As before. Second, regarding introducing the play of self-luminous wisdom, there are three points. First, introducing abiding as the ornament of the mind: The three doors are naturally relaxed and abide. After the various thoughts of negation and affirmation cease, all the elaborations of conceptual thought are abandoned. Naturally abide in the original state of co-emergent clear and empty wisdom, like waves calming on a clear ocean. As it says in Self-Arising: "Transcending the extremes of permanence and annihilation, the stains of the four extremes (586) are naturally purified." It is said that at that time, the mind is free from elaboration, which is the Dharmakaya; clear and without grasping, which is the Sambhogakaya; and the uninterrupted manifestation of various forms, which is the Nirmanakaya. Because the essence, nature, and compassion are inseparable. As it says in the Jeweled Treasury: "The complete Buddha is self-awareness. The essence does not change in the three times. The nature is always without cessation. Compassion shines brightly on all." And as it says in the Consequence: "When wisdom naturally abides, it is inseparable in the manner of the three bodies." As it is said. Second, introducing arising as the play of the mind: In the state of clear and non-conceptual mind, without interruption, whatever arises in the appearance of self-nature, without negation, affirmation, acceptance, or rejection, naturally abide. Just as waves arise in the ocean but do not move from the nature of the ocean, all arising thoughts do not move from the play of Dharma-nature (587). As it says in the Jeweled Treasury: "Uninterrupted self-nature can manifest anything. From the moment of arising, it is liberated in its own place. Liberation cannot be expressed in words alone. Therefore, what is not liberated?" And like a snake knot that is naturally liberated from the moment of arising without relying on an antidote. As it says in the Consequence: "The awareness of how it arises is naturally liberated like a snake knot." As it is said. Third, introducing arising and abiding as non-dual: In the state of non-conceptual mind-essence, although various conceptual thoughts arise, without negation, affirmation, acceptance, or rejection, naturally abide. Therefore, it abides without moving in the state of Dharma-nature, and the self-nature of abiding arises uninterruptedly. Therefore, the self-nature of arising and abiding is non-dual, just as waves arise from the ocean but subside into the ocean and are inseparable. Whatever conceptual thoughts arise, they arise spontaneously (588) and disappear spontaneously, the state of Dharma-nature.

In order not to transcend karma, it should be understood as such. As it says in "Marvelous": Just like the waves of the ocean, all the movements of the waves of the mind, dissolve into the original ground of the ocean. And as it says in "Doha": As long as it emanates from the mind, that itself is the nature of the protector, are water and waves different? As it is said. Therefore, if the mind abides, it abides in the original state. If it emanates, it appears as the play of wisdom. If it is equal, it is in the state of non-duality. No matter what is done, it does not transcend the play of Dharma nature, therefore, abiding does not need to be cleared, emanation does not need to be stopped, equality does not need to be cultivated. No matter how it appears, it is not grasped, therefore, the view of the Great Perfection of Dharma nature, which transcends stopping, cultivating, taking and abandoning, is introduced. Thus, it is introduced. (589) That is, previously, at that time, the experience that arises in awareness for the meaning to be meditated upon, that itself is introduced. If the superimposition is cut off on the ground of the state of being, then by maintaining its continuity without diminishing, stability will gradually be obtained. Also, at that time, if experience does not arise for the meaning of meditation, but goes into the realm of understanding, then even if an introduction is given at this time, it will be in vain. Therefore, the previously explained stages of meditation should be meditated upon again with effort. Later, by combining the introduction with the way experience arises, and by showing and practicing it, the beginning of experiencing the meaning will gradually be grasped. Furthermore, what should be known at this time is that when practicing the path in this way, the obstacles to meditation in general are, as it is said in the scriptures: Laziness and instructions, forgetting and sinking and agitation (590) and, non-attention and attention, these are the five faults. And, the antidote to that is: Abandoning these eight kinds of attention, abiding and abiding in that, cause and effect itself. Not forgetting the object, sinking and agitation and conceptualization and, abandoning these manifest attentions and, abiding naturally when peaceful. As the venerable Maitreya said, this should also be known here. That is, when one is in equipoise, for example, more conceptual thoughts arise than before, and also, sometimes one is completely cut off and abides in dullness, and sometimes one does not abide, and even if one abides, there is a subtle attention deep inside that cannot be stopped, all three of these are trying to abide.
