There are three kinds of perfections in total: five perfections of the basis of abiding, five perfections of the path of practice, and five perfections of the ultimate result. The first has five: The perfection of the basic place is the Dharmadhatu, free from elaboration. The perfection of the basic teacher is self-arisen wisdom. The perfection of the basic retinue is body and wisdom. The perfection of the basic teaching is the suchness of the Great Perfection of the natural state. The perfection of the basic time is without beginning or end. As it is said in the Heap of Jewels: "The empty place of non-existence, the Dharma of great bliss is without cessation." Also, it says: "The original first Buddha, from the distinction of lineage and wisdom, in the self-sound of the emptiness of Dharmata, from the very beginning turned the wheel of Dharma, without beginning, middle, or end." Thus. The second has five perfections of the abiding body and five perfections of the appearing place, two in total. The first, the perfection of the place of the body (66), is the Chittā and the palace of the conch shell. The perfection of the teacher abiding there is the essence of awareness, whose nature is primordially pure. The perfection of its retinue is the spontaneously accomplished, self-luminous mandala. The perfection of its teaching is the luminous qualities of the channels, energies, and bindus. The perfection of its time is the complete interdependence of the body. As it is said in the Thallyur: "In the beginning of samsara and nirvana, from the self-arisen, uncreated, the aggregates of the elements arise, earth, water, fire, wind, the basis of preciousness. In the immeasurable accumulation and generation, self-arisen awareness is uncreated. In the complete purification of delusion, the retinue of the accumulation of great bliss surrounds. Body and wisdom, knowledge and energy, in the indivisible various objects, the great bliss Dharma of the channels and energies of skillful means, is taught in accordance with each experience. There is no past, future, or present. Undivided, division is completely absent. All is self-arisen wisdom." Thus. The second, the perfection of the appearing place, is: the outer space is empty and cloudless, the inner space is the arising of the perfectly pure lamp. Its teacher is the Vajra Chain. The perfection of its retinue is the appearance of body and bindus. (67

Its doctrine's perfection is self-awareness, clear and without conceptualization. Its time's perfection is the completeness of either the view or the way of seeing. As it is said in the "Union of Sun and Moon": "In the difference between that which is external and internal, self-awareness is the teacher who appears first. The bindus of body and wisdom, etc., become a retinue of non-conceptual varieties. The manner of the instruction of the practice of the oral teachings, the habituation to that is also the time." So it is said. The third, the five perfections of the ultimate result are: The place perfection is the original exhaustion point, the great expanse of the primordially pure Dharmadhatu. Its teacher's perfection is the omniscient wisdom of self-awareness. Its retinue's perfection is enjoying the assembly appearing as body and wisdom. Its doctrine's perfection is the uncontaminated bliss swirling in one space. Its time's perfection is when the ultimate realization of the three bodies inseparable manifests. As it is said in the "Burning Lamp": "From the mandala of the immeasurable clarity of the basis of emptiness, arranging the great appearance of the dwelling manner of the great world system (68), which is neither the same nor different, and in the space where the unobstructed activity of the great primordially self-clear appears, from the unobstructed self-arising of awareness, this unspeakable meaning was spoken." So it is said. Thus, with two topics, the five perfections of the ultimate meaning of words are well shown. In short, the true teacher, the thought of the three bodies inseparable, wherever it pervades, with the wisdom of the essential meaning, becomes the great essence possessing the five perfections, and because all of samsara and nirvana are spontaneously accomplished with great primordial pervasiveness, all are primordially enlightened. These are the explanation of the concise instruction of the oral teaching of the perfection of the topic. Third, the extensive explanation of the oral teachings of the three, base, path, and fruit, among which, first, showing the state of the base, second, showing the manner of taking up the path, and third, showing the manner of liberation of the fruit, among which, the first has five, namely, before either samsara or nirvana is established, showing the state of the nature of the base, and the manner of the spontaneous (69) arising from that, and that, with awareness, becomes the primordial Samantabhadra.

It explains how to be liberated on the ground, how sentient beings of the three realms wander in samsara due to ignorance, and how the primordial Buddha abides in the realm of sentient beings. The first part includes three aspects: the abiding of the primordial nature, the manifestation of samsara and nirvana, and how to eliminate disputes about it. The first part includes a brief explanation, a detailed explanation, and a summary of the main points. The first part is from the "Lamp Burning Tantra": From the great realm of the original primordial purity, the nature itself is like this, not made by anyone, naturally clear, it itself is the nature. And in the "Mirror of the Heart" it says: One should know that all the dharmas of the ground are the three: essence, nature, and compassion. And, one should know that all the dharmas of essence are emptiness, one should know that all the dharmas of nature are luminosity, one should know that all the dharmas of compassion are all-pervasive. So, how does this kind of essence, which is one but manifests without mixing, abide? The "Self-Arising Awareness Tantra" says: For example, uninterrupted wisdom, spontaneously accomplished Buddha, the nature of dharma free from elaboration, awareness free from extremes, the appearance of great purity, unbiased view, vast, clear, unchanging, wisdom unceasing, the nature of dharma without confusion, the outer not broken, the inner five lights of wisdom unceasing, abiding in the essence of body and wisdom. Therefore, at the time of the original ground, what is known is completely pure, the realm of objects and dharmas opens to emptiness, like the center of a clear sky; clear and without obscuration, like the surface of a clean mirror; clear and unmoving, like the depths of a clear ocean. In its essence, the awareness that is the basis abides in the three bodies, not established as either Buddha or sentient being, but the basis of whatever appears will not cease, the three of essence, nature, and compassion abide in it. The "Ornament of Clear Realization" says: Wisdom abides in its own nature, indivisible in three ways. And, in the nature of wisdom that is completely pure, it possesses the three: essence, nature, and compassion. These three are inwardly luminous, but outwardly not luminous, like a butter lamp in a glass bottle or jar. Luminosity and emptiness are inseparable, adorned with the essence of awareness, like a peacock egg. The essence Dharmakaya is spontaneously accomplished, like the inside of a jewel.
