cannot maintain itself in that state and perishes. At that time, the outward manifestation is not mistaken for matter, but is known as awareness, so matter and awareness are distinguished, and the appearance of the five lights that appear outward also dissolves into the nature of the inner light in that same instant, which is called the meeting of the mother and child of the original ground of manifestation and awareness. Therefore, when consciousness reaches the original ground, the darkness of ignorance is cleared away. When appearance reaches the original ground, it is like the sun rising on Mount Potala. The essence, the Dharmadhatu, is contained in the sapphire treasure, and the appearance of the self-luminous body and wisdom is contained within. (118) The wisdom of compassion, the inner clarity of awareness, all non-conceptual omniscient wisdom is absorbed into the Dharmadhatu, like the sun rising in a cloudless autumn sky. Such inner clarity, the five lights accompanied by compassion, when it dwells in the self-arisen treasure, is called the original sound of the purity of Dharmata. Awareness dwells in the house of light, in the appearance of limitless light. As it is said in the Lamp Ornamentation: Color is the nature of light, the body, Not permanent, nor a thing, Not annihilation, but the body of light, Like the sun, rainbow, and sky. In short, the original all
