Is. The appearance of clear light is the footprint of all Tathagatas, hence it is the Tathagata family. That clear light is immutable, hence it is the Vajra family. Qualities arise, hence it is the Ratna family. It is without defilement, hence it is the Padma family. If one becomes familiar with it, one will achieve complete accomplishment, hence it is the Karma family, this is the basis. In that state, meditating on "Yere Walley" (360) is the path. Reaching the end and not turning back is the result. Fourth, introducing the five lights: That clear light is white because it is without impurity. It is yellow because it is perfect in qualities. It is red because it appears without searching. It is green because it is perfect in action. It is blue because it is unchanging and stable, this is the basis. Meditating on it is the path. Reaching the end is the result. Fifth, introducing the five winds: That clear light is inseparable from the warmth of wisdom, hence it is the wind that is like fire. It holds the life of samsara and nirvana, hence it is the life-sustaining wind. If one becomes familiar with it, it separates samsara and nirvana, hence it is the wind that separates the pure and impure. All pure and impure are pervaded by the five lights and that wisdom, hence it is the pervasive wind. Cutting off the life of samsara and sending it to the place of nirvana, hence it is the merciless wind of the end of the kalpa, this is the basis. Meditating on it is the path. Reaching the end is the result. Sixth, introducing the five wisdoms: Clear light distinguishes between samsara and nirvana based on whether it is realized or not, hence it is the wisdom of distinguishing. It gathers into wisdom, hence it is the wisdom of gathering. It pervades all, hence it is the pervasive wisdom. The appearance of light comes and goes together, hence it is the (361) wisdom of moving. It liberates from samsara, hence it is the wisdom of liberation, this is the basis. Meditating on it is the path. Reaching the end is the result. Seventh, introducing the five dakinis: Clear light blue is the Buddha dakini. White is the Vajra dakini. Yellow is the Ratna dakini. Red is the Padma dakini. Green is the Karma dakini, this is the basis. Meditating on it is the path. Reaching the end is the result. Third, the way to practice the four subsequent yogas: namely view, meditation, action, and result. Among these four, first, the essence of clear light is emptiness, its nature is clarity, and great compassion arises without obstruction, this is the view of equipoise. Afterwards, the various appearances of samsara and nirvana appear, all these appearances are apparent but empty of nature, understanding them to be like reflections is the subsequent

One should remain inseparable from the state of realized view at all times. Secondly, in that very state, one should meditate on luminosity and emptiness, free from elaborations. Thirdly, at that time, one should not be attached to anything, and like a madman, act without acceptance or rejection, hope or doubt (362). Fourthly, as familiarity becomes natural, one should practice without acceptance or rejection, hope or doubt, towards the arising of appearances, emptiness, and luminosity, thereby achieving self-arising liberation. There are two necessities for such introduction: temporarily, it prevents the nature of reality from being reduced to intellectual speculation, and allows for direct perception; ultimately, with the key to direct perception, one is not tainted by virtue or vice, and at the end of life, one is naturally born in the realm of the Nirmāṇakāya. Thirdly, explaining the arising of post-meditation experiences. Explaining how to practice this experience includes: identifying the ways in which the four appearances arise; familiarizing oneself with the nature of the four extremes; and realizing the nature of the great liberation. Among these, the first point includes the appearance of the direct perception of reality, the appearance of increasing experience, the appearance of perfected awareness, and the appearance of the exhaustion of reality. Firstly, the luminosity that is introduced in this way appears as the four lamps. That is, like a lamp that shoots water far away. The lamp of the pure realm of reality appears in the center of the empty, cloudless sky. The lamp of the empty bindu, within the appearance, awareness is clear like a string of beads and not (363) distracted, gazing at it, in the state of increasing wisdom of luminosity and emptiness, without conceptualization, remaining unwavering, the knowledge that is clear and pure, the inseparability of primordial purity and spontaneous accomplishment, is called the lamp of self-born wisdom. It liberates the primordial ground in the present appearance and mind. The nature of the ground itself matures into the fruit of original liberation, which is called the wisdom that matures the fruit of the ground. Wisdom matures into the Dharmakāya. By practicing in this way, awareness is integrated into the realm of reality. Until the appearance of the three connected bindus is directly seen by the senses, it is the appearance of the direct perception of reality. Furthermore, in the heart of the jewel mind, the primordial protector, unchanging light, is in the center of the great mass of the realm of reality's light. Essence emptiness, nature luminosity, compassion awareness.
