manner. There are nine ways of arising. Fourth, there are three types of Nirmanakaya: the nature, taming beings, and impure Nirmanakaya. Third, there are three ways of liberation of Samantabhadra: the way of realization (495), the essence, and the way of benefiting others. The fourth general meaning, there are three ways of delusion of ignorant beings: briefly explaining the way of delusion in the three realms, explaining in detail the details of the formation of the body, and summarizing the meaning of Alaya with the way of karma, etc. The first has three: explaining the delusion from the outside, from the inside, and from the secret. The third has three: good karma, bad karma, and immovable karma. The way of generating mind in the four dhyanas, explaining the difference between correct and incorrect, explaining the way to enter the correct path. The fifth meaning, there are three ways in which the Buddha is present in the realm of sentient beings: briefly explaining the way of abiding of the essence, self-nature, and great compassion, explaining in detail the way of abiding of the difference between mind and wisdom, and summarizing the meaning by using it as the basis of samsara and nirvana. Secondly, there are three aspects: externally, the manner of abiding in the form of peaceful and wrathful deities in conjunction with the body; internally, (497) the manner of forming the letters of the wisdom dakini from the five chakras in conjunction with speech; secretly, the manner of abiding in the essence, the clear light, the bindu free from elaboration, in conjunction with the mind. The first has three aspects: the place, the essence, and the example. The essence has three aspects: the manner in which the essence abides as the body, the nature as light and bindu, and compassion as a lamp. Secondly, there are three aspects to the resonance of mind: the general presentation through the three aspects of mind, place, element, and essence; the specific explanation through the manner in which it is the resonance of wisdom; and the summarization of the meaning through the manner in which it abides in the nature of the Buddha. Thirdly, there are two aspects to the manner in which they meet and separate: the manner of meeting now and the manner of separating later. There are two aspects to that: temporary and ultimate. The second general topic, the manner of taking the path in between, has two aspects: the ripening empowerment and the liberating instruction. The first has five aspects: the qualities of empowerment, the faults of not empowering, the order and the actual, and the samaya. Fourthly, the actual empowerment has five aspects: empowerment with elaboration, empowerment without elaboration, empowerment with extreme non-elaboration, empowerment with utmost non-elaboration, and the supreme unsurpassed empowerment. (498) The first has two aspects: causing the unobtained to be obtained, and causing the obtained to be stabilized in the continuum. The second topic, the liberating instruction, has two aspects: the history of faith and the instruction arising from that. The first has three aspects: the faults of not explaining, the qualities of explaining, and the actual explanation. Secondly, there are three instructions: the instruction for those of supreme diligence to attain Buddhahood in this life, for those of intermediate diligence to attain Buddhahood in the bardo, and for those of lesser diligence to attain Buddhahood in the realm of the self-arisen nirmanakaya. The first has four aspects: the manner of showing how the preliminary stages are presented, the manner of stabilizing the uncontaminated wisdom in the continuum through the actual practice, the manner of the arising of the four visions afterwards, and the explanation of the pith instructions for the final reliance.
