Sa. The characteristic of liberation as explained is that one verse completely expresses one meaning to be expressed, and one realizes it independently. The characteristic of lineage is that multiple verses express the meaning to be expressed, and are summarized by one verb. The characteristic of a treasury (mdzod) is that it shows the meanings to be expressed with various breaks and various verbs, without fixed verses. The characteristic of aggregation is that for one meaning to be expressed, many verses and many verbs are gathered to show it. Thus, this (text) has the characteristic of a treasury, that is, it shows various things to be expressed such as the five non-dual dharmas and the praise of the root and lineage gurus, three similar verse breaks, and two different verbs 'I prostrate' and 'Protect me again'. The third is the three verses 'stable and moving' etc. For this meaning, 'I prostrate' is explained with the lion's stance, which is the basis. To whom? To the root guru who is inseparable from the Lord of the Wheel, the essence of the five non-dual dharmas, and then explicitly mentioning the powerful protector, the great compassionate one, the good Vajradhara, and the unbroken lineage of precious gurus represented by them. Like a frog's leap, after determining the objects of prostration separately, it is explained in detail like a turtle's walk. What are the qualities of the Lord of the Wheel? As it says in Yeshe Drubpa: 'The pervasive Vajra body, the immutable nature, the true wisdom awareness, the omniscient one is desired above all.' Thus, it possesses five special qualities. The first of these, pervasiveness, is 'stable and moving, all-pervasive'. What is the meaning of this? By what is it pervasive? How is it pervasive? Of these three, the first is, as the root tantra says, 'Whatever is stable and moving.' Thus, mountains and houses that are not included in the mindstream, which belong to the vessel, remain unmoving in the temporary difference, and Mount Meru and others do not perish until the end of the kalpa in the difference of time, so they are stable. The beings such as gods and humans who are included in the mindstream are all moving without abiding at all times and places. The second is inseparable from the wisdom dharmadhatu, 'Dharmadhatu is called wisdom' as it is taught. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

It is certain that it is called 'Perfectly pure primordial Buddha Samantabhadra (普贤王如来,梵文:Samantabhadra, meaning Universal Worthy)', 'Ultimate Bodhicitta', 'Definitive meaning Vajrasattva (金刚萨埵,梵文:Vajrasattva, meaning Diamond Being)', 'Non-dual wisdom', and so on. Third, regarding the three ways of pervasion as the cause, as the dwelling place, and as the door of conceptualization, the first is: Dharmadhatu (法界,梵文:Dharmadhatu, meaning the realm of phenomena) pervades everything as the cause of all samsara and nirvana, because without it, all three realms (三界,梵文:Trailokya, meaning three realms) would not arise. Therefore, in manifestation, it is also the cause of the arising of samsara. The Vajrasekhara Sutra says: 'This is the realm, the cause, and the meaning; the Bodhisattva heart is the cause of the three realms. It is said to be emptiness and without characteristics; it is said that I am without wishes.' All Buddhas and Bodhisattvas of the three times (三世,梵文:Trikala, meaning three times) also arise from it, therefore, it is also the cause of nirvana. The Condensed Tantra says: 'Because there is no beginning and no end, the Bodhicitta is you. Relying on you, there are all the Buddhas, the heroic Bodhisattvas. From the source of true arising, the supreme cause of Buddha's enlightenment, Vajrasattva, I prostrate to you.' Although this shows that it is the cause of the Mahayana nirvana, it is not correct to think that it does not show that it is the cause of the Hinayana. Because it is the cause of all three vehicles, it is called the three realms. The Vajrasekhara Sutra says: 'The cause is said to be the realm, called the Bodhicitta. Now holding the three vehicles, now it is said to be the three realms.' The second is that the Dharmadhatu pervades as the nature of all samsara and nirvana, because when the Dharmadhatu is obscured by sudden defilements, it is the nature of sentient beings. Therefore, all sentient beings are said to have the Tathagatagarbha (如来藏,梵文:Tathagatagarbha, meaning Buddha-nature). The Supreme First says: 'The great Bodhicitta is the nature of all Samantabhadra (普贤王如来,梵文:Samantabhadra, meaning Universal Worthy), therefore all sentient beings have the Tathagatagarbha.' It pervades in the way that the very nature of the three vehicles of nirvana abides in the nature of the inferior, intermediate, and supreme, due to the differences in the purification of obscurations. The Vajrasekhara Sutra says: 'Perfect enlightenment has four aspects, among which enlightenment has three aspects, namely inferior, supreme, and intermediate. The inferior is the Hearer's mind, the intermediate is the Pratyekabuddha's enlightenment, and the supreme is the Bodhicitta, which is the unchanging Vajra.' If it is said that the three vehicles pervading nirvana is true, but pervading samsara is unreasonable, because samsara and nirvana are contradictory, that is not correct. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
