It then manifests as a cracking appearance. The lord of all mandalas, from that very appearance, the Vajradhara body, complete with excellent marks and signs, the supreme perfection of all qualities, arises from the manifestation of a specially assembled support. The Sambhogakaya is self-manifest, pure, and from its appearance, the perfectly manifested Vajradhara body, a multitude of hundreds of thousands of millions of clusters of the five families, appear. This is due to the purity of merit. The appearance of the body is without inherent existence, like the moon in water. Due to the purity of the accumulation of karma, self-born wisdom arises from the wisdom of the heart, enjoying all aspects of omniscience. Thus, the great Vajradhara, the lord of appearances, arises spontaneously in a body perfected with innate qualities, through the power of the pure aspirations of beings (39), and from the pure integration of various activities into the minds of sentient beings, spontaneously and effortlessly. Thus, the self-manifest, pure, blissful realm, the teacher of the Dharmakaya, the mandala of clusters, all who abide in the intention of the three bodies inseparable, also perfectly enjoy the nature of the five perfections. The perfection of place is the pure Dharmadhatu, immeasurable and inconceivable. The perfection of the teacher is Samantabhadra, whose innate activities are effortlessly accomplished without exception. The perfection of the retinue is the perfect enjoyment of the appearance of body and wisdom, not other than itself, and the effortless accomplishment of countless hundreds of thousands of millions of Vajradharas from its power. The perfection of the Dharma is the Vajra of the self-existent Dharma, not created by anyone, the great intention of self-born luminosity. The perfection of time is when seeing purity in the nature of reality, it is spoken spontaneously and self-arising, transcending words and letters. In the lineage of a single Buddha-son (40), the teachers Samantabhadra, father and mother, bestowed teachings from the realm of self-existence, "Abide, self-manifest retinue, the sole self-born wisdom, is the only son of all Buddhas." Thus. At this time, the four external activities of the body are: unchanging, not coming, not going, and not abiding. The four internal ones are: not appearing, not

It is as and, not decreasing and, not gathering. The four secrets are: clarity, combination, remainder, dissipation. The four external actions of speech are: unspeakable, unshowable, invisible, slightly non-existent. The four internal ones are: in nature, Jinada, non-objective, non-plurality. The four secrets are: Soma, primordial, real, uncreated. The four external actions of mind are: the samadhi of stainlessness, the samadhi of the lion's roar, the samadhi of courageous conduct, and the samadhi of the wish-fulfilling jewel's crest. The four internal ones are: the tip of the victory banner (41) playing in various ways, a garland of lightning, a great wheel, and the samadhi of blazing light. The four secrets are: the mudra of subjugation, the great burning equality, the various natures of phenomena, and the samadhi called the play of self-appearance. Thus, the thirty-six great qualities of body, speech, and mind are said to be the actions of the very nature of the teacher Samantabhadra. These also arise as the twelve actions of the body from the mere abiding of the essence, thus completely perfecting all the actions of the Dharmakaya alone. From the mere abiding in the aspect of nature, the twelve actions of speech arise, thus perfecting the characteristics of the Sambhogakaya only in the uninterrupted aspect of the Sambhogakaya. From the mere abiding in the uninterrupted power of compassion, the twelve actions of mind are not separated or divided during the time of samadhi. Afterwards, appearance is self-appearance, clear and non-conceptual, and without self in mind, thus perfecting the characteristics of the Nirmanakaya. Thus (42), from the original ground, the realm of self-appearing luminosity arises, and the complete manifestation of the three bodies is the abiding of the peaceful Dharmakaya. Because that Dharmakaya is beyond the realm of action and agent, there is no difference between function and representation. Emanating in various ways from the Sambhogakaya and Nirmanakaya, the realm of beings and the way the teacher appears is: from the power of the manifestation aspect of the profound Sambhogakaya, the vast manifestation of the Sambhogakaya is through the gate of the five perfections.
