On the crown of one's own head, visualize a white Hūṃ (Tibetan: ཧཱུྃ, Sanskrit Devanagari: हुँ, Sanskrit Romanization: hūṃ, Chinese literal meaning: Hūṃ) syllable, clear and radiant, on top of a lotus and moon disc. From its complete transformation arises glorious Vajrasattva, with a white-colored body, one face, and two arms, possessing a peaceful and smiling (538) demeanor, holding a vajra and bell, adorned with silks and precious jewels. His consort, Vajradhātvīśvarī, white and red, holding a curved knife and skull cup, is in union with him. Visualize a white Hūṃ (Tibetan: ཧཱུྃ, Sanskrit Devanagari: हुँ, Sanskrit Romanization: hūṃ, Chinese literal meaning: Hūṃ) syllable at the heart of the father, surrounded by a rosary of the hundred-syllable mantra. Taking refuge in the Three Jewels and possessing bodhicitta, this is the power of reliance. Feeling regret for all sins and non-virtuous actions is the power of repudiation. Resolving not to commit evil even if it costs one's life is the power of reversing from wrongdoing through vows. Practicing the meditation and recitation of Vajrasattva as an antidote to past actions is the power of universally applying the antidote. With thoughts and actions complete with these four powers, focus on the mantra garland at the heart. Generate devotion to the point of shedding tears, thinking, "Bhagavan Vajrasattva, please be mindful!" Then recite the hundred-syllable mantra and Oṃ Vajra (Tibetan: ཨོཾ་བཛྲ, Sanskrit Devanagari: ओṃ वज्र, Sanskrit Romanization: oṃ vajra, Chinese literal meaning: Om Vajra) Sattva Hūṃ (Tibetan: ས་ཏྭ་ཧཱུྃ, Sanskrit Devanagari: सत्त्व हूँ, Sanskrit Romanization: sattva hūṃ, Chinese literal meaning: Sattva Hūṃ). Through the recitation, wisdom nectar like a stream of milk descends from the Hūṃ (Tibetan: ཧཱུྃ, Sanskrit Devanagari: हुँ, Sanskrit Romanization: hūṃ, Chinese literal meaning: Hūṃ) syllable and mantra garland at the heart of the deity, passing through the form of the deity and the point of union, entering one's own Brahma aperture. All sins and obscurations are thought to exit from the doors of the senses and all the pores of the skin in the form of pus, blood, and semen. At the end of reciting the hundred-syllable mantra and so on, as much as one is able, recite: Protector, due to my ignorance and delusion, I have transgressed and broken my vows. Lama Protector, please protect me! Lord Vajradhara, you are the nature of great compassion. I seek refuge in the lord of beings. All transgressions and impairments of the root and branch vows of body, speech, and mind, I confess and purify. Please purify and cleanse all accumulations of sins, obscurations, faults, and stains. After praying in this way (540), visualize the places of the four chakras within the body completely filled with the nectar of bodhicitta, all sins and obscurations completely purified, and the body and mind intoxicated with uncontaminated bliss. Vajrasattva rejoices and smiles, saying: Son of my lineage, all your sins and faults

Everything is pure. Having given blessings in this way, it dissolves into light and merges into oneself. One visualizes oneself as Vajrasattva, clear like an image in a mirror of emptiness, and finally rests in the state of inseparable bliss and emptiness. Among these, what is to be purified are sins and obscurations, what purifies is the method, and the purifier, the practitioner, is not established; thus, expanding with the wisdom of non-conceptualization of the three spheres is the supreme purification of sins. Finally, dedicate the merit. This should be done until the signs of purification of sins are seen. Sixth, Guru Yoga is the supreme method for making the favorable conditions of the profound path the power of accumulating merit and wisdom (541). For this reason, all the key points of interdependence of this path must be arranged from here. Among these, there are two: accumulating merit and making supplications. First, in the sky in front, on a precious throne supported by lions, on a seat of various lotuses and sun and moon, the essence of the root guru and all the lineage gurus is the Great Vajradhara, with a blue body, one face, and two arms, holding a vajra and a bell, in union with the consort, the red Vajravarahi, holding a curved knife and a skull cup. Both are adorned with silk garments, jewels, and bone ornaments. The father is in the vajra posture, and the mother is in the lotus posture. The body is complete with the mandala of peaceful and wrathful deities, and surrounded by clouds of dakinis, dwelling in a realm blazing with five-colored rays of light. At the crown is Oṃ (藏文:ཨོཾ,梵文天城体:ओम्,梵文罗马拟音:oṃ,汉语字面意思:Om), at the throat is Āḥ (藏文:ཨཱཿ,梵文天城体:आः,梵文罗马拟音:āḥ,汉语字面意思:Ah), and at the heart is Hūṃ (藏文:ཧཱུྃ,梵文天城体:हुँ,梵文罗马拟音:hūṃ,汉语字面意思:Hum). From Hūṃ (藏文:ཧཱུྃ,梵文天城体:हुँ,梵文罗马拟音:hūṃ,汉语字面意思:Hum) rays of light emanate, inviting all the gurus, Buddhas, and Bodhisattvas, and they dissolve into oneness, thinking that they are even more radiant than before. The Guru is the embodiment of all Buddhas, the very nature of the Three Jewels. As it says in the *Vinaya Source*: "The Guru is the Buddha, the Guru is the Dharma, likewise, the Guru is the Sangha." Having established certainty that the Guru is the embodiment of all refuges, make that the field of merit and offer the mandala of the three kayas. First, holding a mandala plate made of precious substances, etc., sprinkle it with cow dung and fragrant water, and circumambulate it to the left with flowers, etc., and recite: Oṃ Vajra Bhūmi Āḥ Hūṃ (藏文:ཨཱོཾ་བཛྲ་བྷཱུ་མི་ཨཱཿཧཱུྃ,梵文天城体:ओम् वज्र भूमि आः हुं,梵文罗马拟音:oṃ vajra bhūmi āḥ hūṃ,汉语字面意思:Om, Vajra Ground, Ah, Hum), visualizing it as a golden ground. Om, Vajra Fence, Ah, Hum).
