It is like giving a detailed explanation. Regarding this, previous scholars said, 'A treatise without homage is like the Uttaratantra Shastra (Ratnagotravibhāga).' However, some later scholars criticized, 'That is a fault of not being certain about the three entrances to composing a treatise, as stated in Daṇḍin's poetics. Because there is an entrance of definitely indicating the subject matter prior to composing the Uttaratantra Shastra.' That is because you do not know the difference between homage and definite indication, and you only like to refute. Therefore, may the scholars who fully understand abide in peace. Therefore, the structure of the body explained here is to know that even if there is no homage or other things, there is a prerequisite for composing a treatise. In some great treatises such as the Abhisamayalankara, the body and limbs exist together, and considering it is easy to understand, there are also cases where this structure is included in the main text of the treatise, so do not be attached to one aspect. Stating the necessity and connection without anything else is, in the Vinaya Sutra of Arya-guna-prabha, 'Mainly based on the discipline of definitely arising,' the 'definitely arising' mentioned here is the necessity, and 'discipline' is the direct statement of what is to be expressed, and then directly speaking the main text of the treatise. The way of having both homage and promise is that Acharya Punyashri in the commentary on the Eight Vows, 'Having crossed to the other shore of the ocean of the three trainings, after prostrating to the Sugata, in order to abide in the position of the five trainings, I will explain widely and clearly.' After that, he directly enters the main text of the explanation. The way of having three aspects of homage, promise, and humility is that Acharya Bodhibhadra in the chapter of Samadhi Ritual, 'Those who abide as long as existence lasts, prostrating to the Thubwang (Buddha) and his retinue, with mantra, sutra, following the Paramita, I will speak of the chapter of the Samadhi assembly following the sutra.' Immediately after that, he speaks of the previously quoted humility and the three explanations, and then directly speaks the main text of the Samadhi assembly chapter. The way of having the first three and the commentary, which is four aspects, is that Shantideva in Bodhicaryavatara, 'To the Sugata who possesses the Dharmakaya and his retinue, and to all those who deserve homage, I respectfully prostrate.' Starting with homage, 'Entering the discipline of the Sugata's sons, briefly as said in the sutras.' --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

From... to be spoken.’ This means a commitment, and what has never happened before is not mentioned here either.’ This is because of the humility quoted above and the cultivation of virtue for the sake of meditation, the strength of my faith.’ This will also temporarily increase my strength.’ And so on, this is a necessary relationship. Through the word ‘virtue,’ the content to be expressed is expressed, and through ‘for the sake of meditation, the strength of my faith,’ the intention is directly shown. As stated in the old commentary, and then begins the actual discourse. The way in which all five are complete is: because it is not seen, it is not that it does not exist, therefore it must be strived for elsewhere. The meaning of the text: Explanation of Praise The second general meaning is the meaning of the text, including praise and explanation of the commitment. The first is three necessary summary words. The necessary meaning is the same as the four points explained in the previous general meaning. Combine universality and clarity to apply. The meaning of the summary is: by whom is the meaning obtained? By the author. Where is it? In the root guru and his lineage, who are inseparable from the lord of the family. The manner is respectful. The thing to do is prostration. The meaning of the word is: from where to start identifying what is to be expressed? From that, the characteristic of the treatise is the praise that possesses that characteristic. The detailed explanation of praise is divided into three parts. The first part is: like ‘pervading stability and movement,’ what kind of meaning is this praise based on? The content of this is: according to the view of the fearless yoga empowerment, the result of the practice of the path is the characteristic of the body, which is the same as the universal, and the two characteristics of the body that are famous in this tantra. This refers to the latter. For it, there are the basis of explanation, the body, the limbs of explanation, and the mixture of body and limbs. This refers to the view of the limbs of explanation. For it, there are ‘the complete transformation of place and the wisdom body,’ ‘the non-abiding nirvana itself,’ ‘the non-duality itself,’ ‘the continuous activity.’ Like these five, the fourth is the meaning of the non-dual limb, with which to praise. The meaning of the words will be clearly explained below. The second part is: generally speaking, verses are divided into the tradition of the Buddhas and the tradition of the poets. This is mainly consistent with the latter. Each such verse or collection has four ways of showing meaning, namely liberation, lineage, treasure, and collection. As Dandin's poetry decoration says: ‘Liberation, lineage, and treasure, and those called collections.’ --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
